You should cover the cost of having Nates truck towed back since he went there as part of your team. The event was advertised to the public COME AND SEE THE WHOLE TEAM. Since Nathan was part of the draw covering that expense would be the right thing to do for your employee.
I strongly agree, pay for Nate’s repair. Viewers will see you in a better light. I know I would for my employees. I, like you , have more money than they do. Hurt me less than them
Fairbanks, Alaska here. Glad to have found you guys. Jolene is maybe the best videographer I've seen on the RUclips. She always gets the shots that matter. Love the cars you do and the Bugatti, well, that is a piece of work for sure! And your constant discussion and instruction are really good Chad. I no longer play any games and read much less news now that I am watching BAD CHAD. In my high school days I worked at a gas station owned by a Volvo nut. I hand sanded a 544 to the metal for the boss. He painted it a beautiful blue. Best was the 544 we put a bored-out 302 Chevy into. It never lost a street drag race and ended up turning under 12 second 1/4 miles. Some fun! I bought a 122S and turned it into a fire-breathing monster myself nut never did any real body work. Oh, and I Google mapped you and there you guys are! Street view comes through. Have a good winter..
I certified in GMAW and SMAW i ran mig for about 20 years . ive had welding sparks go in my ear and sizzle. they've gone down the back and front of my pants, burned my vitals. had a massive spark go into my shoe burnt between my toes. i did high speed production ,welded over head about 3 hours a day . burnt my dang bald head right through my welding cap. got burnt 5 to 10 times a day om my arms . i got payed real good at the time .20 years later i have burn scars all up and down my arms. Still wouldnt trade the experience for anything. I loved welding. Health made me move on.
Hey Team Hiltz, I am glad to see that everyone got back eventually! I am actually disappointed that I am here today. I was supposed to be at Road America several hours North of me in Wisconsin for a 3 day Camaro rally, racing tomorrow and a car show on Saturday with the Wisconsin Camaro Club. Last minute I got a call from my son who was coming from Michigan to take care of our dogs and he was sick and tested positive for Covid! So I am home instead watching the great job Jolene did on the Video instead!
This car will be stronger than the specks call for! Sorry Nate for your troubles on the road and glad to hear you made it back ok,, and Doug as well,Fina looked like she was having a great time.
You guys rock!! The content is interesting, it’s great how you go into detail as to what you are doing. The videography is awesome. I watch quite a few different shows like yours, none come close to the detail you show during your repairs. Keep up the good work.
We're all pleased that Team Hiltz arrived home safely. Breakdowns happen it's part of Older Vehicles . . Making great progress on Volvo 544 lower body re-enforcement . Before she goes Topless .
Just spent 3 hours watching a woman build a 6x6 truck starting with 3 axles, 1 engine & a manual transmission. She made the whole thing from 1/8 inch plate. She made the frame from 2x4x1/8 inch wall tube.

I enjoy the way Chad takes time to explain things, it makes it easier to follow. Watched another channel and had to leave as I never knew what the hell was going on
Glad Nate made it back and other than that everyone had a good time 😊I think making it a convertible is the best thing for it...cya tomorrow...hope Doug's scarecrow gets a brain 🧠
G'day Chad and Queen Jolene. I like the way you've approached that panel. I'm tackling my first panel at the moment. Tacking and cutting back. Thanks for sharing the knowledge man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
Now once you get the outer sides done ,make frame connectors connecting front rails to the rear rails . That will give you ultimate strength to your frame .
Just a note for yah chad i see your rig is a chevy Tahoe or suburban if it has the 8 speed transmission..i did this to my Silverado on the transmission lines there is a thermostat umm..its one of chevys night mare before it happens to yah this is the part that make your transmission fry if it fails..you can install a thermostat disabler ok..this lets your fluid flow at all times and keeps your transmission about 25 degrees cooler ok..just a heads up.....
I was just wondering about the episode trade 36 Ford for one of your projects. I didn't hear him say anything about a trade. I thought he said he wanted to sell it. 😮
Well like I said I'm a Chevy guy especially with the new LS motors ex .poor Nate he had such good intentions to show his old Ford truck..that sucked..feel for yah Nate hopefully it's not expensive to fix the tranny..uuggg...back to the build I like what your doing I can't wait till you get the floors in this thing and get to cutting the top..way cool guys .hay thanks for bringing us with yah..
Love the show. Would really like to see you do a retractable top on that Volvo. Make it real cool and it would be a challenge. Watch you everyday from sask.
The last patch you made near the end of the video is some damn good fabrication with just basic tools. You’re one of the best I’ve ever seen do it with without fancy tools and presses, etc. etc. etc. !! Very, very impressive in my opinion !! ✌🏼😎💯🥇🥇🥇
Hi An exciting project, it hurts a little inside, (as an old coachbuilder, trained at Volvo in 1975) and with many repairs of 444 and 544 etc.. on the conscience. to see it being slaughtered. :-) Denmark
Not that you answer comments, but any plans on the Bugatti hauler or the toy Bugatti. Also a bad chad museum with all your cars and bikes would be great.
This so much stronger than was it when new !!!!!! it be will cool 😎😎😎😎😎😎 as convertible 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Nathan troubles reminded my dads 1941 Chevy coupe the blew up on the way to a car show it threw a rod ! But it was kind of his fault because he drove it like a modern car 🙄 because that like lawn mower oiling system (no oil pump) the rods had oil slingers on the end rod cap so he showed I was the lasted as long as it did my goodness cars sure did come a long way since then

Good evening everyone
better strengthen the Tunnel & Floor & tie it into the rails & skirts! !

I agree the channel has been blessed so should pass it on. He has probably saved yall so much money on the things he's fixed.
Yep. Pay his expenses
I strongly agree, pay for Nate’s repair. Viewers will see you in a better light. I know I would for my employees. I, like you , have more money than they do. Hurt me less than them
I'm sure they have helped Nate with his truck.

The biggest assets!
What a good bunch of good guys, it's good to have friends like that.

4 of my friends got covid right now,I had it last month for 19 days
You’ll know you’ve got a great convertible if when the car is jacked up to change a flat rear tire you can still open the doors.
I can't wait to see this car done I love the Volvo
Patience is a virtue.
Getting in a hurry always gets you in trouble. Put the floors in first get that all tight and right first.
Great job guys.
The bonus video is also very nice 😎👍
Another great informative video! Thanks for sharing it with all of us!
Go for it Team Hiltz 👁 🐅 👌

G'day Chad and Queen Jolene.

And yes changed out the AC Delco fluid and replaced it with the mobile 1 fluid also helps if the transmission is shuttering..or funny shifting..ok..
A rebuild for that Allison tranny is about 8000 bucks..so the bypass keeps for this expense
Better. Than. New. Real strong. ❤❤❤❤❤

Will the fender fit ?
Nice work
Are you going to set your fenders up there to see where your at or do you just know they will fit?
Awesome, Thanks
Liked seeing the Chocolate Dream smoke 'em!
I bet Gene Winfield pays his helpers.
Take pictures (still) begore you do anything. Makes going back easier.
Awsome ! Protect ur ears dude. Sweden says hello!
Hi An exciting project, it hurts a little inside, (as an old coachbuilder, trained at Volvo in 1975) and with many repairs of 444 and 544 etc.. on the conscience. to see it being slaughtered. :-) Denmark
I really like that one will burn out look like a big turd
Glad you all made it safely back home again, sorry to hear about Nate's truck. You are cooking with gas today
Hey brother if I were you I'd pay for Nate's breakdown expenses. Believe me God will bless you for it.
Nice 👍
Those welds are called " bird- turds " for a reason... But nuff said about those welds coming out of that shop...
Hi all from Trois-Rivieres Quebec
Drifterhuh? A good story Chad.
How are you going to get the inside piece out after you weld the outside pice. Is it open from bottom ?
Not that you answer comments, but any plans on the Bugatti hauler or the toy Bugatti. Also a bad chad museum with all your cars and bikes would be great.
The B post and roof should come down to look sorta like a roll cage
Thanks guys😊
Hi jolene and chad, what brand of cutting disc do you use. Mike from Bridlington UK 🇬🇧. Thanks
I was hoping you were going to say "Nate towed his 350 with the old F100"...I'm sure he'll sort it right
What about Nathan’s truck. Spent an hour on it yesterday and nothing today. What up with that
He said he blew the transmission up and has to get it rebuilt or replace it.
I'm with Doug drifting is such a waste
This so much stronger than was it when new !!!!!! it be will cool 😎😎😎😎😎😎 as convertible 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Nathan troubles reminded my dads 1941 Chevy coupe the blew up on the way to a car show it threw a rod ! I love where this is going but want to know how is the bottom of the door going to seal to the body when the door is shut seeing as it’s flat?

Hello from fredericton NB
i wonder how much he pays his helpers ?
Shazzam looking good 😊🤡🐕
Might be stubid question, but, how are doing weatherstrip on doors?
