Agree, oat milk is too normal in China, some people love it and some don't. It's always exited to try new things that your country doesn't have. China has lots of different vegetables and you may scan and search them online to find out what they are
Pickle bamboo shoot is very good for your healthy hairs. It has biotin and silica. Pickle are good for digestion and inflammation.
Chinese McDonald's used to be good, but now they've reduced the size of the burgers and also reduced the sauce which make the flavors plainer.

Not to be biased, but after 12 months of travelling and 16 different countries we can definitely confirm the British are the most polite and considerate of each other. London is now a multicultural city and it’s not so ‘British’ there anymore, so you do get many people who are rude and inconsiderate (but these people are mostly always non-British 😂)
The Chinese people were also very nice and helpful to us when we needed it ☺️

Maybe you should try the 1+1 kits. Just 13.9 yuan about £1.5, you can get a double beef cheese burger and a cup of beverage or pie. It’s very bargain.

Very interesting video. Haven't seen any west tourist show fast food chain in China before. I seldom visit fast food stores in the states, but it's nice to see there is a fallback option in case tourists want to skip Chinese cuisine for what ever reason.

Taro is a staple in authentic Hawaiian food. It is a side like mashed potatoes or rice and very bland.
Dessert-wise, I find us East Asians tends to like them less sweet. I'm honestly not sure if this is genetic or culturally trained. But you can find a lot of taro, red bean, mung bean, soy powder, etc. based traditional desserts where it's not so sweet.
it's okay to eat once in fast food chain like it, to relieve your curiosity...
but hey, it's China, food paradise, go get local delicacies which you won't be able to eat all of them even using your whole life 🤤🤤🤤

all american fastfood brands are done way better in asia than in usa . mcdo, kfc , kenny roger, starbucks etc better quality and friendly service , cleaner , more variety of products , safer etc

You didn't buy McDonald's membership and didn't buy anything from the 1+1 menu. To be honest, this meal is too expensive. ha-ha.For example, the sausage burger combo, if you are a McDonald's member, is 31 yuan, but you spent 60 yuan.
Mcdonalds in asia is just fastfoo, if fastfood actually gives a F**K... the seasonal items in each country and region are bonkers... (taro is just purple yam... half the time its used in desserts)
Almost every chinese buy MacDonald's on the app, and just come to pick it up, it's way way way cheaper

About the oat milk, there are around 70% chinese people with some level of lactose Intolerance. Especially in the southen area. That's one of the majorfactor why oat milk is popular in China.

Well, first of all, people stand in 2 different sides debating whether KFC or the McDonald tastes better in China, but each of the brands wins for certain products. Personally speaking, McDonald wins for its French Fries and Chicken Wings, while you can only order mashed potato in KFC and that's my favorite since I was a little child. KFC is also good at Chicken wings but I personally think they put much more flour on the wings (wings in McDonald is more about the meat). Suggestions: Spicy chicken wings & Fries & Ice-cream for McDonald's; Mashed potato & Chicken nuggets & Chicken popcorn for KFC. Especially KFC, you will only know how delicious it is comparing to KFC located in its origin country lol. (BTW, fast food such as McDonald's and KFC are not focusing on "Flavor”， I mentioned this because I saw that unpleasant face while you were trying the TARO pie, the bamboo roll you loved because it is a localized product, cause you only eat bamboo in that way here in China. McDonald's got TARO/Pineapple/Chocolate/(even with seasonal apple) pie in China, and Taro pie is the least sweet one among these options, if you try the pineapple or chocolate pie you would think it is over sweetened, just to let you guys know there are different options for customers, so that TARO pie should just be something you are not interested.
