When Canobie has ridden twice the amount of indoor coasters than you have ridden in total roller coasters
Lol
Hey with nothing in central Canada it's 25 times (Wonderland was closed from winter and I didn't want to go on mindbender at the time)
Same
Actually he's ridden 4 times as many
@@chargedonpc9989 hello charged
Although it's not the most thrilling or coaster based, Escape from Gringotts is my favorite as a big Harry Potter fan
Yes it's a great ride incredible theming and I'm not the biggest Harry Potter fan but I still found escape from gringots an incredible and very unique ride especially for someone who lives in the uk and we dont have to many incredible dark rides well except x that was incredible
I agree completely as a massive Potterhead too. I actually have Hagrid’s as my #1 overall credit. But we’ll see if Steve can top it this summer
It's a very good ride.
Canyon Blaster is a criminally underrated coaster. Now I'm not saying it's the best coaster ever. Just really good.
It's much smoother than Arrow's older loopers and feels very fast.
I thought Supersonic Odyssey in Times Square Theme Park will be on this list, it was underrated
I only put ones I've ridden. That one looks good though.
WOW a Schwarzkopf Coaster at number one. This shows once again why Anton Schwarzkopf is a legend among coaster fans. That such an old coaster is still so great and smooth today shows that Schwarzkopf was able to offer outstanding quality at the time.
It's a smooth and intense ride. Love it!
R.I.P. Mindbender 1985 - 2023
@billkikstra2225 i have video on my channel of it being taken down. i also have a video of the blueprints, trains loaded ready to goto Indian beach and more.
Love this list and the length of it! nice job 🙌🏻
Thanks!
7:38 thats gotta be the best scare ive heard of period
It was nuts and not something that could ever happen in America.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah definitely not
Pretty Rad man, much appreciated, good stuff!
Thanks!
A shout-out to Revolution at Bobbejaanland - the combination of the simple, but smooth layout, a ridiculously long train, some trashy light effects and an oldschool Soundtrack made me enjoying this unique ride quite a lot!
That one was just ok. The layout wasn't too exciting for me.
and Chaos a clone of it that was in the US
I enjoyed riding Canyon Blaster. 'Tis one of my first roller coasters with inversions I've ever been on. I love this channel. It treats of my favourite conquerable fear. What's inside the channel is in my bucket list of what to do before death. More thrilling than a playground slide. Weeeeeeeeeee!!🎢
That's a good ride.
The only Revenge of the Mummy I’ve been on is the one in Orlando and this ride used to scare me with the fire as a little kid
The first launch surprised me on that one.
I could go to sleep to this voice, so soothing and calm 🤤
Lol
Thanks for the lack of spoilers, hard to avoid those these days. Great video, love the unique content!
Thanks! Especially on indoor coasters, I'd hate to spoil something like this on a brief description.
@@CanobieCoaster But, um...what about us poor folks who'll never have the cash to head out there? ^^;
Oringinal idea i love it been awhile for a list
CoasterDash made one too.
@@CanobieCoaster ok
Runaway mountain is def one of the most underrated / never talked about but great indoor rides
It's overshadowed by the rest of the park's lineup.
Living in Midwest canada isn’t the best location when you love coasters, but getting to ride mindbender regularly is a treat! Hands down my favourite indoor coaster, and my favourite Schwarzkopf I’ve ridden.
I would probably enjoy it more if it were outside, but given our winters it would only be operational for like 4 months of the year lol
It's an elite ride.
Oopsies
Just found this channel. Love the name canobie. New England's top theme park if not top 5. Also indoor roller coasters are really fun especially because of the availability of theming and how they can be short or not have all the thrills of outdoor coasters but are still fun to go on.
Canobie is a great park.
Mine will always be Mummy in Orlando. I just love it
A fun one.
Gotta agree with Mindbender at #1; it's a marvel that massive coasters like that and Shellraiser are able to be built so seamlessly into their parks. I'm curious of your thoughts on the seldom discussed Dubai Drone. It's probably not thrilling enough to make top 50, but I thought it was a fun little coaster, and certainly smoother than most of the Gerstlauer spinners on the list.
It barely spun for me and only had speed for the final few seconds.
R.I.P Mindbender 1985 - 2023... 😭😭😭 PLEASE BUY/SAVE IT MR MUSK OR MR BEAST! (if ether of them could ever read this🤣😭😭)
@@GoogsMindbent Last to grey out wins $10,000
That dark ride you mentioned with the saw would freak me out so much
It scared me.
Really good list overall. My favorite indoor coaster is hyperspace mountain and I prefer it over magic kingdom’s version
It's more intense, but I prefer the airtime based one in Florida.
I love how much love you give the WDW Space Mountain. You are the only guy I've seen who acknowledges how good it is. Love that a seasoned enthusiast like yourself sees the glory of the OG Space Mountain. Makes me feel validated in my love for the ride. Although we both might have the same nostalgia goggles on. If that is the case, I'm glad I got 'em on.
It's a genuinely great ride even compared to other coasters.
that ride is so friggin good I love it
I like the coasters that are in the uae espically indoor ones :D!!
They have a lot there.
I love indoor coasters if they are dark like Space Mountain or Dark Knight, indoor ones that are just in a big park room like Shellraiser are good to but I'd rather that ride be outside or indoors with no light. That darkness feeling is great, you don't know what is coming your way.
That's fair. They do feel different.
You ever been to Australia and gone on Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster at Movie World?
That's one of the best classic style Wild Mouse coasters in the world! The original live action movie based theming was sensational too. It was my very first indoor roller coaster(im Aussie)! So I'll never forget riding it!
Nice Ghost Train section, into the elevator lift, followed by a backwards drop into a turntable and the classic wild mouse section as the MXPX movie version of the theme song hits.
They didn't do a good job re-theming it in the "Next Generation" version though by adding way too many LCD screens and mostly taking out the Animatronics that were in the ride, but they closed it for another multi-million dollar refurbishment and apparently they're installing brand new animatronics. People complained alot about them ruining the theming, so they're properly fixing it.
Unfortunately, Scooby Doo was closed for a refurbishment when I went to Australia, but the ride looks really cool.
Revenge of the Mummy in Orlando is still my favorite (haven't ridden Hollywood's). I also haven't ridden Shellraiser, but I like seeing that you put Mummy ahead of it.
If Shellraiser were smooth, it would have placed ahead of Mummy.
@@CanobieCoaster mummy is no longer smooth tho
Nice.
Thanks!
My top two will always be the mummy and rock n roller coaster. I’m a sucker for heavy theming
I enjoy themed rides too.
Great video! I don’t know how you crank them out!
“Tame” is not a word I’ve ever heard associated with Bakken’s Tornado. That ride is crazy!
One coaster not on your list: Plohn’s Miniwah. To say that it’s a unique coaster would be a great understatement.
Tornado has probably the craziest free spinning out of any spinning coaster in the world
This is why I think it looks like the second best coaster in Denmark (behind Piraten)
@@coasterhockygamingboy9549 It’s the spinning launch up the lift and the violent first drop that are particularly INSANE. The rest of the ride is intense, too, so my experience was very different than Canobie’s.
I would probably agree about it being the second best coaster in Denmark if it weren’t for the fact that the drop karate chopped my collar bones both times I rode it. So painful.
My top two in Denmark are Piraten and Tivoli’s Rutschebanen.
I agree the start to Tornado is nuts, but the ride petered out for me after and I tried it multiple times.
One of my home park's coasters cracks the top 10 heck yeah! (El Loco)
Nice!
My favourite is revolation at bobbejaanland. May be old but still a great experience
I found it sort of dull.
Yay, Vogelrok is on the list
I enjoyed it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers the MK version of Space Mountain. I get that it's rougher and that the theming and queue line aren't as good as the one at Disneyland. But I think the drops really make up for that. I wish we could have the queue line and theming from Disneyland but with the layout of MK.
I love those drops.
Thank you again for using my footage ❤️
One question, when do you plan to release the Journey to Atlantis video using my footage?
Yes, that's for a SeaWorld San Antonio review that will be coming out in the next 2ish weeks.
I haven’t ridden any indoor coasters, unless you count a powered dragon wagon in a building at a carnival. But one of the best looks to be the launched gerstlauer spinner with a heart line roll
That indoor spinning coaster with the loop is weird for so many reasons.
I knew what your best coaster was going to be. When I rode Mindbender, I Greyed out. The only time I have ever greyed out.
That ride is insane.
Bucket list are Space Mountains in Disney parks abroad. To bad Arrow never got its spinning coaster developed. So many "spinners" on your list. I think they have a broad appeal & lend themselves to great theming & special effects. I had an imaginary themed park. Mine was like Big Thunder but as a spinning coaster with a cRazY final drop. This was b4 roller coaster Tycoon. I made handmade scale models. I envy you and your impressive list. At the same time I'm HaPpY 4 you as well. Keep a riding them! Oh! BTW Fire in the Hole is an oldie from Freedomland (defunct park Bronx, NY 1960-65)
It would be interesting to have seen what an Arrow spinner would have looked like.
ive spoiled the winjas surprises for myself, and let me just say that amount of suprises that ride has on it is insane
Absolutely!
I skipped that part just cuz
Considering what you said in the intro, Tornado should not be on the list since it have many outdoor elements. But i really enjoyed to see such a big list like this!
This would be my top 50
1 Van Helsings Factory
2 Eurosat
3 Winjas Fear
4 Winjas Force
5 Vogel Rok
6 Miniwah
7 Walking Dead the ride
8 Spuk
9 Revelution
10 Crazy Bats
11 Shoot, i ran out😬
Yay for Miniwah! 👏
In retrospect, I didn't realize a decent chunk of the ride was missing a roof. Whoops!
@@CanobieCoaster Haha, that make more sense!
@@StamfordBridge Yaaaaa!!
Right when I get my business started this channel I have now is gonna be the family fun centers Channel. With news about what coaster we are getting for the building.
Oh ok!
Great list. I would have added tron in Shanghai to the list
I haven't ridden it, but it likely would have had I ridden it.
@@CanobieCoaster I hope you get the chance to someday, it's so much fun. Disney is building a second one in Florida.
Yes mind bender is awesome it’s my favourite roller coaster in galaxy land sadly it’s not running right now and I don’t know when it will start running again
Has it run since covid?
I prefer the front seat on Sandy's Blasting Bronco. IMO the front is significantly more smooth than the back.
I prefer the front more for the forces.
How do you know if you're greying out on FOF if it's pitch dark lol
I can feel it and what little you can see disappears.
My fav is definitely Vogel Rok. Tho I’m an absolute Efteling Stan so that’s to be expected.
That's a good one.
Does stacking mean run multiple trains at once? (For roller coaster definition)
It's when a train is stuck on the brake run waiting for the next train to dispatch.
If I had a shot for every spinning coaster that was on here I would feel like I have just marathoned one.
Possible!
Rock N Roller Coaster was my first launch coaster with inversions as a little kid
Same for me.
Nice. Mine was Dragon Fyre at Canada’s Wonderland in 2016 (I was 8)
I believe 25 used to be the Pepsi Ripsaw Roller Coaster, which I really enjoyed, so I'm happy it's still there despite the retheme from Camp Snoopy to NickelodeohGodwhy. As a kid, I loved the alliteration of "Ripsaw Roller Coaster Ride Rules".
Yes, it's mostly the same.
@@CanobieCoaster Ah, good. That one was a fun coaster, gentle but entertaining. One of the few coasters I've ever ridden, and I rode it multiple times. (I'm not a big fan of the zero-G feeling in my chest, you see, otherwise I'd be all over coasters for the ZOOOOOM!)
I need so much more information about Spuk. I need all of it.
I haven't seen much on it.
OMG YESSS I’m so glad Spiderman is in the top 10!
It's a wild ride.
i've been in the vogel rok once. never again. so scary. i didn't realize it was a rollercoaster until i got on it
It is mysterious what type of ride it is until you reach the platform.
The bird entrance is really imposing. Also adore the onboard audio.
Got a first row ride on fast and furryous it was amazing
Great! It's a fun family coaster.
My favorite indoor roller coaster is Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom followed by Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts at Universal Studios Florida, Rock n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion and Kings Island respectively, SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge at Nickelodeon Universe in Mall of America, Fairly Odd Coaster at Nickelodeon Universe in Mall of America, Pepsi Orange Streak at Nickelodeon Universe inside Mall of America, Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida, Canyon Blaster at the Circus Circus Adventuredome and Avatar Airbender at Nickelodeon Universe inside Mall of America.
The original Space Mountain doesn't get as much love as it should from enthusiasts.
lol never thought id ever hear someone say they would rather have a certain ride stack
I didn't either until I rode Tom and Jerry.
12:53 It is actually the sister coaster of Eurosat, not Euromir.
Euromir is the spinning coaster.
Also: Did you not ride Eurosat CanCan Coaster or why is it not on the list?
@@matthewrobertson95 I think you misunderstood Another Swiss RUclipsr, although his timestamp was a bit late so you might have missed it, but Canobie Coaster said Spatiele Experience was similar to Euromir, but he meant Eurosat - I always get the two mixed up too 🥴
Whoops, I'll edit that part out. Got the two names mixed up. I only rode Eurosat in its original form.
*hits blunt* an outdoor amusement (not theme but amusement) park where every attraction from the big massive coasters to the wacky worm and flat rides are individually indoors
Wow
Do top spinning coasters next
Since I have a chance of riding Ride to Happiness this summer and that one looks like it could potentially top the list, I would like to hold off until then. But it's one I intend to make.
How do you grey out on flight of fear when its pitch black…
You can tell by the fuzzy feeling you get and your vision reduces further. At least for me.
I would have gone Canyon blaster over el loco but excellent list
I prefer the open trains on El Loco and that crazy drop.
@@CanobieCoaster yes trains are better for sure. I prefer the intensity and fast pace.
I'm a little surprised Tornado only is 19 on your list. I have not been on it but I've heard great things about it. I have to agree with your #1. Haven't been on it but strongly considering going to Canada for it next year.
The start to Tornado was as epic as people say, but the rest of the ride wasn't as wild as expected.
oopsies
Can you do top 10 spinning coasters
Since I have a chance of riding Ride to Happiness this summer and that one looks like it could potentially top the list, I would like to hold off until then. But it's one I intend to make.
lol when I first heard of Pepsi Orange Streak in 2017, it became my favourite coaster named
It's a weird name.
10:16 How did USJ disable the spinning?
They do it whenever they enable VR.
Revelution at Bobbejaanland is certainly up there for me
I wasn't a big fan of that one. The layout was pretty repetitive to me.
Occasionally, they'll turn the last car around on the Mindbender.
Riding the Mindbender backwards once in my life time was enough.
I wish I could experience that.
I haven’t ridden that much rollercoasters but I would say crush’s coaster would be my favourite
That's a fun one.
And all roller coasters in the world, do you like shaking and smooth, like both, prefer shaking, prefer smooth?
Prefer smooth
I think my favourite is so biased due to the fact it was in my now defunct home park, the only home park I had called Crystal palace
Oh that makes sense.
@@CanobieCoaster it was basically a monorail that interacted with the theme park and went over and through the golf course
Disneys hyper space mountain is the only one on the list I have rode before the starwars re skin and it's still one of my favourite rollercoasters to this day because it's so dark it just feels unpredictable
The Star Wars theme is neat.
Mummy Florida
Both are fun.
lol I got spoiled accidentally about Altair after looking it up on RCDB
(PS I’ve never heard of this coaster before this video)
Do you mean Inferno?
Hyperspace Mountain at Disneyland Paris was in your video of most surprising roller coasters in the world
Yes it was.
Did you already ride Psyke underground (short but intense) or (r)evolution? I think they are also top 50.
I haven't been to Walibi Belgium. I rode Revolution but wasn't a big fan of the layout.
@@CanobieCoaster I can understand that the layout itself is pretty 'special', just a spiral, but the ride/effects (not the VR) itself are unique, would place it somewhere between 41 and 50.
And psyke underground, very short, but very intense, would place it around place 25.
Does Europa park have a indoor coaster
Yes, Eurosat and then Arthur is partially enclosed.
How many Space Mountain’s are there?
5 by Disney plus several imitations/knock-offs.
i love runaway mountain
It's a solid ride.
go on hydra at dorney park bra the fist thing you do is have a corkshrew to start?
Hydra's jojo roll is awesome.
@@CanobieCoaster best part you feel like your gonna fall out best hang time ever?
X at Thorpe park was one of my favourite coasters just for the amazing memories I got riding and believe it or not queing for it! And easily one of the best indoor coasters without question
I'm not a fan of that one.
No problem it was my first coaster at thorpe as it is my home park and when I went for the first 2 or 3 years I wasnt 1.4 so wasnt tall enough to ride the larger coasters there. So in that regard it holds a place in my heart so might be a little biased but I remeber being at fright nights with a few people marathons it at 9PM and just sprinting round and round and dancing while racing threw the queue! So little biased!🤣
@@CanobieCoaster why not? I would like to know as I'm a little biased🤣
Laff trakk is so good
It's a decent ride.
Spuk makes me wonder if the dark ride I rode in the late 70's at Asbury Park was a type of roller coaster. If so: I have another coaster credit I did't know I had until now.
Possibly!
@@CanobieCoaster There was also a Pinfari Galaxi coaster there which I loved at that age.
Don't remember you mentioning Dark Knight at Great Adventure. I could have missed it. It's an indoor wild mouse, but it has decent theming and is much better than Skull Mountain in the same park.
That one is ok. Good wild mouse, but the layout isn't unique.
@@CanobieCoaster OK, I see your point. You inspired me to go up to Nickelodeon Universe this winter.
Exterminator is actually in my top 25 out of the 200 coasters I’ve ridden! 😬
It's a unique one.
I live in edmonton and once went on the mindbender 14 times in a row and ended up with the worst migranes and neck pain XD totally worth tho
Wow!
You forgot to do Berjaya Time Square is my favorite mall😢
I only included rides I've personally been on. That mall looks cool.
Galaxy orbiter
Just same at stand
Same at stand?
I gotta say spongebob RBP was pretty bad when I rode it in October 2017. It had a terrible rattle and the headbanging was not fun. At the time I didn't know about the "keeping your head forward" technique, so maybe that would help lol
It's my go-to on rough rides.
@@CanobieCoaster I would be eternally grateful if you made a list of techniques to avoid pain on roller-coasters.
As I stated on another video, I appreciate your way of doing things. I feel like you are doing a much better job than some of these other clowns. I REALLY REALLY LOVE that you don't sit here and make up historic "facts, stats, reception, etc" about coasters that are flat out wrong. I'm not sure why most of these guys do it (coaster studios and themepark crazy are the worst), maybe it's the incessant need for acceptance that they do this to try and portray being on the "inside" so people think......... or they shall I say that THEY think people will view them as cool. Or if it's just a need to be a "know-it-all"...... And I'm really digging the fact that anything you report, you stick to facts, and anything else you say is opinion, which everyone is entitled to. I'm really impressed with your videos. They don't blow me away with anything over the top, but you don't need all that if you stick to reality and post quality content. Great job homie.
That said, I have one gripe here. And that is your definition, or shall I say the way you categorize your indoor coasters. For instance I will use this as an example that you did earlier as well, the Matterhorn. Now this may not be a total indoor coaster, but I find this to be the epitome of what it indoor coaster is. Reason being, I know indoor coaster as a literal definition, but reality the definition is more so attached to being a will themed ride or coaster..... In regards to this, my example is the Nickelodeon coasters for instance. Now course there's no debate that that is technically an indoor coaster completely because it resides completely indoors. However I almost don't really consider this in the vein of what we like to think an indoor coaster is because as I said a few moments ago the definition being slightly skewed from what a linguistically literal indoor coaster is, is one thing. But what we and the industry call am indoor coaster does leave room for interpretation, as its usually paired with theming more so than the technicall form of "indoor". The Nick coasters are just the same thing as any other coaster sitting on a slab of concrete, they just happened to be placed in a warehouse. But, same coaster as the one outside, no difference or variation in experience.
Yet, Matterhorn is a ride built indoors as opposed to being "placed" indoors. Which gives the ride the unique elements, aspects and experiences we routinely mean when paired with the term indoor coaster. Like, Disneyworld's SpaceMtn is a copy of the Matterhorn at the original Disneylanc. There's some slight differences, but overall it was copied. Yet, DW's SpaceMtn and OG-DL's MatHorn are completely different ride experiences. Which like I said, the Nick ones that have sister coasters are basically the same.
Anyway long story of me rambling here I know. But as I already said, I completely disagree with your categorization and/or placement of indoor roller coasters.
I agree there's a difference between how an indoor themed coaster versus one placed in an indoor park rides, but I just grouped them together for the sake of this video.
What do you prefer, shaky or smooth?
Smooth
Can't be having Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom being in this list at all let alone at no.2 Uncomfortable to say the least. Revenge of The Mummy Florida prob tops for me + love Winjas at Phantasialand & the coasters at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi were great too
Magic Kingdom's Space Mountain's trains are well padded so I don't mind the lack of smoothness.
12:49 You mean Eurosat?
Yes, I'll get that part fixed.
What is the most thrilling enclosed* coaster you’ve been on? I have a good feeling it’s the one and only Hyperspace Mountain: Rebel Mission at Disneyland Paris!!
*Enclosed: runs inside its own building.
Probably Hyperspace Mountain or Bakken's Tornado on Boost Mode.
Space Mountain MK babyy
I love it.
Does the name sake of your channel just so happened to be Canobie Lake Park in Salem New Hampshire? If so, I live 20 minutes from there! It’s a great park, and I might be going back this year because I am getting vaccinated!
Yes, that's why!
Mind Bender = one ride I've never been on. And Im thinking I never will as I just have a feeling it will be removed very soon. I don't have any info on that, I just feel like it will be.
If you can ride the relocated Quimera, it's a better version.
11:21 Is this in Japan?
Yes.
Yup!
I never understood the heavy metal music on Skull Mountain
It's weird.
They’ve got some like disco music for the coaster power hours event lol
What are the differences between:
Shimmy, shimmying:
Shuffle, shuffling:
Rattle, rattling:
Vibration, vibrating:
All those are when the train can shake.
You did Laff Trakk dirty
It's fine, but I wish it spun more.
when cedar points disaster transport doesnt make the list :( (my favorite)
Never rode it.
