@@panato_watches No worries. I am considering getting this watch and the lack of AR is one criticism some people have. But I also found an aftermarket replacement crystal with AR for sale, so that might be something to consider. Thanks for your video!
@@gabedamien in everyday use it's not a problem for me. Since January when I got it it's my favourite and most worn watch. I highly recomend you trying it out. Thank you for a kind word, happy you enjoyed it
@@gabedamien I’ve seen many videos and comments with people who have this watch and say the “reflection issues” are highly overstated; seems to not be an issue for most. I just bought one and really excited about it.
@evanjames81 I've been wearing this watch everyday for over a year. The reflection really isn't that much of an issue as people make it out to be. Unless you're used to a watch with AR coding, I guess you'll see a difference. But in practicality it's just a knit-pick. Enjoy your Hamilton watch!!
The OG field watch. A lot comes close but for an icon watch collector. Nothing compares to its overall value. The unseen value period. This , the moonwacthes from omega bulova and seiko and an skx and a rolex sub are the most iconic watches ever created.
Couldn't agree more. Buying this gives you a legend and a name recognised by watch geeks no matter the interest. It's hard to find something that good it that budget.
It's true, my Certina could be smaller. Mistake of the past. That was my choice as 18th birthday gift, and I thought it was OK. IRL it looks a bit smaller than on the video, but still love it and never going to sell it. The Hami is truly ammazing and fits great on all sort of straps. Thanks for kind word, happy you enjoyed it, have a good day ;)
It was my first auto with Swiss movement. Crazy accuracy compared to my others with Japanese movement. About -1 or -2 a day. Some days accurate to the second.
Quite a watch for a first automatic! Mine goes about +3,8 since I got it, so within COSC. My Seiko Alpinist and SARB033 with 6R15 were much worse than this Hami.
Beautiful Watch, my friend! i'm thinking about buy one, but i have read some negative comments about water resist in this piece. Some people has described leak, foam in crystal, etc... after use in shower, pool and rain What you think about it?
I owned it for a year (already sold it a while ago 😂), but I didn't have problems with WR. I used it on a sailing boat, put it in water a few times and nothing hapened. To be honest it's a first time I hear about problems of this kind. After owning mechanical right now I can tell you: see both of them in person 😉
I've been keeping an eye on it for quite a while. In fact, it came into open competition with the Seiko Alpinist...which I already had in mind. But this Khaki Field, it's climbing several positions. I have a wrist of 16.5 and I really believe that it can really do for me.
I used to own the Alpinist with aftermarket Strapcode Oyster bracelet. In my opinion Hami is superior to the Seiko: looks, finishing, feel on the wrist, accuracy, power reserve, versitality, proportions and looks. They both look good on smaller wrists, but my money goes for Khaki. No matter what you choose you won't be dissapointed, both are great. Have a good day ;)
@@panato_watches thank you for your answer! Which confirmed everything I already guessed. Because Khaki Field is a step up from all points of view, despite the beauty and charm of the Alpinist. And I want to emphasize that the photos and videos fail to give justice at Field Watch... which seen live is something truly exceptional. And I really think he will be my next birthday present 🎂🎁⌚
It would be nice to have it, but after owning it for over 2 months now I cannot complain. Watch feels really good and lack of screw down crown isn't an issue for me. Crown is very precise, it's hard to pull it by accident. Go ahead ad try one on ;) Have a good day Mike :)
Screw down lol. Like it matters. In 20 years wearing watches without screw-down crown in woods, in water, on construction yard never never had accident.
Its a field style watch, not a diver. You state your opinion but you never hold the watch in your hand. The videous does not do justice to the watch. I have the 42mm by the way and the watch feels top quality from the looks, feel and everything overall. The only minus is the crazy reflections from the crystal.
Why wouldn't anyone? It's more practical, looks much better on wrists and makes it available for more wrists. If you have like 7.5 inch + size, you should avoid 38mms
7:10 "The AR coating works perfectly" - this watch doesn't have any AR coating.
you're right, my mistake, sorry for that Gabe. Thanks for correcting

Of all the watches I have, this is my favorite.
It doesn't surprise me, it's an amazing piece :D
Nice little video, bro. Thank you for sharing with us. I’ve never seen a wood box before-thought that was a really nice aesthetic. Beautiful watch!

I just got my Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic with leather strap. I love it!
Congratulations! Enjoy it mate, you shouldn’t be disappointed 😀
@@panato_watches I have been eyeballing this watch for a few years and I finally pulled the trigger and got one. I am not disappointed.

In good health! Very classy, the size is a good fit too, the one you start off with is quite large

What is your wrist size?
it is very skinny, somewhere in between 16,5 and 17cm
If Hamilton would Stop being so "cheap", and start putting a Screw-Down Crown on Their Field Watches, I would buy One!

Just received mine and the only problem I see is should of bought it twenty years ago.
Good for you, congratulations! 👏

There are time marks for a reason mate ;)
Why would anyone want the 38? Too small!
If you're enormous then yes, but for everyone else it's fine. You can also get it in MANLY 42 MILIMITERS ;)
Because it's a field watch. Traditionally on the smaller side as it's shouldn't be in the way of you doing things.
