I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but disliking a video cause "you dont like her voice" i mean cut her some fucking slack. You only need 4 shades. you could get by with 3 if you aren't doing a dark look. :-)

this was actually SUPER SUPER helpful! Unfortunately I had to learn some of these on my own so my eyeshadow was a mess for years and I basically ran away from eyeshadow when doing my makeup but this makes me feel sooooo much more confident! AND I LOVE how you didn't go naming the brands of brushes you use bc that always gives me anxiety and makes me think ugh well I can't get that look if i don't have that exact brush!
You are adorable and talented and this is your calling. Most people don't trip over their calling but your extremely pretty, outgoing and helpful. You don't seem to take yourself way too seriously and the balance of all those comments creates a well rounded person with a gift for this. Thanks for showing me how to do this, I'm 51 now and just started doing this. You are the first video that I have made it all the way through. Blessed Be to your life and be free. I was 8 when I had to listen to The Wall and switch the tape over if I was still up, this day and age means I don't have to read the computer manual, but it doesn't mean that I will be able to listen to someone else read it to me. And I appreciate your tips. Since I don't appreciate people in general, it means you are gifted. Thanks for letting me know about the other places I have to put makeup on. My eyebrows and lashes. And I still can't believe that I made it all the way through. You will make a lot of profitable skill sets and do something for yourself without the help of others. Being able to create something special without assistance is not guaranteed path, but you can do it. Good luck with your life and everything that you find special about it.

in asia we always put light shades on the lower lash line because if you do it with smokey colors, it looks kind of tired. i think using bright colors are okay to asians.

I know. It can bring a look together or make your eyes look brighter and wider. It doesn't make any sense to me how it would make the eyes look smaller. Dark colors do that.
Agreed, light colors look great and make eyes look bigger. It looks bad on her in that video because she has no face make up on and she used a sickly grey silver that is not flattering to her darker skin tone.

Amanda panda there's nothing wrong with having a southern accent! I live in Texas, so I'm used to them, and have one of my own. People are just too harsh and judgmental. They probably don't like it because its not what they're used to.

Those eyelashes she put on though we're TEERRIBLE! You don't want your lashes touching your eyebrows and covering all the work you put into your eyeshadow.

+Airinn Rasjid How tf do you copy someone's mouth? -.- You don't decide how it looks without surgery, and I'm sure she wouldn't spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to look like her. If you're talking about her actually moving her lips to enunciate, then that's just stupid. Guess what I learned in chorus? How to 'show' pronunciation so that people better understand what I'm saying.
Bunny has really big teeth to speak around (my sister does as well, it effects the way her lips have to move) and her whole persona is to look as crazy as she can, which includes excessive enunciation, but enunciation isn't 'her thing'. It's partially what she has to do, and she just makes it more dramatic.

Laura, do you have a video kinda like a blending 101? My problem is with blending and knowing exactly which brushes to use at which points (what type of brush for the transition shades/crease/outer v/etc.)

Applying bright, shimmery colors to lower lashline is a big trend in Asia, while applying dark, often matte colors is popular in the US. I have to admit that I prefer shimmery shadows much more, for me it's the dark shades that "close" your eyes when put on the bottom.
Marta Grzywnowicz its because in Asia having a slight puffiness just under the eye is considered cute and youthful so many women enhance it
there's a thing called 'aegyo sal' that Koreans find cute which is the small eye pocket under the eye that looks very vibrant
