That is really cool design and great woodworking with limited tools. How did you learn to do the rope weaving?

Appreciate it! This was my first time rope weaving, just practiced a few times and went with something I thought looked good!

Cool design, especially the weaving on the bottom. Adding more hand tool work will help tighten up those joints. A couple planes will work wonders.

great design, but left like that, the tabletop will definitely warp.

I like it, you should probably make a video or videos on the weaving

Great videos! Really enjoyed - loved this latest table. I don't know that you need narration, but more piano! It is terrific accompaniment to the video, but know that is you doing the playing as well as the building makes it really unique and somehow makes both parts more enjoyable.

I think it is a fantastic design. I love seeing woodworking where there is a risk. One question I have is how stable is the top. When you were assembling it to the base I was thinking that with humidity changes it might come apart, but then you wedged it, and I doubt that is going anywhere. But is the front to back stability good? if it wobbles a little I bet a short cross brace (perhaps through the tenon mortised to the top) would work well.
    All-in-all a solid piece.

good one, please use sharper tools and tighter fitter, Joints lack that crisp look, which fine woodworking is all about.

I look forward to seeing the workmanship on your furniture. Factually I don't agree. The workmanship is quite good. But more to the point, this isn't a competition. We don't need to submit to the furniture police. Believe it or not, negative comments from random dudes on the internet are not really the point. So my suggestion is put yourself out there. Make a video of you building something. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes. You might learn something.
