I’m about halfway to your level, I can do several different joints, but I’m not combining them quite like this. You’re inspiring! I do recommend that newer woodworkers practice joinery by making boxes. You can make so many complicated joints and use scrap wood, or smaller pieces of quality wood at lower costs in smaller shops.
@@neurofunk2731 tip #1 - just start. Start with what you have and build slow. I don’t know what you’re level of experience is, if you’ve got some tools, some skills, or if you’re starting at the very beginning. Watch You Tube videos on basics (especially safety). Work with salvage wood, pine, pallet wood, whatever you can get easily. Get inexpensive tools, but not super cheap junk. You don’t need a $3500 Sawstop tablesaw, a $400 Dewalt is a good start. Network with other woodworkers. Hopefully you’re in a place where you can do some of these things. Ask me anything…
Hi mate thanks for the reply, I'm scared of failing to be honest but I'm going to start with boxes. I have basic tools and know pretty much most safety stuff. Might do a box with rabbit joints first. Shall I get a tablesaw or mitre saw first mate? A tablesaw is more versatile right? Sorry for such a long message 😞
@@neurofunk2731 100% get the tablesaw. You can make an inexpensive crosscut jig, miter jig, and many other jigs. My tablesaw is the heart of my shop, and even when I had smaller, cheaper tablesaws, every project used it. A decent miter saw is great to have, also a planer and jointer, but you can make jigs for your tablesaw that will do much of what these tools will do. Buy tools as you can, and don’t forget most of those tools need blades, bits, etc. and those can really add up. Speaking of which, you’ll need a decent combo blade, rip blade, and then a dado stack for the tablesaw. You’ll probably want an upgraded miter gauge too. Make sure your tablesaw comes with an easy to use, accurate fence. Then take the time to adjust everything so it’s accurate. There’s a ton of videos out there to help.
At this point it's pretty much showing off.
And I'm loving every minute of it. All these individual joints are an accomplishment on their own. I’ve never seen a plunge base for an oscillating tool, that thing is sweet!
😢 amazing talent. I'm so envious of a Woodworking Shop like that😊
Your attention to detail is fantastic, which is why I found it impressive that you clean the joint, while installing the corner struts, before everything is assembled, great work once again
Gli incastri che riesce a fare mi lasciano sempre senza parole. Complimenti.
Apart from your excellent skills and equipment i quite like the good camera work with no music and the sped up workshop noises. Its very satisfying to watch high level of skill without all the extras.
Hi mate I really want to get into it, any other tips u can share with me please?
