Joining Air-force Special warfare to try to be a CCT after graduation, i'm a senior right now and love watching these Air-force Special warfare interviews.
Less short men have been shot in the head in combat. They are way better at using cover! Statistically, being 5'4" has giant advantages in a warzone. 😎
Peaches is such a good effin dude. I've been subscribed to Ones Ready for the past 3+ years and so glad I got to finally hear "the rest of the story" here. Great episode!
Such awesome questions yet again Mike. I've been watching for almost as long as you've been doing the show and am always impressed at how you manage to ask stuff I'd both want to ask and stuff I'd never think to ask but would love to know the answer to.
Loved having our JTAC on site in AFG. He worked directly with our platoon FO and man....the improvement on calling and getting it done was incredible!!
I literally discovered that CCT dude in a 2006 french book about American SF Irak 2003-2005 Really interesting to hear him and his friends on Ones Ready
Damn good podcast Mike, I got turned on to you by watching episode 5 of SRS. I love your style and demeanor, I'm learning a lot and adjusting fire on my mobile podcast. Keep up the good work bro, CHEERS!
This was a phenomenal interview. Thank you for having these really fascinating stories of people doing very interesting things like a combat weatherman.
Two things: 1-This was a particularly excellent episode. 2-Somehow I've mysteriously been unsubscribed from this channel. Resubbed as soon as I clocked this but heads up Mike.
1:55:02 A10 & AC130… still the best at the job after being around for 60+ years. Trillions of cumulative $ spent on developing and building F35, 22, etc and the old proven designs still dominate!!
You ever hear the one about you only give your stupidity away once you open your mouth? Any ground conflict with troops needing close air support these would be the choice aircraft.
Jared is such a down to earth man, he's almost seems unassuming, and then you realize that hey, this really isn't probably somebody you wanna mess with. Very cool interview. Listening before bed. Mike's voice is so soothing. It's like wearing a warm blanket, if that makes any sense at all, lol. The woman that gets to wake up to the sweet nothings in that voice is one of the luckiest women on Earth, not to mention he's just such an awesome guy, intelligent and handsome to boot. I'm totally fan girling here, lol 😅. Moment of realization though, Jordan Peterson brought up something about what makes a good man. It was something to the effect of "a good man is a very dangerous man that has his dangerous ability under control. Mike and a lot of his guests make me think of this quote a lot. We definitely need more men like these in the world. I don't understand the push of modern society to feminize men. Toxic masculinity is a guy that beats his wife or bullies someone weaker then him, not just a man being a man. Masculinity is not toxic, and it's very much needed in this world. It's those good masculine men that are the protectors from the weak, toxic men. This and podcasts like it give me hope for our society that real men still exist.
WTF is with the Bots in the Comment section lol 😂 Also awesome Video and I’m glad we god some USAF guys on here but then reminds me why I was trying to get to RASP while in the Air Force lol 🤦♂️
When you’re on the ground, surrounded. Nothing sounds better than the red dragon. That’s Puff boys and girls. The magic dragon. 1967 - 1969 Viet F’in NAM baby !! Texas. Fight. United. Bueno. Good.

Love to hear that - Keep at it!
I don't think enough people appreciate how hard this man must've worked to make it in SOF at his height.
Right! I wish he’d go more in depth about it
Not really, ton's of short men in sof.... Really comes down muscle endurance/muscle mass and cardio for a body type not height.

“Was she good looking” tears rolling down my cheeks, Mike.

As a civilian “know nothing”, the air combat controllers have really caught my attention - dudes don’t get enough credit, perhaps that’s by design

The Air Force sent me to Ft Lost in the woods in Missouri to train with grunts and jar heads . Heavy equipment school.
We need more ruff around the edges men
Thanks for this Mike!! I needed something to watch while I do cardio tonight. This will do it….

A-10 and AC-130 would both be useless in a war against anyone but villagers living in mud huts.

Bombadeer snowmobile engine 503 cubic centimeters has around Eighty horsepower but it's the most reliable snowmobile engine ever made
What’s the difference between a forward observer, JTAC, TACP, and CCT?
there is only 1 reason that Nellis O-6 went along with storytime....He had stars in his eyes. So glad I'm retired

PLUS what ever happened to the Nuke Tech from the AF, that episode was taken down very fast..
I’m guessing OP SEC for some reason.

love that Peaches didn't bite on the anti-queer, anti-genocide-protest nonsense, a class act
