    Been watching all of your videos because I've been using Suavecito and want to explore different pomades. I just bought Shear Revival Crystal Lake, really excited to see how things go after doing some digging about the optimal water-based pomade. Your vids help a lot, thanks Pomp!

    I used bonafide fibre pomade and it came out well.

    You say don't bother with fiber pomades. Does this mean you not too hot for Admiral's fiber product?

    • @reubenyang5184
      @reubenyang5184 9 лет назад +2

      Yeah remembered him saying how good admiral was

    • @joeboxerrr
      @joeboxerrr 9 лет назад +2

      Yeah I can only remember him liking Cool Grease Fiber which wasn't really even a fiber pomade

    • @danrivers1949
      @danrivers1949 9 лет назад +1

      Those products work! It's just the fiber aspect of them is just a gimmick so they just work as a regular pomade

    Fiber pomade isn't really made for the pompadour hairstyle. It's made more fore quiffs and modern cuts, I'd also say that fiber pomades don't really work in fine hair.

  • @jacko717
    @jacko717 9 лет назад

    James take a look at Pomp & Co Hair Cream, works well for loose finger-styled pomps and side-parts (just my opinion of course.)

    I use traditional oil pomade but i put gel on my comb and then I comb my hair so I can get more volume and hold. but choose the right gel for it.

    *Nice vid, but why do you only mention pompadours, as if they're the only hairstyle out there known to those that use pomades, clay, or wax?? It's always good to look beyond the norm, but hey, to each their own...*

      DementedMafiaMinds This channel is The Pomp. It's only about that hairstyle, and this video was made for fans of the hairstyle to understand which hair products are good for that look and what isn't.

    Hi. I have dry hair. I'm using a repair shampoo.
    But I wonder what kind of product should I use to avoid getting dry again.
    Also is there any kind of product that make my hair healthier instead of dry?
    Thank you in advance.

    • @imjustsaying6477
      @imjustsaying6477 6 лет назад +1

      Oscar Anibal Hernandez use sulfate free shampoo or use conditioner...if that doesnt work,use hair tonic...Dont shampoo your hair everyday or too often because some shampoo remove the natural oil that your hair need....

    • @oscaranibalhernandez8590
      @oscaranibalhernandez8590 6 лет назад

      +I'm just saying. Thanks for the response.
      Sulfate free shampoo is the repair shampoo my barber recommended.
      I can say it is working my hair is getting shiny and silk. The problem is that the sides are still dry. Maybe it will take more time to catch up with the rest of my hair so I will keep using the shampoo but any other tips are welcome.
