Hey Robin. I have been waiting for you to do a brand battle with these 2 clays for a very long time and I am glad that you love these products. I myself have been using Flagship for a couple of months now and I think it is a really solid product, especially within the UK weather where you always have to fight the wind and rain(the struggle is real). Thanks Robin. I personally have the Arcadian Clay Pomade at home. When I use the Blumaan styling meraki as a pre styler and the Arcadian clay pomade as a post styler, it's a killer combo for me. I suggest that you do a product review on the new Blumaan CAVALIER CLAY. Would love to hear your opinion. Keep up the great work!

Soepmonster96 rough is for summer cause of its dryness while cavalier belong to winter because of its damping, rough provided way better with volume and texture however the other possibly created layers on your hair.
I had both. Bluuman product some of it is really overrated. Dont really like cavalier clay tho.

Now Question: Have you ever tried any of products from Brooklyn Grooming? 2nd Q?: have you thought about more fashion videos as well, but a bit different, daily outfit styles and hair to match?I'm hetero, married 25yrs 18yo daughter... nearly 50 still skateboard, longboard and surf and go to great lengths to keep myself in shape and looking and feeling young. Could be good. Probably not for a while though.
A way you could make the scoring better would be to have more points awarded for each particular category. An example would be to have smell equal 1 point, and styling equal 3, or something along those lines.

Is Arcadian good for people like me with thick straight hair and you just want to give it a messy out of bed texture look? Hair is like 3 1/2 inches long, i think? Not quite sure it’s a decent length for styling.

can you apply arcadian clay pomade to damp hair? for wet look?
For someone with a medium length hair (down to the jaw), that is very thick, dense, straight and coarse (think asian hair), and that wants something that can give a smooth slick look but with texture and definition, which one of these 2 would you recommend ?

I'm not sure how comparative they are but if you had to, would you choose Mister Pompadour's Beeswax Paste or would you choose the Arcadian Clay? I just bought MP Paste today and I'm wondering if I made mistake in doing so.

Trying to decide against the Northern Lights clay and the Arcadian because the arcadian has a new formula for this year. Or i may just go shear revival clay and regular pomade...can you use Northern lights first then go in with a scoop of crystal lake after? Or that would defeat the purpose and just be wasting the northern lights clay...im new to natural clays and trying to decide which one to get and not wanting to waste any products or money

I just got my arcadian clay pomade and as soon i opened the jar, is got a huge scent wave of ginger. Its very strong i wish they lowered the scent.

Is arcadian similair to daimon barber clay pomade? I have thin hair and don't seem to get the desired hold with daimon barber clay pomade.
Tech Proof its actually better. If you use the right amount (2 scoops min) you'll get a nice firm hold
Arcadian is a lot creamier than DB.

Hey Robin the Reason why arcadian considers them self firm hold is because its meant to be applied like a pomade, using 2-3 scoops. If you use it like that then you get a much firmer hold!
syed raza thats why companies really need to be more specific in their directions. Most of the directions are just way too general.
Put too much of Arcadian and you end up with a greasy mess. It's just not a firm hold by any mean, especially in the pomade world. Medium, AT BEST.
Tsar Marklovski it comes from a pomade market. It's common knowledge to use 2-3 scoops as opposed to salon products
Not if you want volume, 2-3 scoops with fine hair is a terrible idea.
Quentin Alexandre that's impossible I'm pretty sure it has no oils, you just gotta make sure your hair is clean. I put in 2-3 scoops and my hair looks amazing
Hey robin i just one to share my experience using arcadian clay. I think arcadian clay perform medium to firm hold in my hair type (fyi i have fine/normal straight hair like you and using about 1-2 scoop) and last longer than i expected. Compare to clay that i've tried in the past such as dynmatie clay from by villain and claymation from hdf i can tell that this one provide long lasting hold and perform better than those 2 product i mention.
Robin do you have another channel for your lifestyle? I'd find it interesting to see what you do away from the cam.

I love Arcadian clay, best clay I've ever tried and I have tried all of the best on the market. I own dead sea clay and I find it to be a little bit to heavy for my hair - you can't get the same volume as in arcadian. If you have thin hair and you want full volume and textured looks, get arcadian.
Zlatan Ibra I have kinda thin/normal hair and rn I'm using p&p putty but I HATE it, it has virtually no hold, and it just doesn't work for me, do you think the Arcadian would be good for me? Thanks so much! :)
Landon The T. Rex I 100% sure it's gonna work for you. It's very versatile - that means that if you need more of a firm hold then just use more product. It's so light that even if you use more product, it's not gonna weigh your hair down. And the best thing is that you get a lot of volume from your first scoop - and it's gonna last you all day.
David Lin the thing is that a heavier clay (such as Dead Sea clay) on thin hair is just gonna weigh you hair down, even if you've blow dry beforehand. Having thicker hair is a blessing in my opinion since most products are for that type of hair and styling is a lot easier. Of course other factors come in to play, but in essence that's how it plays

Hey, have you tried out Apothecary 87? Ive been meaning to switch products as my own aren't holding up so well to what Im striving for. But it's apparently Robins best clay product, however, when I've seen it in videos it didnt look like it was being held up to its status. I also cant find ANY reviews on the product.
But with Arcadia, every time Ive seen it be applied it looks great. Airy, textured, and put together with nearly no fly aways. Ive heard the scent is horrid though.
