- Time to jump back to early April, first weekend with the new bike & keen to get out on some gravel roads in our backyard here in the South West of Western Australia. Taking it pretty easy to get a feel for the bike, following a couple of trails we put together to ride through the Ferguson Valley, Grimwade to Balingup, Nannup & back across the scarp towards Bunbury.

Thanks for watching. 🤙
Can I ask why you didn’t change over to the 1290 SAS/R? I saw that you tested the Tiger, but could see any reference to the latest KTM. Enjoying your videos.
@@scotthuxtable5121 thanks for watching We did actually also test ride the KTM 1290r and the Harley Pan America both really great bikes but at complete opposite ends of the scale the KTM is super off-road oriented just like the 1090 was and we really wanted something more comfortable for adventure touring where the Harley is more on road and not as off road capable as the BMW in our opinion For what we are looking to do we think the BMW has the best road touring along with great off-road also. I think if we weren’t TwoUp then I would have stuck with the KTM 1290 as it is an amazing bike that for sure. We really are spoilt for choice these days with so many bikes on the market. Cheers
