Thanks for this build, It's my home ship (except for space combat missions). It's worth having an outpost with a large landing pad and a hab so you can dump your resources (on the floor) as it will overfill the inventory of all your other ships. I like the no-frills, cargo hauler appearance.
Nice build. I managed to make a cargo ship that holds around 42k, but it unfortunately has quite a few ladders, lol. Plus, it's got maybe 3 maneuverability, but it does have full crew compacity, 150 speed, and 30 lightyear range. It's got every single hab including the bigger ones and has a lot of turrets on it like this one. I can't add anymore parts though, since it is at my limit.
LOL! Thank you for the inspiration. Did you try this using the White Dwarf 3015 for 180 speed? The "Angry Turtle" will be my next build. I have a speedy battleship already that made such short work of the Crimson Fleet as to be embarrassing, so that end is covered. (I wish I could show you pictures, it's a beaut. Looks like something the Klingons would build.) Now I need to build something that is designed not for speed and offense, but for cargo. You have given me the necessary direction to take this.

Your starfilled RUclips channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites for content. A couple of videos that you did about weapon systems are really good... But one of the things that I'm having a hard time with is figuring out the different types. I'm having a hard time distinguishing the difference between the laser. And the particular. Energy type of weapons. There's nothing in the description that actually separates. The types even though there perks that give benefits.. Like for example, if I put a point into energy weapons. Does it also upgrade particular weapons? The whole thing is super convoluted.
yes it's complicated the easiest way to recognise particle beam weapons is by checking damage, they have equal damage to hull and shield and no energy damage skill only works on lasers.
The Galleon S204 (1,480 @ 312 mass) is nice for building as it has connections on all sides, but the Galleon S203 (1200 cargo @ 252 mass) has actually a better cargo to mass ratio. So if you want to squeeze in some more you may want to use it instead. The best cargo to mass ratio actually is on the smaller types with 210 cargo per 44 mass, but its hard to fit enough in asyou can only attach them at the sides so you need some other parts to support them. I just built a big cargo ship with over 100k cargo and the limiting factors are ship size, landing gear, object limit and grav drive. Ship size and landing gear are not really an issue as you can build quite big and you can use landing gear with 4 thrust each. If you build with Galleon S203 only then you you are limited by the object limit where the ship edito prevents you from placing more parts and if you build with Galleon S204 only your ship becomes to heavy even for the best grav drive. So for the "best" cargo ship you need a combination of both. Regarding habs it's worth to mention that Nova Galactic's workshop and science lab habs have two extra passenger slots for each. All of them have unique features. I think the Deimos workshop has a reasearch station, so if you don't need the pharma station you can get away without the science lab hab. Regarding engines you can consider using the White Dwarf 3015 as it has 180 top speed. Regarding landing gear, you don't have to put all off them under the ship, there is some great side mounted landing gear with 4 thrust at the cost of 3 mass.

If you want to do a multi-level ship without ladders, look at the Cabot cockpit. It has stairs, and an upstairs and downstairs entrance. Use hopetech hab spines on one level so that habs that can spawn ladders aren't spawned vertically adjacent. If you need to cross over, there's a novatech spine that can connect habs horizontally without spawning ladders. These parts can also enforce loops in hab arrangements, as habs will still spawn their usual doors, but these connectors will enforce additional doors. The hab connectors add some size to the ship that could otherwise be cargo fill, but they can enforce a specific floor plan.

White dwarf 3015 engine is best choice here since it is kind of "bugged", giving highest top speed in game, even among A class engines.
What about getting rid of 4 side turrets and putting more power to other 2 weapons or more engines?
I got this ship to 90k cargo with side landing gear and some perks. Also, take a 30LY ship and run to every system then you’ll never need your grav drives ever again.
very cool design! I am wondering how are you able to gain such crazy high speed. Does it have to do with the mass of the ship?
engine type only
around what level are all the parts avalible and if required what level of starship design is needed?
reactor is lvl 60 and most parts design 4
@@angryturtlegaming Doesnt that vastly reduce the use of this ship? if you can only build it at the very tail end of your playthrough? would you consider making one for those in the lvl 10-20 range?
@@Forsparda for lower level I have two builds: Starfield Razor Leaf Quadruple The Power for Just 70k Credits, Level 12 and No Skills Required.

Just to clarify the auto turrets are able to fire all round as long as they are in range? No need to target lock?
fire at any ship marked red on your compas if it's in front of them, they can turn only about 45 degrees
I wish trading at space stations with freighters like this was actually a thing
my thoughts seeing this: "She'll make point five past lightspeed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself"
In other words, she ain't pretty but she flies fast and has enough firepower to back that up XD
"How much cargo can you carry?"
"Yes"
All of it.
Do you know the total cost for the ship?
around 700k
Just only 1 question... How do you "save" it? I don't have the function in my PC it seems. Can somebody provide a solution? Thanks in advanced.
when you press tab to exit it asks you if you want to save, you can't save if any flight check is red
Are the PBO-175 Auto Helion Beams really the best in terms of DPS? I've heard the Vanguard Obliterator Autocannons might be better because you can place 6 of them.
The Vanguard Obliterator Autocannons are beast
4x175 vs 6xVanguard 175 will do about 17dmg extra per second not much difference about 4% more overal damage from 175
@@angryturtlegaming Thanks for clearing that up! Love the Vanguards but gotta get that max damage! *modifies ship for 9,002nd time*
Edit: Ah, I just noticed you already had a video out covering weapon DPS. I need to pay attention more lol
How did you get that reactor it doesn't show up for me
it does after lvl 50
@@angryturtlegamingI am level 50 with Piloting 4 and Star Design 4 and still don't see it
opens @ lvl 72 @@7CitiesGaming
I built a ship off this guide because other than speed the new game plus ship kinda blows. I didn’t have starship design level 4 though so had to compromise. I am now the proud Captain of my custom built ship TheFuckening
I need that reactor. I use nothing but PAs, shields and engine. that would be great for me.
I wish I could share the picture of the one my husband made in honor of you and this video..
Why not put turrets on the underside as well?
there is landing gear
@@angryturtlegaming Wonder if we can move the landing gear close to the center line from the edges. Hmm I do like the bridge and the Nav table internally. Will have to see if i can modify slightly this no ladders/maze build. Thanks.
Thanks for the video.
Just built this. Put the dwarf engine on it. All in, 720k credits. I'm broke!
I hit Z on the computer and weapons do not rotate. Other modules will flip but not weapons
only turrets can rotate
Im enjoying the E:D Python I built.
What player level is required?
60 and quite a lot of credits, but you can make a level 30 version with just a little less cargo and add later (main limitation is grav drive as weight is reducing the range and below 22 you will not able to get to further systems)
i’m so glad you’re playing Starfield.I used to watch your fallout 76 videos and they were great because of how informative you are. also, your accent and your sense of humour make me laugh. with all that said I have to say that ship is ugly lol.
I've only just noticed this but how is you Cockpit 49,752 when mine is 54,174?
What you do to lower the price?
do you have commerce skill?
@angryturtlegaming I think it's something to do with the UC quests probably. I believe I'm halfway through the UC Faction and the price of that cockpit is now 51,465.
So it might be at your price when I finish the UC Faction.
Built the ship and I love it :) Though my rear turrets is not turnable with Z, I have no Idea why. Anyone have some suggestions??
are you sure you placed turrets and not regular gun?
@@angryturtlegaming I need to check, only saw one type though so I might (of course I was on the wrong planet :p)
I can’t find these turrets in the vendor did they change this for Xbox?
every part is level locked, you're probably too low level
I don't find having crafting in my ship to be needed, sure it was good to have at the start but late in the game and I haven't touched it in like 30 levels.
Did you scrap frontier for this or just steal some random ship?
I usually steal a ship
how do you get the j-52 grave drive?
it all unlocks when you level up
