Hi Roger, is noise reduction handled separately for each channel?
I had a slight "pressure" (occurs when something is missing that you would expect) in my left ear when the bird was heard at 0:21.
    Thanks for the Test.
    Greetings Andreas

I did the same NR to both channels, so if DR do something different, idk. I had to watch it again and I could not feel it.
Thanks for watching and commenting, Andreas.

Sorry, newie here, do you make noise reduction in post? What do you use for that, Izotope RX? Or there is some option on a recorder?
Just get H1e, and I feel like it catches more noise than even my smartphone mic

I do reduce noise in post. I use Davinci Resolve and it have really good tools for fixing the sound.
H1E and other cheaper sound recorders is not the best with the internal preamp, but it just need some fix in post for good sound.
Be close to the sound for best quality. You tried it for field recording or other?

@@rjfotovideo I use it to make sound effects for games, recording ambience and direct sounds like footsteps, hits and other random stuff. I started with using smartphone for that, and thought getting a dedicated recorder will give me better sound

A dedicated recorder is really great for recording both ambience and direct sound. I have made some but still need to make more
