      @@cockus4192 Seb is getting that Merc power in the Aston next year! hopefully they can get a few tenths closer to Merc and have a car that can challenge for wins, would be nice to see a close fight like we had most of 2017 and 2018.

      Sebastian didn't change. He got 2nd the race after and won the race after that.
      After Belgium 2018 Ferrari decided to develop the car in a direction that didn't suit him.
      Last year from Singapore to Mexico he was superb. Where the car fit him.
      Ferrari is a mess of a team, stop eating the narrative the media feeds you.
      Most likely, Seb will shine next year. He should be able to capitalize where Perez hasn't been able to this season.

      @@azapro911 Being English I was happy Hamilton won but Seb is a genuinely nice guy so it did hurt a little too. It annoys me to see the newer fans constantly downplay Hamilton's and Seb's achievements, they're legends of F1.

    I'm still surprised that TV did not show that Vettel had a bit of his wing broken before he crashed which was most likely the reason

    • @AboDH1EM
      @AboDH1EM 3 года назад +2

      Really?!!? then why did he say it was his mistake at 6:17??

    • @qwerty-or1yg
      @qwerty-or1yg 3 года назад +4

      @@AboDH1EM Because it's ferrari. Vettel just saying it so ferrari don't look that bad. Data probably "looked fine" in 2018 Germany just like this year where Vettel broke off his wing and ferrari said "Look fine". There's even a video footage from 2018 shown a piece of carbon flying off Vettels front wing which led to understeer. TV and Ferrari just hid it/did not show it to the world.

    • @AboDH1EM
      @AboDH1EM 3 года назад +2

      @@qwerty-or1yg Sorry, this argument might've stood ground at the time of that event. However, based on later performances from vettel, I can assure you it was, as he puts it, his own mistake.

    • @verzajr.2027
      @verzajr.2027 3 года назад +1

      He lost the endplate, that doesn't change much. If anything it causes understeer, but he crashed because he lost the rear.

    • @Drayenko
      @Drayenko 3 года назад +1

      @@verzajr.2027 Taking into account the conditions, the shit strategy, and Lewis catching up, it all adds up to the mistake.
      While it is a mistake, it's not unrelated to everything else. We see race after race how vulnerable and prone to change these cars are. Having a broken front wing has its undeniable effects. Plus nobody told him about it, which is nonsense from Ferrari.

  • @azapro911
    @azapro911 3 года назад +8

    The first turning point came the day before, as Hamilton leaned next to his broken Mercedes, with a seemingly open goal for Vettel to extend his championship lead in a superior Ferrari. "I can either roll over and let this title go, or fight for all I'm worth and see if it makes him blink." He chose the latter.

      @@Drayenko errrr, no. 2018 was far better from a driver standpoint. And yes, I recognize that Pirelli changed the tire that so happened to be perfect for Redbull and Vettel won 9 races in a row, etc. Mercedes stopped developing the car in 2013 by half season and Redbull didn't. In 2018, Ferrari had the faster car and Hamilton still made the difference

      Calm down buddy, have you ever heard of Jim Clark, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher? I'd rank all 3 of them higher than Lewis. Clark no. 1, Senna / Schumacher equal second, Lewis in 3rd all time, Fangio 4th, Prost 5th, Lauda 6th.
