mate seb changed that day. i miss him. i hope he gets back to winning ways soon.
Vettel since that day is the same as Lewis of 2011
great days still are awaiting for him
@@cockus4192 Seb is getting that Merc power in the Aston next year! hopefully they can get a few tenths closer to Merc and have a car that can challenge for wins, would be nice to see a close fight like we had most of 2017 and 2018.
Sebastian didn't change. He got 2nd the race after and won the race after that.
After Belgium 2018 Ferrari decided to develop the car in a direction that didn't suit him.
Last year from Singapore to Mexico he was superb. Where the car fit him.
Ferrari is a mess of a team, stop eating the narrative the media feeds you.
Most likely, Seb will shine next year. He should be able to capitalize where Perez hasn't been able to this season.
It was a legacy defining season for the pair of them, winner take all. The toll it took on the loser was enormous.
@@azapro911 Being English I was happy Hamilton won but Seb is a genuinely nice guy so it did hurt a little too. It annoys me to see the newer fans constantly downplay Hamilton's and Seb's achievements, they're legends of F1.
Heartbreaking to watch, but still a great video, very well done. Who's the man smiling that appears when Lewis lifts the trophy? I couldn't see much more than the smile
That smiling man is Ayrton Senna. Here's the pic: s2.glbimg.com/r6CQ6_s_w7rr4QaJJniLx1T9028=/0x0:900x900/984x0/smart/filters:strip_icc()/s.glbimg.com/es/ge/f/original/2017/05/01/senna_stock.jpg
I'm still surprised that TV did not show that Vettel had a bit of his wing broken before he crashed which was most likely the reason
Really?!!? then why did he say it was his mistake at 6:17??
@@AboDH1EM Because it's ferrari. Vettel just saying it so ferrari don't look that bad. Data probably "looked fine" in 2018 Germany just like this year where Vettel broke off his wing and ferrari said "Look fine". There's even a video footage from 2018 shown a piece of carbon flying off Vettels front wing which led to understeer. TV and Ferrari just hid it/did not show it to the world.
@@qwerty-or1yg Sorry, this argument might've stood ground at the time of that event. However, based on later performances from vettel, I can assure you it was, as he puts it, his own mistake.
He lost the endplate, that doesn't change much. If anything it causes understeer, but he crashed because he lost the rear.
@@verzajr.2027 Taking into account the conditions, the shit strategy, and Lewis catching up, it all adds up to the mistake.
While it is a mistake, it's not unrelated to everything else. We see race after race how vulnerable and prone to change these cars are. Having a broken front wing has its undeniable effects. Plus nobody told him about it, which is nonsense from Ferrari.
This is amazing. Quite possibly one of my favorite races in F1 I’ve watched. Beautifully edited
The first turning point came the day before, as Hamilton leaned next to his broken Mercedes, with a seemingly open goal for Vettel to extend his championship lead in a superior Ferrari. "I can either roll over and let this title go, or fight for all I'm worth and see if it makes him blink." He chose the latter.
Ahh i know how good this will be, but it will hurt so much
Legendary race, masterful driving by the greatest of all time. 2018 second half of the season was the best more consistent driving I've ever seen
That award goes to Vettel in 2013. Nothing comes even close.
But yes, Lewis was superb.
@@Drayenko errrr, no. 2018 was far better from a driver standpoint. And yes, I recognize that Pirelli changed the tire that so happened to be perfect for Redbull and Vettel won 9 races in a row, etc. Mercedes stopped developing the car in 2013 by half season and Redbull didn't. In 2018, Ferrari had the faster car and Hamilton still made the difference
Calm down buddy, have you ever heard of Jim Clark, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher? I'd rank all 3 of them higher than Lewis. Clark no. 1, Senna / Schumacher equal second, Lewis in 3rd all time, Fangio 4th, Prost 5th, Lauda 6th.
@@marcusaureliusantoninusaug2161 yes, I have, and I'd rank all of them below Hamilton. The most complete driver of all time. The speed of Senna with the consistency and racecraft of Prost, the wheel to wheel aggression of Schumacher, and the precision of Clark
Dani..Mate I had told you before..This made me cry man..Even on that day at that exact moment i got teary eyed with heavy heart which left a deep wound on heart as seb nd Ferrari fan..Seeing championship sleep away fron seb and races after that only added morr n more salt on that wound..
I hope Seb reinvigorate himself soon with Aston Martin..
It's been just too long not watching him on the top step pf podiums more often..
Thank you so much for sharing your experience as a Seb and Ferrari fan. I know this video hurts a lot for all of you, but this is the story. Future is not written yet so, maybe I have to make a video about Vettel and Aston Martin next year 😊

Pretty sad that these videos are actually better than the sport 😂
Epic video as always....can you maybe do a "Daniel Ricciardo champion in waiting" video of him from hrt to Renault and McLaren?
Pain
really sad and hurts to see how it's ended. I have to say that I don't want to watch this one this time. BTW respect to Lewis: luck and skill, amazing job
Still hurts 💔
Germany 2018 he lost all his confidence

Why is it poor Sebastian and not congrats Lewis on a miraculous drive? SMH
Im gonna go cry... fuck sake
Very happy 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
Bullshit win for Lewis, Bottas had that win. Team orders really suck.
Hamilton was leading, Bottas wasn't lol. Ferrari used team orders as well so what's the problem? Without those team orders, Kimi could have won the race after Vettel crashed
German parabolica lol crofty
