- Bishop Carlton D. Pearson died Sunday night at the age of 70 after a battle with cancer.
Pearson moved to Tulsa in 1971 and studied at Oral Roberts University. Oral Roberts then invited Pearson to join the World Action Singers on his nationally aired TV specials.

I went to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma too during 1991. I also attended Bishop Carlton Pearson's church Higher Dimensions Evangelistic Center and sang in its choir under Gary Oliver there at "Higher D" ( as we use to call it); I have met Bishop Carlton Pearson and He was one of the most anointed men of God I have ever had the blessing of hearing/see speak live. My heart is so broken. Bishop Carlton Pearson will be missed .Condolences to the family.
I went there too as a child, I remember Gary Oliver, I heard his son Gabriel passed away 😢

The "world of demons" refers to those who believed a false doctrine created by Carlton, his followers, NOT the followers of Jesus Christ who know there is a hell and heaven. Believers were not saddened by his passing because maybe it'll prevent others new to the fold from perishing.

Praying for the family. When I think of 1953,he was literally in his 20's when I was born and died at 70.It's so sad that he passed away.

I had the opportunity of knowing Carlton personally for many years. We helped host Azusa in Durban in the 90s. I will always see Carlton as a man of God and Carmans' pastor. A brilliant teacher of the word of God.

I went to his church in the 80's and it was life-changing. Sad he strayed from the Bible at the end. My prayer is that he repented in the end.
How can someone who betrayed God and His Word rest in peace? I saw him speak at my church in the 1990s and he was a false teacher before he started teaching there was no hell so it shouldn’t be a surprise he started believing universalism and the absence of hell. Scripture speaks a lot about last days deception. Guard your self against false brethren. He was a perfect example of one.

You do not have to be Christian to go to heaven. God is not a Christian. In 2015 i died. I was on life support for 2 weeks. left my body. All i felt was love.There was judgedment. The literature on near death experiences proves that God does not care about labals. God is more concerned with our spiritual grow and how we treat each other. Christians are obsessed with Christian exceptionalism and are obsessed with the idea of an angry sadistic evil God whose only purpose for creating man is to torture his own creation in hell for every. I'm sorry that I cannot send condolences to a worker of iniquity that is responsible for many souls that will end up condemned. It's almost equivalent to mourning satan's death. If I love God,how can I truly love a leader, someone with earthly power, who hates God's Word??? If "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God...And God IS THE WORD...He hated God. We have to understand the Word doesn't say ALL of us belong to Him, but God calls some the "children of the devil" saying he's their father. It's a huge difference in me ministering the Word and this man. I have no real power. I hold no position. I have no ability to manipulate the masses. For the people that disagree, I am just unwillling to sugarcoat his actions and him as a person. God said we'll know them by their fruit. That man will definitely be the one who'll get the response "I know you not". I'm more concerned about those who are struggling and have questions that the devil is confusing opposed to those who committed an oath to the devil.

There is a Hell and Heaven, and he knows for sure now because he’s in hell. You can believe in heaven that’s in the Bible, but when God talks about Hell you don’t believe. You either believe the whole bible or none of it. You can’t go on what you feel are think. You go on what God says.

I met him a couple times through TBN and Melodyland where I was honored to sing at a couple of his events.....The Word of God is righteous and true......you can't undo scripture to fit your lifestyle when we are told to deny ourselves and follow Jesus.
Unfortunately, Pearson chose to establish his own version of the Gospel to preach a lifestyle contradictory to how God made man and woman. I only hope and pray if Pearson did repent of a lifestyle that God called out as an abomination. That someone standing by will come forth and share that final moment of grace that none of us deserve....for it's HIS kindness that calls us to repentance. Yes he was a kind hearted man, but we are nothing without a retentive heart that aligns ourselves with God's principle and purpose....very sad.

Condolences to his family. GOD'S Word is the Final Authority. God warns us in the Book of Revelation Not to add to His Word, nor Subtract, for if we do, there are Dire Consequences, if Repentance does not transpire. There is a Heaven to Gain, and a Hell, to Shun, and Jesus made it All Possible on the Cross of Calvary when He gave His life, for All who will Repent, Believe, and Receive, the Greatest Love Story Ever Told. God Does Not Send Anyone to Hell, rather, Those Who Reject the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Sends Themselves to Hell. God Planted His Son, Jesus, Paving the Way for our Salvation, and Jesus was Obedient to the Mission. Jesus Conquered Death, Hell, and the Grave on the Cross of Calvary...and because He lives, so can we. All it takes is Repenting, Believing, and Receiving, the Precious Gift of Salvation. And if we do, then when this temporary life is complete, we will escape that deplorable place called Hell, and enter into the Presence of God.

Good music but may it be understood that his message was not a new gospel message but rather a departure from Christianity and departure from the Bible to New Age religion that includes other gods. He departed from Christianity.
