This is what happens when read the scripture through the lens of your trauma. The work of inner healing is so important so that we do not reject the truth about eternity simply because it doesn’t make us “feel good” about the temporary, present circumstances of life that we find ourselves in. This a theology created from unanswered questions and unhealed wounds.
This is what happens when people actually BELIEVE the scripture, in particular those that talk about what Jesus accomplished at the cross, forgiving sin and redeeming all mankind. What you believe is religious cultism, which caused Paul to call the Galatians, "Foolish!" asking who had bewitched them. He would no doubt say the same to you.
I promise you.., God spoke to me about Pearson around the tender age of 15 or so in the mid 80’s. I was watching the Higher Dimensions broadcast one Sunday evening.., and while Pearson was preaching.., he paused and was speaking in tongue’s .., when GOD VERY CLEARLY SPOKE TO ME .., and said …, “that is not me, that is not my Holy Spirit!” I was stunned. I NEVER EVER mentioned those words to ANYONE for a couple of decades.. because I really liked Pearson.., and I tried my best to convince myself that I had not heard from God because I was so young as a believer .., but I KNEW with an unexplainable certainty.., it was God that spoke that word to me. Fast forward… when all the Carlton Pearson stuff began to come to light.. well over 20 years later.., the Holy Spirit reminded me what he said to me that day as a teenager about Pearson… so that I would know and acknowledge when the Holy Spirit speaks a thing.

Believable! I have heard this kind of sermon before but not from a man who use to know the truth, may God forgive you for what you are doing mr carlton. I love Carlton. He embodied the archetype of Christ amazingly. When you emerge with something different that leaves tradition and culture you will be crucified for your uniqueness. The same people you are trying to help will be the same people that will try to kill you. It’s a lonely road being a leader, you will be ridiculed and labeled as a heretic or a revolutionist when you try to reevaluate the system.
Carlton was one of the reasons I went into ministry and became a church planting pastor. I watched him preach at Higher Dimensions. So gifted, intelligent, funny and the brother can sing. Even today you can see his giftedness. One thing I can say is that he is sincere. But one thing I notice as recollects his past, his past beliefs, his past feelings. He doesn't appreciate his past, his past beliefs, his past convictions. While he is explaining his past faith it doesn't seem like he really knew Jesus but rather knew concepts. But even how he describes these concepts they are a little off. His interpretation seems jaded and biased as he explains scripture. Kind of a negative spin. Through the lense of a harsh church culture rather than through the lease of Jesus. This guy has been beat up by the church is what I sense. I don't sense He knows Christ or knew Christ and so he doesn't have discernment and spirit to properly interpret scriptures. We need a close relationship with Jesus to properly interpret scripture according to the Great Commission. He talks about grief and agony for 50 years of serving the Lord. Did he really know Jesus back then? I am sure he got beat up from criticism, I am sure it was tough to be so popular. I know the pain of pastoring, but not even close to what he has experienced. It seems like circumstances really shaken his faith. Death, tragedies, pain. Did he have a legalistic approach back in the day and got tired of it. He says he never felt like Gold liked him even in his hey day. That is very insightful right there. I would say Carltons doctrine is reactionary theology to an original theology that was more cultural than Christ driven. That is my observation from listening to him share his story. I feel like his foundation was a little off way back in the beginning and it progressively veered off track. Still love the guy and would love to hang out with him. Seems so passionate about studying, speaking and he seems like a very fun person. It causes us to really research what we believe and be able to give a response. If we believe in hell could we give a healthy and holy response? Carlton is a good challenge to test what we believe. But my heart goes out to him. I wonder if he ever knew the love of Jesus and the love of His Heavenly Father. I believe in hell both literal and figurative. I don't love Jesus to protect me from God. Jesus is the radiance of God's glory and a co-exisiting unified person of the Trinity.

Great insights. Although you did it in a gracious and non judgemental way, generally I'm leary when Christians begin speculating who is truly saved and who really knows the Lord. I think the biblical concept of us going from glory to glory is lost. Some forget that we're all workable n progress. They see someone drinking a beer and using some curse words and assume they probably "don't know the Lord." Well if a year ago they were in on drugs and nearly homeless, they may not be the be person you want them to be, but they're also not the person they used to be. That's the Christ be in them and the holy spirit at work on their life. Carlton does make so good points though. I was raised Catholic, and don't believe in Catholic theology now, be but at the same time know a lot about the Catholic church. All 66 books in the "protestant" bible, that many revere as infallible and inerrant we're all selected and canonized by the Catholic church. The Baptist and Assemblies of God weren't around 2000 years ago. I always found it interesting that some of these groups have a very negative view of Catholicism, but trusted a corrupt organization to select the inerrant books of the Bible. They added 7 more books as part of the counter reformation after Luther. Prior to that it was the 66 books that many Christian accept as the literal word of God.

God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear. Hell is a fear-driven belief to keep us in line. Why can’t love of doing right versus the fear of being wrong be our motivation. Jesus never mentioned hell.
When you research hell it was the Roman Empire, now transformed into Europe that created evolutions of the hell concepts. Everywhere they conquered the used “hell”, hades, and purgatory to entrap the people and make them docile.

The Apostles under the yoke of Christ took the Greek concept (remember Greek was the lingua franca) of hell, hades and expanded what they, i.e. Jews thought of hell. The Greeks taught the hell was a place void of life..When we read the New Testament many forget the writers are also dealing with Hebraic as well as Greek/Roman ideas. The Biblical Revelation goes from sheol, the grave, hades, the valley of Gehenna, tartaros, hell. Words used at different times, but to further explain places void of the presence of God. I know that Jerome was translating into Latin and so I thought it was initially the word, inferno that started all this mess. It doesn't say that only exclusive Jesus followers are saved it says "especially", as in it will be more satisfying and rewarding to know that we are saved NOW rather than waiting and walking into the kingdom empty-handed. Jesus is the savior of ALL. If everyone wasn't eventually saved then Adam's power to condemn the world was much greater than Christ's merit in sacrifice was in saving the world. Think about that for a few moments. How much more the reason to praise and love the Lord is this! If you have a manager at work that treats you with respect and is nice and provides instruction in a patient way, are you not more willing to work harder than someone who cracks the whip at you and tells you to hurry up and then threatens you if you don't do what you're told?! Then somewhere along the path he was deceived and began to preach and teach that "there was no hell." God gave us a "free will to choose between heaven or hell," or a relationship with God " The Bible clearly states: "That God is willing that all come to repentance." We must prayer that Pearson returns to God once again and renews his mind concerning the complete truth of Scripture.
God gave man free will. We send ourselves to heaven or hell. His made it almost impossible to go to hell through his mercy. If you end up in hell it’s solely on you.
We all stand together to pray for one of God's children who lost his way. In the Bible Jesus talked about hell more than heaven. Why? He did not want His children to go there. We who are His children know that our Heavenly Father never failed to tell us the truth, to warn us and to teach us to be vigilant. He wraps His loving arms around us, and insures us that he wraps the armor of God around us. If you believe in Christ, but not in an eternal hell, but in an outer darkness that is 'of an age',, how does that mean that you will go to eternal hell? I see no logic there. Eternal hell comes from paganism, and Augustine, and a French guy named Calvin, no Jew ever believed in it.
I got born again at age 10 because my father told me if I didn’t I’d burn in hell. Any time I asked him a question about the Bible he would tell me because the Bible says so. That wasn’t the answer for was looking for. I asked others and one lady cursed me and prayed I never find Jesus. Another called me ignorant and evil because I was questioning God. The spirit of God is kind patient peaceful self controlled loving but I’m not feeling the love from Christian’s.

I promise you.., God spoke to me about Pearson around the tender age of 15 or so in the mid 80’s. I was watching the Higher Dimensions broadcast one Sunday evening.., and while Pearson was preaching.., he paused and was speaking in tongue’s .., when GOD VERY CLEARLY SPOKE TO ME .., and said …, “that is not me, that is not my Holy Spirit!” I was stunned.
I NEVER EVER mentioned those words to ANYONE for a couple of decades.. because I really liked Pearson.., and I tried my best to convince myself that I had not heard from God because I was so young as a believer .., but I KNEW with an unexplainable certainty.., it was God that spoke that word to me.
Fast forward… when all the Carlton Pearson stuff began to come to light.. well over 20 years later.., the Holy Spirit reminded me what he said to me that day as a teenager about Pearson… so that I would know and acknowledge when the Holy Spirit speaks a thing.

Carlton was one of the reasons I went into ministry and became a church planting pastor. I watched him preach at Higher Dimensions. So gifted, intelligent, funny and the brother can sing. Even today you can see his giftedness. One thing I can say is that he is sincere. But one thing I notice as recollects his past, his past beliefs, his past feelings. He doesn't appreciate his past, his past beliefs, his past convictions. While he is explaining his past faith it doesn't seem like he really knew Jesus but rather knew concepts. But even how he describes these concepts they are a little off. His interpretation seems jaded and biased as he explains scripture. Kind of a negative spin. Through the lense of a harsh church culture rather than through the lease of Jesus. This guy has been beat up by the church is what I sense. I don't sense He knows Christ or knew Christ and so he doesn't have discernment and spirit to properly interpret scriptures. We need a close relationship with Jesus to properly interpret scripture according to the Great Commission. He talks about grief and agony for 50 years of serving the Lord. Did he really know Jesus back then? I am sure he got beat up from criticism, I am sure it was tough to be so popular. I know the pain of pastoring, but not even close to what he has experienced. It seems like circumstances really shaken his faith. Death, tragedies, pain. Did he have a legalistic approach back in the day and got tired of it. He says he never felt like Gold liked him even in his hey day. That is very insightful right there. I would say Carltons doctrine is reactionary theology to an original theology that was more cultural than Christ driven. That is my observation from listening to him share his story. I feel like his foundation was a little off way back in the beginning and it progressively veered off track. Still love the guy and would love to hang out with him. Seems so passionate about studying, speaking and he seems like a very fun person. It causes us to really research what we believe and be able to give a response. If we believe in hell could we give a healthy and holy response? Carlton is a good challenge to test what we believe. But my heart goes out to him. I wonder if he ever knew the love of Jesus and the love of His Heavenly Father. I believe in hell both literal and figurative. I don't love Jesus to protect me from God. Jesus is the radiance of God's glory and a co-exisiting unified person of the Trinity.

Great insights. Although you did it in a gracious and non judgemental way, generally I'm leary when Christians begin speculating who is truly saved and who really knows the Lord. I think the biblical concept of us going from glory to glory is lost. Some forget that we're all workable n progress. They see someone drinking a beer and using some curse words and assume they probably "don't know the Lord." Well if a year ago they were in on drugs and nearly homeless, they may not be the be person you want them to be, but they're also not the person they used to be. I always found it interesting that some of these groups have a very negative view of Catholicism, but trusted a corrupt organization to select the inerrant books of the Bible. They added 7 more books as part of the counter reformation after Luther. Prior to that it was the 66 books that many Christian accept as the literal word of God.

God gave us a "free will to choose between heaven or hell," or a relationship with God " The Bible clearly states: "That God is willing that all come to repentance." The bishop is fine, you need to start critically evaluating what you believe. If you cant do that, then what is the basis of that belief?

To call the bible the Word of God is blasphemy. It was written by fleshly men with their own confusions.
So Pearson whom I honor and will love always. God I hope He is with you… before the gospel on inclusions believed in hell but that no one was there or would be going to it? So it seemed to have progressed this thought. If I have him correctly understood. Or was it said by him that no Christian would enter? Does anyone know the story as to how he came to believe this? I have yet to watch this video in completion perhaps there will be insight.

@@franklinvibes7701 we are not made to live in fear , but we want too. You see how humans can destroy God’s beauty? Some of us even deletes the word of God in the name of love.. how can humans teach others what love is if Lord Jesus is the only way ??? We must trust Him with every single cell of our body in order to put “ the fear “ away . How can we do that ? Simple , Trust Him and what He says … if He says that there is a Hell , I accept it and I also accept that I am a sinner and because of Him I am away from that space . Don’t forget , Satan will try with all his powers to make us believe that we might found another way , that we are better than God .. and that s exactly what dragging us down .. if u don’t trust God , He’s not gonna force you .. yes we are all saved , The Bible also says that we can’t do anything in order to be saved , but if one of us think he is saved , than he should act like our Savior , that’s the proof that he is saved
