@@sahrotkro7048 in the old isometric games, power armor made you a walking tank, literally larger than anyone else save for the final boses. This mod really replicates that feeling extremely well.
@@PunishedRangto I did check the wiki for the sprites, and yeah they definitely make you bigger it's pretty cool and fits the fallout universe. Though I do like smaller power, but that's just a personal preference.

Imagine a platoon of soldiers chargin at you running like that wielding miniguns and other heavy firearms. Facing down the Enclave had to be a nightmare.
This is the best thing that has happened to power armor in FNV and F3 since it appeared in 3D. And a complete rework of textures by Stryder after that.

I think I'm in love with that sprint animation Because it's not just like.. running faster, it feels more like your character is actually throwing themselves forward with all the power that armor can muster in each stride
Absolutely amazing job you've managed to nail the old feel of the armor of Fallout 1&2 and make the armor feel like a lot more than just another piece of clothing.
Never thought i needed this mod because i thought the power armor looked ok without it being bulky but after my most recent falloyt 4 playthrough i realize this is badass

Incredible work! I know this is WIP - My only suggestion would be to make the strides and leg position a bit more squared up/mechanical. The showcased run speed is really fast in comparison to the animation, which isn't a huge deal, but at its current speed but the model is a bit too glide-y looking. Lot of hang time in the air, and the feet should look like they're pushing harder or meeting more resistance to compensate. I guess making everything look good with all possible permutations of animation frames is much easier said than done though :)
@Giovanni palacios Honestly I like this better, fallout 4 power armor is cool in the sense your a tank, but realistically power armor makes more sense to be less bulky and more maneuverable like an armored exoskeleton. But honestly just personal preference.

@Roberto The Super Mutant agreed but it’s frustrating when I have to mod FO4 into an RPG game,, I can fix gameplay features easily but the core aspect of the game is a bit of a dud, it makes modding fallout new vegas make more sense than modding fallout 4
I love the robotic-ish bulky sound effects when you run, jump and stomp. Really fitting for heavy power armors as they are indeed heavy and powered. Not to mention the neat Fallout 1 and 2-style looks of these armors for an old (but still extremely popular) Fallout game. A huge improvement to the vanilla.

Just discovered this mod, now im gonna think about it all day before i get home from work and slam it into my load order! This is what i always wanted out of a FNV mod right here
And to this day, it is folded into inventory, as before, like a jacket. It is necessary to finalize this point so that it is like in F4, so that you do not carry it with you, so that you have to get out of the armor and so that the armor stands without a person inside.
IMO Salvaged should be more clanky and heavy sounding and slimmer as it’s essentially just wearing the T45d power armor plating Arcades Tesla Advanced Power armor should sound alot more electric
always thought that's how spartans in halo should sprint. long af strides. imagine the kicks or shoulder bashes tho holy shit. 500+ kg running at 30 - 60 mph at you then we have fallout power armo which I think is even heavier, you got big ass dudes that should be running as fast as captain america, imagine a squad of that. they wouldn't have the same reaction time tho.
It's more make perfect sense to the lore, the size and the voice walking tank power armor and also we can see our left arms pip-boy have protection Power armor and that more make sense
One has to ask why stuff like this wasn't in the franchise since 3? Big difference between wearing a trenchcoat and some armour under it and massive metal plating with servomotors...
I only wish the sprinting looked more like a linebacker getting set to obliterate someone than a majestic deer frolicking through a meadow but i absolutely don’t hate it, if I think about it long enough I can accept it as equally cool

If Fallout New Vegas get's a remastered edition anytime soon, I just wish that it has Mod Inclusion, like Fallout 4 & Skyrim.
