@@ssk.stqxzz i played even 1 and 2,new vegas is the best game,but fallout 4 power armor is superior. People dislike ot because they have problems with the fusion cores,i currently have 61 spare on lvl 36 with 8 suits of power armor available. Its easy if youre smart
Love every Fallout games, but in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. These power armour just like normal clothes but with buff strength and better defence. In Fallout 4 you really wear a mechanical metal suit with weight. I remember carrying 4, 5 sets of power around for fixing and trading. But in Fallout 4 it works like vehicles, near more time and fusion core to carry these things to carry around, but I love it.
Power armor in 4 is true to the original power armor in 1 and 2, both graphically (from intro cutscenes and in-game sprites) and functionally (superior damage reduction) Actually, Bethesda is the one who both nerfed power armor in 3 and brought back its glory in 4.
In my head, I'd like to think that in Fallout 3 & New Vegas, they were using an experimental light power armor and then by the time in Fallout 4, they started to use the actual power armors because it was better.
The way power armor is described in cano fits squarely between these extremes. It's canonically as flexible as wearing no armor at all, but requires no fusion core as it has a built-in power supply.
F3 And FV Power Armor Is Real Armor. (Like Stormtrooper Armor.) F4 And F76 Power Armor Are Mech Suits. (Like Tony Starks Mark I, Built Like Tanks.) Completely Different Concepts.

Fallout 4 have many flaws, but their Power Armors aren't one of them.

Preference. I wish they’d both exist. They both exist in-universe. But never both have existed in-game.
