DND!?!?!? Awwww yeah, nerds unite! But that's dope for real. I haven't played in a hot minute but I still listen to All Things D&D from time to time. Good look!
Leg-guy deserves a confidence booster. Maybe he's been told too many things about his leg but he's a chill guy, good looking, and dresses just fine, but he's always self-deprecating.
9:01 got it perfect, one leg dude got the top spot he deserved, and all prior points should have been in this exact order, nothing wrong with a normal, basic and casual style.
For real. Glad someone said it. And then they act like that is a very common sample of everyday life. And when people that don't go out see this, they take it for granted. Then we end up with weirder And weirder ideas getting normalised. That's how media is used.
“I don’t know, I don’t know what masculinity means, it’s different every day, could be anything”. Ohhhhhh my gosh, to the end of the line, straight to the end.
I personally think he didnt believe that, he was just scared of being cancelled, and in my opinion if you say shit you don't agree with just because you are scared of how the other person will react to your opinion, you a bitch, str8 up
@jason Of course they’re doing it on purpose lol, this wouldn’t of gotten views or attention from anyone if they used a group of dudes that make up the majority of the average, aka regular dudes
There's like multiple aspects, there's how they look, build, facial hair, jawline and how they hold themselves etc. Then there's personality, how they speak, how they act, their authoritativeness, what they talk about, aggression. Maturity is also a kind of masculinity or a sign of it, respect, having good values and holding yourself to those values, self awareness, humility, not caring about what other people think and acting according to your own beliefs, knowing when to hold your aggression and when to be aggressive. There's also lifestyle, what they do for a living, hobbies, interest, responsibilities etc. From looks alone the guy in the plaid shirt looks more masculine, but when he speaks id say he's a bit more feminine.
This shouldn't be difficult to define, for me masculine is a behavior mostly common in males. Now things change and if in the future most males wear skirt, then that would be the masculine thing to do.
Masculine and feminine exist in nature and are reflected in most languages and pantheons across the world. Which means they are ARCHETYPES… they exist as part of our collective unconscious. Which means they are hard to define, yet easily identifiable. That’s not to say that male bodies/people can only possess masculine traits…or female bodies, feminine traits. We all have both masculine and feminine energies and attributes. Because all species (including humans) are microcosms of the natural world, in which masculine and feminine exist in complementary balance. So humans can display a range of gender expressions without having to DENY that masculine and feminine do exist as essential, immutable concepts in our psyches. You can’t have a gender spectrum without having ‘masculine’ at one end and ‘feminine’ at the other to define all the variations in between.
He said from jump he had confidence issues, and he definitely was not lying about that. I think he was chill, quietly masculine guy, but he constantly has that feeling he's a step behind...no pun intended
I'd say it's a reserved masculinity. Honestly, the type most women would go for. He won't start a fight, but im sure for the person he truly cares about, he'll shove that leg up their behinds.😂❤ He's a sweetheart, but the masculinity is definitely there. Confidence is something you can definitely build on, and if he's around the right people, he probably wont feel as 'small' or less masculine.
Bro that’s what I’m saying like he’s the only one who’s more masculine than not but it’s hard to acknowledge somebody’s manhood if they can’t even own it themselves
its funny how people only do this deconstruction "nothing really means anything" nonsense with certain words and ideas, (usually the ones that are instrumental in creating and maintaining cohesive and healthy societies) but they will be the most tyrannical crybullies when you disagree with whatever concepts or definitions are important to their worldview
Man lost a leg and didn't let depression affect his physical fitness and Physique , he's automatically number 1 in the video and I haven't even finished watching
Plenty very masculine gay dudes out there. Sexual preference is not an indicator of masculinity. But usually deviants have multiple deviancies at once hence why we see so many feminine homosexuals, because they conflate their homosexuality with other fetishes and narcissistic tendencies.
It bugs me when guys say "We need to teach men what healthy masculinity is" and then list a bunch of feminine traits. Men can be feminine and women can be masculine. That's fine. But we're really messing this shit up by "redefining" it.
As a society we are letting women who think masculinity is mysogyny while they simultaneously wanna be treated as men, define both masculinity and femininity
Bro most of the lonely men would be the stereotypical masculine man you would see on the streets. Not these guys. And probably a few of them have no problem finding relationships 😂😂.
@@markstriker925not really, if you're taking the incels they're neither the ones in the video nor the masculine men, masculine men still don't have more issue than before, all depends on their behavior.
As a 30 year old man who interacts with younger dudes, a lot of them are SOFT and depressed but will argue to the death about how they shouldn’t toughen up and take risks
The cure to the death of masculinity is taking control and building yourself into a real man. Not lowering definitions and standards. I used to be weak, feminine. Now I'm the complete opposite, and I no longer have anxiety and suicidal ideation.

Masculinity and femininity are expressed through personality traits and appearances but you can definitely tell just by how someone carries themselves.
@@GregXHunterzoverall it’s expressed by lifestyle, a man that can work hard, take care of a family and himself, lead righteously etc are what most women look for atleast traditional women. I don’t know why society is trying to fix something that isn’t broken.
@@GregXHunterz I think its more if you have a masculine personality, your going to appear more masculine, and if you appear more masculine than you probably have a more masculine personality.
"I feel like you are inspired by lesbian women". A woman was definitely not wearing a flannel shirt before a man. Flannel shirts were workmen clothes. Also I like wearing them and I'm not a lesbian, imagine. And a man wearing a skirt and a crop top is more masculine than a man wearing a flannel and jeans? Ok.
The black guy, the one with the hello kitty shirt and the one with the pink high heels and skirt are on the left, the other three on the right. From there there can be a discussion, but this is a clear line everyone should be able to draw.
he's right though. There's plenty of gay dudes that look like run of the mill dudes. There's this Australian comedian that's gay but you'd never think he is cause he's got that tough biker look xD
masculinity ranking: 1: Amputee (he just looks masculine look at him) 2: Red Nose (Hairstyle and clothes screaming "I'm a guy in late 20s/early 30s") 3: Blue Jacket (Overall Masculine fit but very boyish look) 4: Torn Jeans (His posture and voice feels very delicate and "soft") 5: Black Guy (feminine demeanor) 6: Shah of Iran (He's wearing a skirt) Beauty Ranking (1-6): Blue Jacket, Torn Jeans, Black Guy, Reza Shah Pahlavi, Amputee, Red Nose
Id actually switch Shah of Iran and the Black guy. Shah still had a tiny bit of masculine thought in his head. That Black guy sounded, acted, and thought 100% like a woman.
The mental gymnastics most of them went threw out of fear of getting canceled is mind blowing. 1 most masculine was easily Jean jacket. 2 would be Amputee. 3 Plaid shirt. 4 Hello kitty . 5 floral shirt. 6 Pinky.
I’m disgusted at how overly nice these men are being about what masculinity is. This is what I would expect from women: being fake nice to get along with the others. There’s nothing wrong with being a feminine man, but if you’re masculine you stand on your principles.
That doesn't equate being ugly either , a lot of men who don't even bath looking like pig from gutter talking about Masculinity cause another guy looks better is really incelish .
They have an agenda, so they picked men from fruit loop to slightly low T. No manly men.. At least the one legged man had muscles. And there IS something wrong with being a femine man.
It's not even the outfits, I've seen big buff metal head dudes like hello kitty. Have you seen corpse grinder? The dude is brutal but still a big softy and kind. It's really about how you carry yourself. Masculinity and femininity is more like an essence than what you wear or what you like. Edit: I also realized when it comes to people saying that women are only attracted to masculine men (looks and personality). You got examples like Prince and Michael Jackson. Prince literally wore heels and other feminine clothing yet was pulling women left and right, Michael was also popular with the ladies. Popular pretty K-pop boys are seen by a lot of men as not masculine, yet girls from teen to even 30 go crazy over them. Emo/alternative men that wear as much makeup as some girls also have a lot of female admirers. Even in my own friend group, some of my friends are attracted to a men who paint their nails or partake in self care. But again, they still carry themselves a certain way. Which gives me more of a belief that how you look/dress doesn't really matter.
You ever see that picture of the uncle taking his niece to the movies? They're both dressed like fairy princesses, and it just exhumes confidence and masculinity. A true man's man can wear anything, his personality will wear it for him, anyway
it’s too often i hear people say they were taught masculinity is hiding your emotions. masculinity is controlling your emotions. recognizing your emotions in challenging times but yet not reacting emotionally. hiding and controlling are two very different things. it amazes me how many of us were taught wrong.
@@debrachambers1304 Of course. No matter what we need to always deny and cancel the masculine element because it's toxic, don't we? God forbid we appreciate a display of healthy masculinity, right? That is a MAN speaking so no, not gender neutral at all, sorry ma'am. Those words are exactly what a great father would say and in a less sick world we would recognize it without issues.
@@PickBit Just because a man says it doesn't make it masculine. If a guy says "1 + 1 = 2" it's not masculine, though it is correct. Parenthood and trying hard for your kids isn't associated with men more than women, whereas something like being assertive is. You don't need to get so fucking triggered.
@@debrachambers1304 Triggered? Please be serious and don't flatter yourself. I'll try to explain it to you, but given your reaction I highly doubt you'll be able to get it. This is a man expressing himself in regard to his daughter and about his way of parenting; unlike math that is a topic that is heavily infuenced by one's gender. You'll be surprised to know that generally speaking men and women tend to apprach parenthood differently. A man will say "I'll try to be better for my daughter" showcasing his inclination to be guide protector and rolemodel, whereas a woman will be more likely inclined to say something along the line of "I'll do everything to ensure my daughter has the best" guided by her nurturing mindset. Get it? Of course you don't. Go on rant away.
@@PickBit I don't think trying to be better expresses the more protector-provider role than the nurturing role, though. Believe it or not, you can actually try to be better at either of those things 🫨
In response to Aba saying people lying about attractiveness is irritating. The most irritating thing for me is being attracted to a man that didn't believe he was attractive 😂 it's like a constant fight to prove my preferences are valid 😂
@@EvaCryptic Yes I think it's not the best answer, but in a man I think that a little too much confidence is better than not enough (all things considered obviously)
Basically it's finding a sweet spot between knowing you are capable but also never lacking in self-awareness so at the end of the day it's always a like a balance beam for both genders in order to present with your best self forward.
Nah bro i have seen guys trying to find a hidden camera man whenever they were confessed to. Can blame them if the only compliment they get is like once a year , and its from their mother
I got you preach. Majority of the time when someone does the “mmmhhm. Omg.” It’s often a reaction of emotion. Not saying men can’t or aren’t emotional. Jus dnt use emotions to make a point in a conversation. 🤷🏾♂️😂😂
Less giggles, less queerness, less tattoos or piercings, better spoken , more clear with the ideas, more honest, less afraid…you’d have seen little difference between the men.
I love Aba's take on femininity. That impression had me in tears 😂😂 I wish people would have more balls and say what they mean. That whole panel, if sat by themselves, would be able to write down in 3 seconds who really comes across as more masculine to them.
That's one of the things that makes them all so feminine. They're terrified of saying what they think.Never known a masculine person who is so consumed by irrational fear.
@mgs85 Seeing more and more who are scared to say or do things while females becoming more vocal and dominant. When a war begins in the West, who's going to be fighting on the front lines. That's not to say that all men have to fit that but they are the ones who give up their lives by protecting which I am grateful for.

@@jato2942 yes I would. I don’t think outward appearance and voice negates those traits. Most women today are outwardly feminine but don’t have what I would consider inherent feminine traits same for men.
jean jacket guy was probably the most masculine followed by the guy with the prosthetic then guy who gets dressed by his girlfriend. Hello kitty is the most masculine of the 3 feminine men
@@horizonkage what does that matter? my coworker, who's 6'4 250 and absolutely jacked and gets with different women almost every night, sometimes wears a dangly feather earring. Jewelry and accessorizing doesn't take away from masculinity. I think the guy with the prosthetic was the most masculine. His clothes fit perfectly, which shows he knows what he wants, he was in shape, which shows discipline; ESPECIALLY after losing a fucking leg. The jean jacket guy had to soft of a face so he'd be third and his jeans were too big. The plaid shirt underbite guy was second, with nice fitting jeans, stylish but masculine boots and chill, understated plain white t and plaid shirt. The other guys were gay and presented super feminine traits.
100%... I mean, he basically let the girls talk about their feelings and define masculinity for an eternity while keeping his thoughts to himself, then said what he thought about the ranking in the most straightforward way while the two other "masculine" guys stood there blushing in fear he might say something that could get him cancelled or in a fight with the gender fluid bunch. Come on now...
Right there at the end, Mr Jeans was being cancelled while Corky was giving that "CIS ally" submission. LT Dan checked a few boxes and played it passive so he got the win.
I like how preach said that about femininity. I come off as a very tough lady, and I am tough to some degree. Because of my home life growing up I spent a lot of time alone and I had to go through a lot alone. Same in adulthood. I used to consider myself a masculine woman but I've grown to see that couldn't be further from the truth. Everyone describes me as ultra feminine. I think I just associated being tough and self reliant as a masculine thing, but it doesn't have to be. Feminine masculine is way more of an energy thing. I've dated men who on paper seemed masculine but were very feminine in energy and it didn't mesh with me. I've dated men who on paper seemed feminine (with interests and style) but their energy was very dominant and masculine. I also associate dominance with masculinity.
Same. I've met plenty of women who have a feminine appearance, but they had a more masculine mentality or masculine, emotional expression. And same/vice versa for some men I met. However society can still determine what femininity and masculinity are, whether it is shown on the outside, or it comes from the inside out.
The thing no one shows to understand is that there is no "femenine" and "masculine" energy, you are biologically what you are and your personality can be aggressive or passive. Nothing is better, just the way you are and completely possible of change.
Hot take, if a guy is sounding off about "I'm very masculine", "I'm an alpha" all the time and saying shit like "nah that's gy, I'd never do that cause I'm straight" over tiny shit on the daily.. They could be muscle body, tatted and everything. They aren't masculine. The starting criteria before you wanna be masculine is maturity. They're still acting like a child.
The issue with ranking masculinity is a true masculine male won't acknowledge their own masculinity so this is more a "Rank you ability to say the right thing"
@@BlackFighterz "Any man who must say, "I am the King" is no king" I mean if you're there for a purpose you have to but it's as cringe as guys calling themselves alpha
No, but if you get a bunch of masculine dudes together they quickly settle into a social hierarchy that all of them intuitively sense, and some of them may challenge each other or test each other but ultimately they'd lift each other up or humbly accept the position others place them in. Instead the dudes in the video act like a bunch of schoolgirls being asked to rank each other's dresses. They are being fake nice, they sugarcoat, and the are being fake humble. A masculine man would instead humbly accept where he is placed and spend his effort on lifting up those placed beneath him.
This is a difficult watch you can tell whos more or less masculine almost immediately then everyone danced around the topic and tiptoed just be honest with everyone and yourself 😂
Don't let the world confuse you. There's a standard understanding of what masculine and feminine mean. Dude with the jean jacket on is the most masculine in my opinion, he's logical and not too worried about saying what he's thinking without beating around the bush.
Masculinity vs. Femininity, to me, is the same as Protecting vs. Nurturing. Men and women are both capable of each, but they tend to lean towards one role or the other based on their environment. People in more dangerous environments tend to progress farther by getting physically stronger and emotionally distant. This is seen as masculine. And why contact sports and physical labor produce more masculine people. People in safer environments tend to progress farther by nurturing their mind and relationships. They're more passively strategic. They find ways to reduce the need for physically strenuous activities. This is seen as more feminine. This happens to be the current status of most of the developed world that isn't currently at war..... and why masculinity is on a general decline. It's not a bad thing. I'd argue that safety, intelligence, social networks are great things. But it does alter social dynamics from how they worked in past generations and requires adjustment.
Why do so many masculine ppl hurt kids if being masculine is about protecting tho. We ignore all the ways that masculine ppl very much can be mentally weak and often harmful. We tried to make a word to describe those masculine ppl vs the positive ones but nobody accepts toxic masculinity as a valid differentiation. Do you think those ppl are just neither masculine or feminine, even if then why is most violent harm done (murder, SA, child SA) by the gender associated with being protective. when if being violent and harmful were a neutral trait youd see it in both genders the same way. I like how u were thought out but i still feel its not that simple. Also moms are often protecting their kids and women often protect each other.
@@Illuminatibby well people don’t accept toxic femininity either. The reason is because they didn’t expect either the toxic side of each trait to exist. That is it.
@@Illuminatibby mom can protect their kid, yes. However, when it comes to physical stuff, they are not strong enough to do it alone. It is just biology. Both masculine and feminine has a protective aspect to it. They just do it differently. That is why both traits complement each other well when it comes to raising children.
@@andromedamessier3176You didn’t answer their question at all. You just brung up “toxic femininity” without even defining what that means to you, and then dismissed their point lol
Realistically, the humans growing their minds were those that lived longer in dangerous situations in the past. Look at the adaptations to hunting hunter geeks made when we were using spears.
I feel like people overthink these things when they should just focus on being themselves. I was a tomboy growing up and now I love dresses but I'm still not very girly. My husband is over 200 lbs of muscle and is very masculine, but he's also very nerdy and livestreams a weekly D&D game with his friends.
It stopped when people began to think that a tomboy was a stepping stone to being "trans". Correction, a small, delusional, but loud group of people began to think that.
@@leelewis445 With time it will even out, it usually does. But it still doesn't erase tomboys.... When I was a kid people thought I was a boy because I was a tomboy. People will assume a lot when they don't know someone, normal stupid things.
Characteristics that would define a guy as masculine: ● Apearance ○ Strong jaw ○ Heavily built (Muscles) ○ Body hair ● Behaviour ○ Calm and collected (not over the top, doesn't whine, isn't overly emotional) ○ Authoritarian and aggressive (Asserts dominance) ○ Protective of those who can't protect themselves ○ Self-sacrificial (Soldiers for ex) ○ Very physical It doesn't mean that all those characteristics are good/evil, but diplaying more of those means you are more masculine imo.
calm and collected, then aggressive; those seem a bit contradicting, honestly you forgot being a leader, being a leader is a masculine trait but also requires empathy, sympathy if you want to be a good leader. it's more nuanced and masculinity/femininity are concepts easily corrupted by language.
@@GeometricPidgeon Being calm and collected in times of chaos and confusion... While also having the assertive nature to do what needs to be done when it needs to be done.
17:38 none of these guys operate in the way that the bulk of guys around me operate. The dudes around me are generally stoic and calm and matter-of-fact. The people around here are down to earth and kind, for the most part, But they have that masculine energy where they don’t give a crap what you are doing so long as you let them do their thing. I like how the only guy in the whole thing that had any masculinity had the “wrong” viewpoint and so he had to be put at the bottom. Dude was the only one willing to think for himself, even if he didn’t say things in the best way. Everybody else is just trying to jump up and down for moral virtue which is not a very masculine trait to need to be seen as.
Masculinity is a mix of things. Dominance is certainly a masculine trait but only a small part of it. Ive always taken it as confidence, leadership and the willingness to act. I would say the guy without a leg is alittle less masculine for feeling he has to distract people with tattoos from his missing leg. Theres nothing wrong with missing a leg, theres no need to be ashamed of it, and having the life experience to realize as much is admirable. People tend to see weaknesses in themselves where there arnt and turn that into a weakness. Its more masculine to just own something. If your bald, just go with it, dont try to hide it. Same with missing a leg, no point in hiding it, just own it.
Even tho these jubilee reactions/conversations don't hold as much weight as your "current conflict" type videos, I like these a lot. The vibe is always chill and fun. Yes it reminds me of the women rating themselves where they are overly nice. Some are super catty or overly nice where they're like "ooh personality" and they put the big girl first to be nice. It's obvious.
There are traditionally masculine and feminine features, mannerisms, body language, and other behaviors. There are traditional masculine and feminine clothing. There are thousand of years of documented sociologically history that support it. For example, when you think of a suit of armor, you think of a male knight, when think of a medieval princess dress you think of a female princess. What is traditionally associated with men is masculinity, and the same with females and femininity. Its not hard, just a few decades of post modern humans deciding to blur the lines got people confused.

I love the playful antagonism better in A&P. I know they don’t always agree however the way they can disagree and respect each others differences is always applaudable.
The thing that kinda upset me is people are so used to do everything to avoid getting canceled that they agree to hurt themselves how can you rank your masculinity lower than a guy wearing a skirt and pink basket
Aba is my spirit animal... I do the sarcastic spin on what people say all the time and it usually hits well, but it can irritate lol. It's nice to know I can learn to utilize it better watching the channel :D
Not really, because to me being a MAN, is simple. Hard working, skillfull at something, humble and respectful, i think most cultures would agree, atleast my culture is like that. But for some people being a man is just being a action movie hero from the 80s which is clown shit, if we are talking about someone like Rocky then i would agree 100%, thats a male role model, really emcopasses what a man needs to go through. but if you start bringing up some Rambo type shit thats not it.

So things like men having more body hair than women on average ( all this is based on averages by the way).
@@robinthrush9672 There do exist aggressive women but i'd think you'd agree that aggression is more of a male thing than it is a female thing. Since men are over just naturally more aggressive than women. Thus why I have it categorized as masculine.
I agree with Preach, it's energy and I think posture as well. It's easy to see, but hard to pinpoint the reasons. Like Aba was showing with his sassy "queen" hands. You can bee dominant and feminine at the same time. We can sense masculinity just by looking at a man. And there is one trait that always gets me: Masculine man are less confrotational towards women. (this trait is the most distinguinshing in my opinion). When I see a man too confrontational towards women, without much a reason, he can be tall, muscular, agressive, full of tattoos, but he looks like an angry Barbie to me.
To me, being masculine means being able temper one's emotions as needed. It's not about being able to be aggressive, which can be both masculine and feminine.
"it looks natural on you" damn that was exactly what I was thinking about, I felt like I could see an exact copy of a woman I knew who behaved exactly like preach, and she looked almost the same, that was disturbingly funny

Also remember the previous women ranking video where it was annoying and the original video was dogshit? Notice how there was more feminine dudes here than in the gym bro video? Yeah. I mean...think the whole point of the video is that none of them are traditionally masculine and that is why they put them together...i think dudes with one leg, hello kitty t's, skirts and lesbian shirts is the whole point. Obviously gym bros are going to be more masculine...just like it's obvious you put a bunch gay dudes together it will be more feminine....so I don't quite understand what is controversial? the program sets up situations for views.
Masculinity literally means adherence to the set of appearances and behaviours more traditionally associated with men. You may argue that many men are not traditionally masculine, and that not adhering to that set of appearances and behaviours doesn't make you any less of a man. You may say that those appearances or behaviours ingrained in our collective imaginations change over time, so it's very difficult to define with precision. And I agree with all that. But I would argue that there's a subset of those that have always been more associated to men, and that they will forever be, because they have way more prevalence in men. That's why they are considered "manly". I'm not sure if we should necessarily conflate the term with "the ideal to which all men should aspire to", but to deny that it exists, or that its somehow purely arbitrary is stupid in my opinion. That's what the term masculine means, by definition. And it's why it's so obvious when someone is not masculine at all. If you put some of these kids next to Don Frye and someone asked you who is more manly, you wouldn't say "but what do you mean by manly". Well if you did youd be an idiot. You'd know what the question means and you'd know the answer.
The problem with that philosophy is that what’s traditionally associated with men has changed numerous times throughout the years. Nail polish and healed shoes were invented for men and the colour pink was associated with men and manliness. All of these things used to be associated with being a man now they’re associated with femininity and women hood. So when you say tradition how far back do you go? In Scotland the kilt to them is masculine but all over the world it looks like a skirt for women.
@@ldphoenix3 The implication is 'masculine relative to the current time/place.' Obviously no one means 'masculine' by the standards of sixteenth century Scotland.
@@TheBrucestone the kilt isn’t just a sixteenth century thing they still wear them today also the comment said masculinity is appearances and behaviours traditionally associated with being a man but those behaviours have changed throughout the years so masculinity is meaningless because it’s a set of ideas made up from on time period to the other.
Now explain what the original uses of those items were for. The nail polish was to appear clean and the heeled shoes which by the way weren't like modern high heels were for appearing taller. The pink color has multiple reasons but the main one is its closer to the color red. Red for men pink for boys it was seen as a stronger color.
yet women complained about men so hard they turned them into femboys - i'm not castrating myself for modern women, i'm turning my back on this postmodern society

Oh yeah, this is gonna be a good one 😂😂😂

Nerdy doesn't equal feminine. But know exactly what you mean. Lol
I miss when tomboys were just tomboys
@@sebaschan-uwu
When did it stop?
(For me personally, adding doesn't mean subtracting from what already exists.))
It stopped when people began to think that a tomboy was a stepping stone to being "trans". Correction, a small, delusional, but loud group of people began to think that.
@@leelewis445
With time it will even out, it usually does. But it still doesn't erase tomboys....
When I was a kid people thought I was a boy because I was a tomboy. People will assume a lot when they don't know someone, normal stupid things.
Not one example of a Masculine man was show today! Jubilee
Characteristics that would define a guy as masculine:
● Apearance
○ Strong jaw
○ Heavily built (Muscles)
○ Body hair
● Behaviour
○ Calm and collected (not over the top, doesn't whine, isn't overly emotional)
○ Authoritarian and aggressive (Asserts dominance)
○ Protective of those who can't protect themselves
○ Self-sacrificial (Soldiers for ex)
○ Very physical
It doesn't mean that all those characteristics are good/evil, but diplaying more of those means you are more masculine imo.
And the hunter eyes
calm and collected, then aggressive; those seem a bit contradicting, honestly you forgot being a leader, being a leader is a masculine trait but also requires empathy, sympathy if you want to be a good leader.
it's more nuanced and masculinity/femininity are concepts easily corrupted by language.
@@GeometricPidgeon Being calm and collected in times of chaos and confusion... While also having the assertive nature to do what needs to be done when it needs to be done.
@DomoCatNinja I think wisdom is the proper trait for leadership. Empathy and sympathy are rarely used and already sounds like feminine traits.
@@jadl3278 What the fuck are you talking about? Leaders both male and female have to empathize/sympathize all the time.
The guy that told the truth deserves the top spot🤷🏾♂️
I'm also a fairly philosophical person and like to think about many things in life, hearing your guys' opinion gives me new cool points of views. Thanks for posting again, keep them coming!
Stuff like this makes me understand why they say most women arent attracted to most men especially younger ones
Yes you and me both know why. The typical woman doesn't like a new-age guy and so many of the men are feminine nowadays.
The flannel, Denim jacket, and prosthetic guy were ok. The other three…yeah definitely not for the female gaze.
@@ilikepancakes2368 they weren’t bad but I’m talking like their overall demeanor and stuff. The older I get the more I see why a lot of dudes dont “do it” for them lol. Many have a “weenie” aura about them…I even kinda see why women like the bad boys now. They naturally seem more manly and confident
You are inspired by Lesbian Woman had me Dying

Never in my life would I have watched this cut by it's self, thanks Abba&preach
Yes it reminds me of the women rating themselves where they are overly nice. Some are super catty or overly nice where they're like "ooh personality" and they put the big girl first to be nice. It's obvious.
and these "men" are behaving the same way. Ain't no man there masculine. 100% feminine and this is what women want? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I blame the sexologist of 1932. Also the kid diddling sexologist, John Money.
9:09 When the video started, purely at a glance seeing how they looked and talked, this felt like how they should be lined up, but after bro in the denim jacket started talking, man, he deserves that #1 spot for just being fucking honest.

The clip to the leg broke me down 😂
Aba is my spirit animal... I do the sarcastic spin on what people say all the time and it usually hits well, but it can irritate lol. It's nice to know I can learn to utilize it better watching the channel :D
I feel like we all know what masculinity is, and there are some unspoken things that define it. Ion if that makes sense
Nope
What
No we don't 😂😂. Masculine is arbitrary. That's the same reason F&F can call Aba and Preach feminine or gay for dancing and singing.
@@bleeem nothing you describe are masculine traits those are just good traits as a human
My wife works hard is she masculine 2 what dumb shit are you writting the guy above you is correct it's an arbitrary system that don't work anymore why because woman have more freedom today
This is why the "patriarch" is just as much a problem for us men as for woman we build a society that only relies on us having full control now we losing it and we as men a suffering more and more because as woman has progressed we stayed stagnant
I always described masculinity as traits or characteristics that are mostly a male thing. So like body hair, muscle mass, aggression, height, ect.
To me it's personality and the way a guy dresses. Does he dress and act feminine? Body hair height that cannot be helped people are born that way.
I'd change "aggression" to "directness". Lots of women are aggressive, but express it in passive or indirect ways. Like reputation destruction.
@@ravenc4912 It not being able to be changed is a big reason why I think those specific aspects are so important. Like sex for example, someone is born male and that cant be changed. Thus the first and most important aspect of masculinity is one that cant be help so I think the most important ones are the ones that cant be helped.
Yeah I think about it as if my testosterone went up what else would would go up? Like you said, body hair, muscle mass, etc.
8:09 Case and point:
Captain Holt from Brooklyn 99. Extremely masculine gay. Ms.Tucker in Longest Yard. Very Feminine gay.
Come on Aba! We all know what masculine is. Preach preaching. 😊
I agree with Preach, it's energy and I think posture as well. It's easy to see, but hard to pinpoint the reasons. Like Aba was showing with his sassy "queen" hands. You can bee dominant and feminine at the same time. We can sense masculinity just by looking at a man. And there is one trait that always gets me:
Masculine man are less confrotational towards women.

This shit bouta be controversial asf but.... Remember the last men ranking video, with the gym bros and how great that video was? Also remember the previous women ranking video where it was annoying and the original video was dogshit? Notice how there was more feminine dudes here than in the gym bro video? Yeah. That's all imma say

Because they got it from the straight white guy lol the very thing they hate, they have become 😂
The humble phrase "I still have to get my anger under control; I'm working on myself" is the most masculine phrase in existence.
I disagree with the "traditional" portion of this definition.
