Unless you're a one-liner comedian, when people say they're funny it's because they are witty and are able to come up with fast quipy funny one liners to what someone else is saying not they have a stack of jokes memorised to whip out at anytime, so getting told to just say a random joke with no context on the spot is not fair to prove someone is funny.

I've had Glasses since I was 6 and I wasn't really Book Smart because I was certified with Dyslexia at the same time and basically that made it pretty unbearable to read Books and pay attention to anything that wasn't actively making me do stuff but when they moved me into separate group classes for Reading and English I excelled and my Counselor actually did a Study on me to find I had an IQ of 127 in Elementary School. I excelled in Communications/ Humanities, Public Speaking and have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Communications and had a GPA of 3.49 for my Major and 3.69 for my Minor. My Glasses just made me able to read a little better but the Dyslexia made the Science and Math take longer to understand until I figured them out on my own.

I knew a smart nerdy ass guy who never had glasses with straight black bowl cut hair but was in math competitions, Pokemon, anime, and was the "Um, actually..." guy, and he was the smallest person in our primary school class, like at 3ft for the whole 6 years from 6yrs old to 12 yrs and then had a major glow up buy middle and high school and beyond and shot to 6 feet, grew muscles, and grew out his long curly hair and a moustache and opened a tattoo studio and is now a tattoo artist. It was the craziest change I've ever seen.
