@goatpepperherbaltea7895 i was only ever good enough to do carving. If you've got a really high skill level, you can add material, but it's really difficult
@@itsjameslyThanks for showing his business card. I'm going to check him out this week. Do you know a good polisher, fabricator, cad designer? Thanks in advance.
Awesome thanks video but, could you do another video showing how you use the wax to cast, because I don't understand how boiling hot wax doesn't just melt before the gold cools and solidifies???
@@rachel705 yes i did. if you have an accurate enough scale you will definitely see the loss on it. it may not be much but over 1000 bars it adds up he responded to another comment i made saying the clean up was once a week and he gets about 1 gram if my memory is correct. 1g a week for a year is 52g valued at $3,370.59 at the current price. taken directly from the customers. he also points out in his latest video that when you anneal gold then stamp it it comes out with a mirror surface. this is because of a process called "work hardening" where it takes the soft gold and by compressing it rearranges the molecules into a different pattern, one pushing out any and all imperfections and two making it stiffer. now why wouldn't he just do the process of annealing then work hardening instead of using a vibration tumbler (a tool designed to remove an amount of the object you put into it) if he wasn't counting on getting that $3,370 a year?
@@liamoneil973 I see what you’re saying with the math but the customer still wouldn’t begin to see the effects of that until they order bulk amounts. I do still see the benefit of more accuracy, though. You’re very wrong about a vibration tumbler though… it is absolutely not designed to “remove material” it’s designed to hammer material smooth, it just happens to remove small amounts in the process.
I've handmade molds for rings out of wax. I got to tell you man using a 3D printer seems like a dream. I hated working with that wax.
It’s it straight up craving or can you add material like clay?
Nice

You should invest in your own wax 3D printer. You can make fun and weird things
man you know how much its cost?
You can get a decent printer plus cleaning station for less than £500. It is very cheap compared to 5 years ago
these machines in the video are prob reaching 50K to 75K but I have a $500 resin printer that can print nearly the same
@@itsjameslyWhich machine ?
Damn they have fishes?
Imagine making a trek there just for the fish ☠️
So step one, Design. Step two, print. Step three, resolve support. Step four is profit. As is tradition. Nice.
these are safe for sand casting???
Sick wax 3d printer
Fishies!
what software do you use for the designs?

Hello
Dtla
Just a rich jewelery district kid making RUclips vids now pushing his own “brand” but he had all the resources from dad
Ah, this is how all the bullshit jewelery is made
Bro does not understand the concept of casting💀
dude is scamming you. if you watch his video about how he makes his gold bars he says he weighs them BEFORE he polishes them
Did you also see the video where he shows that the gold lost in the polishing drum is so minuscule it doesn’t change the number on the scale at all?

there is no such thing as an insignificant amount of gold especially in the manufacturer's world
