This is one of the most pathetic owners in Kitchen Nightmares. Both of these two siblings are clueless. The sister is walking around doing nothing while the brother has no clue what is he doing at the kitchen. Poor their father though.

Just work for a few and you find out some people cut corners and are gross. Like the golden corral that was shut down a few weeks after i quit. So dirty and the cooks would steal food and ive got food poisoning there from eating there food on break

Agreed. My husband recently got a steak that looked very similar. It was frozen when they put it on the grill so the center just thaws and doesn't cook!!!
Slapped it on the grill, counted to five, said “this is perfect!” and sent it out!😂😂

Fr.... I grew up in a family that worked in hospitality, I worked in it myself for a number of years, and I wouldn't have the first clue how to actually run a restaurant.

I'm pretty sure they don't serve that. They make the waiters bring the items to the table after dinner to show what they look like trying to entice them. It's a super old custom but restaurants who still have a desert tray or cart presentation use FRESH same day deserts. lol

It's a shame the restaurant only lasted 9 months after it was filmed.
Most of them fall back into their old ways after Ramsay leaves. Maybe they think that the publicity from the show is enough to help them.
Also by the time they shoot these, there’s almost no way to come back from the hundreds of thousands in debt, even if business picks up

Yeah that figures, this just felt like one of those that was doomed to fail.
The biggest problem imo wasn't the friction between siblings, or the staff, not even the rotten food. It was the siblings' lack of energy and will to work.
Too used to going through the motions, no excuse with how they were literally trained, but those types just don't grab opportunities.
This is ofc assuming they were the reason for the shutdown.

I don't get these restaurants. I was an evening cook for a few years...our time was 15 minutes from order to table. Altered orders were 20 mins max. I could do an entire tour bus by myself if the waitresses spaced out their timing. It's all timing.....that's it, that's all. Timing.

Gordon knew they were beyond help - the brother and sister presiding over Mold on food and not even basic cleaning anywhere - I don’t need to look up if this stays open or closed - the father needed to either shunt them out completely and try with new people who could make a restaurant work or else close down - Gordon knows this deep down and while it made entertaining tv - as a business it was never going to work - just read the deluded comments from them saying maybe they shoulda stayed Italian but go upmarket ….hmmm…there no talking to dumb idiots like this they are beyond help -
