I Bought a F-450 Limited to prove RAM Trucks are Better

  • Since I started the business I'm often asked why we only use RAM trucks. With the 5th gen RAM finally released. I wanted to show everyone that RAM truly does make the best work trucks out there. For hauling freight nationwide or launching your boat in the lake. I truly believe RAM makes the best pickup trucks. With the closest competitor to the RAM truck being a Ford. I decided to buy a F-450 limited to see how it does head to head against the RAM 3500 Limited. Is it all it's cracked up to be? Will it outperform? will it outlast? I have so many questions that nobody could answer. I'm here to answer those questions for myself and I hope you enjoy the ride as we prove RAM trucks are superior. Please let me know if there is anything you want to see compared side by side or in the working environment.

    All you had to buy to compare with a 3500 Ram is a 3/4 ton Ford. Rams are notorious for being pieces of shit in the HD category. If it weren't for the Cummins engines, Rams wouldn't sell many trucks.

      A HIT PIECE ON FORD. THAT SAID FORD IS CHEAP ON CERTAIN ITEMS . I ALWAYS SAID CHEVY WAS AND IS A BETTER TRUCK. I HAVE A 95 DUALLY I RESTORED AND IT IS OBVIOUS EVEN THEN THE CHINNCED ON ITEMS. THE VIDEO IS ALMOST NON INTELLIGEABLE LOUD INSIDE . DURAMAX YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW IT'S A DIESEL. THAT SAID IT IS TOUGH TO BEAT THE CUMMINS ANYTHING. RIDE IT A MILLION JUST INSTALL A NEW BODY AND PARTS.

    • @Subi_doo
      @Subi_doo Год назад

      I agree to some aspect. Where it really counts the Ram 3500 dually beats out the ford. The Ram 3500 has a higher payload, can come equipped with air bags for payload leveling, has cheaper replacement cost on tires, 2 sets of Ram tires are the cost of 1 set of 19.5” tires, has an i6 engine vs a v8 which means servicing is easier and less likely to have to pull the cab. For weekend rv’ers the f450 is a good choice. To trucking companies, who want every lb of towing capability and availability, rams for the f450 beat. Ram higher payload, and they both have near identical tow ratings. The f450 pickup, is not a true 450/4500. The f450 boasts wide track, hd rear leafs, bigger brakes front and rear, all at a cost of payload. I’d say if your working it, go Ram. If your light duty and just want a comfortable truck, the fords for a bigger feeling cab.

All I can say hands down most dependable truck especially with then new 10 speed trans literally changed the game for duallys. Truck has soo much top end pulls wayy better than the junky dodge trans that’s known for blowing soo you better have the warranty😂. Also 6.7 powerstroke makes more power and has 2 more cylinders than a Cummins. You’re judging the interior but it’s a work truck not a luxury suv. Go buy a 2022 if you want a nicer interior.I also put 145k on my 2020 in a year! The 6.7 powerstroke are a beast ive been in many situations where idk how tf I got out of that situation and why I’ll always own a Ford.

    I heard 20 good things better than the ram. Than his gripe was makeup lights and 2 things that help a distracted driver. The reason ram needs lane keep assist is because you will be too busy looking at your 75" flat screen TV figuring out how to turn on the steering wheel heater. Ford put it on the fucking steering wheel. Ram is clearly geared towards stay at home dads that are almost out of the closet. And ford is geared towards men who don't have to tell their lady more than once how many sammiches he wants for lunch. But on a serious note, I think ram and dodge in general is getting ficked right now changing hands all the time. It sucks because ram would be perfect if everything wasn't about gimmicky shit. I honestly believe ford is right where trucks should be. 1 more year and fords super duty line will also have a monster touch screen like the 150 which is cool but unless I'm 85 years old I don't see it being necessary. Put my information in front of me in a normal size screen. Both great trucks but ford is my pick. And chevy isn't even an option for me anymore and I'm a current owner of a chevy.

I have a 18k 5th wheel and the Ford out pulls the RAM any day. On the same hills the RAM loses speed going uphill with the petal on the floor while the Ford is gaining. The RAM has 410 hp and Ford 475 hp.
    I am trading both trucks in for 2022 F-350 Limited that I am ordering. The RAM has a few nice features but when it comes time to pull the Ford out pulls the RAM with its power. Much more comfortable than the RAM. And YES the new 2022 FORD has the same lane assist now as the RAM. If you want to see a true comparison. • @edwinandrade93
    @edwinandrade93 2 года назад +2

    Well the line keeping has more options, one of them is to just vibrate when your getting out of the line and the other one is that the steering wheel will actually keep you in the center of the line steering to what ever way needed. Now I can’t say that is the same as Tesla but it is very good, the transmission temp, the DEF or the turbo compressor are in the electronic instrument cluster but you have to choose which one you want to be checking on. The light on the vanity visor it is true, is very old fashion, really I don’t really know how many drivers would care about that but it is true is very out dated.

Im seeing good things about about the fords 6.7 and they have came a long way since the 6.0 issues. Maybe there is a company out there that can drop a cummins diesel engine in my ford with an allison transmission after my 6.2 gas gets tired of pulling my atvs and camping gear. Maybe that's a more affordable way to go nowadays. These truck prices just keep climbing. Even rich folks are a little hesitant to invest in these trucks anymore. They sure are nice though.
