#Skateboarding #Podcast #ElementSkateboards
Seriously, that episode was really good and should be an important one for these younger guys to hear. History, knowledge, and inspiration wrapped in a REAL skate story. You guys just keep getting better at this. Subscriber since day one and constantly spreading the word to try and get you guys over 100k.
I am now skating for 8 months and I f* cking love this!
@@raf388 Keep going! You're in the right place :) Welcome to the family!
Raf 🙌🏽
False, revisionist history is nothing but lies. I called it since before this episode that this FRAUD is lying about founding Element, that it was really Andy Howell, and Andy Howell himself just confirmed what I've been telling people all along.
@@meiphukingdiqq I do love me a good Howell story
Hey Nine Club...that was your most complete episode as hosts yet. It definitely helps to have a guest with the ability to express and discuss critically and cohesively, but, Chris, Rog, and Kelly gave a great performance as interviewers and contributors. Appreciate the effort all around while The Nine Club lives it's most complicated life.
The nine club experience was funny as hell this past week. Thanks for all the hard work that you fellas put in 💪
Shout out to Roger, and his plethora of skateboard knowledge 👍😉
Cheers Rog 🍻
Great episode guys (once again)
Oh im pschyed, Andy Howell an Johnny let me ride for Element from '93 til '95 a really fun time, I can't wait to listen
I was a huge fan of yours Bear. I'd like to see you on this show sometime, element's golden age was the 90's and its amazing to see them still going. You, Tim O'Conner, Andy Stone, Reese Forbes, Pepe Martinez rip (I know I'm forgetting a few) had some of the best styles of all time. Thanks for stoking my morning Mr Bear Hugs!
Yours was my favorite part in Fine Artists. Smooth style and you skated to Tribe lol
kennys brother?
Huge fan of yours Bear! Great style and awesome to hear your positivity!
Dude! Big fan. Fine Artists was a huge video for me
get chris roberts on the nine club
hell yeah..
Kelly yelling “weeeeellllll” would be amazing. Crob next ep.
Over 2 hours of skate history? You've gotta LIKE that!
It's a good one forsure, Thanks for tuning in!!
@@thenineclub Every time!
This dude is so rad. So much more respect for Element after the Peace vid and this interview.
Nine club and The Joe Rogan Experience are tied as best podcast! No question !
in my book!
Rogan interviews some of the most incredible minds , while nine club interviews the brilliant minds of skateboarding and since I've been skatin since 01. I love both and both are amazing
Old mate's as high as anyone's been on Rogan's cast in a while so ye
Where's the Geoff Rowley episode?!?
There are a lot of legends of street skating they need to have on the show. They haven't even had Eric Koston on the show! Ronnie Creager, Ed Templeton, Arto Saari. Rick Howard! There are so many rippers that need to go on The Nine Club.
Patrick Hanlon Ed was
@@jeffstrazdus5508 You got a link?
Patrick Hanlon damn It must been a dream or I was tripping after I watched the epicly laterd episodes. haha
@@patrickhanlon932 tempster is on jamie thomas podcast
This episode was fucking amazing! Hearing him talk about Jeff Pang and all the east coast dudes make me want more East Coast legends on the show! Kevin Taylor, Ricky Oyola, Pang, Huf, Donny Barley, Dan Wolfe and more
He plays down how amazing he was at skateboarding itself. He taught me no complies in Albany, NY when I was like 15 years old. Him, Jeff Toma, Blake Hannan, Carl Schultz, then a few years later, Kenny Reed...all tore shit up back in the day, for real!! Amazing history in this interview, as always. I’ve listened to almost every 9Club and Experience at this point. Keep it up, Boyeeeez! Thank You....
Haha. Yes. Tebbuts banks. Washington park. All that. That skateshop in Del Mar.
Element, everyones favorite company once or twice through out our lives.
Facts my guy
Best comment ever true
I was at a Hard Rock vert Contest in Hollywood sometime around 95' wearing an Element tee. A dude walks up to and hands me a 3 inch stack of Element stickers says "nice shirt" then walks away. Pretty sure this was the dude. He must of did some subliminal trick on me because Marley is my fav artist. True story.
Great interview..this might be my new favorite show. Great conversations, great questions, great guests..and so funny.
Roger makes the last 30 minutes amazing. Dude was in there asking the tough questions. Loved it!
I just was listening to the podcast catching up. It almost seemed like Roger had some unfinished business from the MTV days.
On Video Summer 2000 was my first skate video ever, so inspiring hearing the backstory. I had every season after that. The On videos always had the best soundtracks, Blonde Redhead opened me up to the best music out. Thank you Johnny!
Johnny's such a humble and rad dude. Such a great episode; keep up the amazing work guys.
Just want to say you guys are super RAD! And love watching the interviews. I am almost 30 years old and love skateboarding the same as when I first got on a board 17 years ago and it's great to here some child good stories! Keep up the awsome work!
Keep your sword sharp and never let your guard down. Amazing interview. Much respect Johnny and the Nine club!
My first board was a Color board..ha..man thats a walk to the past...Rome NY 92-93
Incredible history and insight into the founder of Element. Very interesting to look at Element (as a brand and company) from this new perspective. Thank you.
These nine club episodes with people that have shaped the industry and have lived through all the changes are always so interesting to listen to!! Still waiting for that Thiebaud episode though
My girlfriend doesn’t know anything about skateboarding. She got hooked on this show because i’m always watching it. Monday is my favorite day, I come home from work and we cook dinner together and watch The 9 Club. You guys are fucking awesome.
Rogers stare while he talked about breaking made me laugh out loud. He had the look of “he’s fucking serious?”
It is sad watching everyone leave, but they were almost holding their skaters back. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for everyone.
Good interview cousin Johnny 🤘
Much love from Alabama. The Nine Club is the shit!
Would have happily sat through 6 hours of this, great questions from the team.
AS always, Thank You!!
Seems like a pretty interesting guy, I especially like the interviews with people in skateboarding that we normally don't get to hear their stories.
I didn’t want that to end. That was great.
I am now sold on this "bath" thing idea even bought my self a 3 wick candle
Steezus should get some $$ for that.
I remember watching that Element World Tour video on VHS countless times as a kid.
Great, great episode! One of the best. Keep it up guys!
This ep was sick guys. You guys are doing great things. Proud to rock my es/nine club hoodie 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Really good episode! I really like the industry episodes .
Sick episode
Please get the illusion on please
You checking the kitty cat pocket?
really? to talk about burning man for an hour. I guess everyone has their favs
marcos ca the illusion would be amazing !
Hamish would have such an awesome story as someone who wasn’t in the industry but ripped for many years
..i remember choosing a simple yellow and blue element deck over wet willy for my first board and over my 20 years pushing wood i would go back to element again and again great ep guys #irespectwood #411baby
"it's not a fun game to be in sometimes" real shit Roberts
I just finished the last experience. I'm taking a bath and watching this. Ya'll know what kind of bath... About to learn some OG shit.
sick episode!
My first board was an Underworld Element Chris Hall slick with a graffiti graphic, the one with the dude pointing and the H bomb. Circa 1992(ish).
My first board was a Bam element board. My second board was a tosh element board.
Good work guys.
How many vids do u stop n watch during the nine club?
Currently about the watch a kris markovich part
Skate history is the best type
chris roberts saying bruhh. best to ever live
Respect.
Fresh J!
Jordan Vigil û
Word on the streets that Justin and Steezes are the faces of the experience
What a cool, down to earth guy. I have more respect for Element after this interview. Third Eye Blind and World Tour were definitely favorite videos of mine (Kenny Hughs part to Gang Star- so good)! Gonna give Felix Arguelles a Shut shout! Barley is a legend too.
Fuck, now I have a new favorite episode. Thank you fellas
What happened with Element and Tosh Townsend?
he got fired for smoking dope at the skate camp in front of kids.
Awesome episode
Christian Slater needs to be on The Nine Club!!!
LOVE this! It's going to be a great Monday.
Anyone know the rare skate videos that came out of those mentions of New Deal offshoots like Underworld Element, Mad Circle that was mentioned. I'm drawing a blank however remember. "Underworld Element - Skypager". I'd like to seek out any others. I've known and loved most of those New Deal videos but sure I missed out on any videos that came from any brands or teams from that crew early on.
Pain, sickness, and hate are great expressions of peace... 1:30:02
great insight into a very massive brand - thanks guys

elementality was the first skate vid i ever bought, it wasnt the first video ive seen. but yea. that vid was dope. watched it every fucking day. still have it too
HAHAHAHAHAH you guys left the scotch tape on the shelf.
My first board was a Twig :)
..in a few years, when the 9club is done.. chris roberts is going to be the next big name interviewer..
i predicted it first, bets are open guys...
When did I miss the Switch flip Switch manny lamp? Who did that come from?
I would loooove to get my hands on a legit physical copy of Peace if they ever made any
cool pod...btw, pls get rick ibaseta on the show!
You guys should play 411 vhs tapes in the background!
Future nature blew my fucking mind. I still own and watch that video
