I just noticed that when Kelly laughs he holds down the button. He could just laugh and not hold down the button. So he wants us to hear that famous laugh. God Bless Him.
not sure how else to say this, but, just like how some people have a spirit animal... to me the nuge is like my favourite skater, in a spiritual sense.
That tornado Nuge was talking about, "The 1999 Bridge Creek-Moore tornado", was actually the tornado in which the highest wind speeds ever measured globally were recorded at 301 miles per hour.
I met Nuge by accident at a skatepark as a little kid just skating flat ground, he came up and was just flipping his board around with me, played skate he had the coolest hard flips to me as a little kid. He was so nice and I didn't even know it was him until I was told. To me I never thought guys that good would just chill and skate with average people
Damn this was a top 5 interview of all time. Like not even just Nine Club. Top 5 of all time. Such good stories. A year late but I'm so glad I checked it out. Nuge is a LEGEND.
@@ggoat5883 I was joking I have some album collector friends that just have to find the most obscure band in the world that costs 180 a record ...lol stooooops
@@ggoat5883 great band but dudes in earthless would probably pay lots of money for some band in the middle of bfe just cause. Just saying some of these album collectors are OVERBOARD ...lol
Sick interview. Favorite part is when Don was telling the guys about the falling feather clip which they later used for the baker 4 intro. It's awesome hearing them talk about stuff in the future when it's already happened
Last time I was in LA I decided to take a casual trip to Supreme and I was so star struck when Nuge rang me up that I just acted like I had no clue who he was. Absolute legend. Next time I'm in town I'm hitting Burger She Wrote before anything else.
First I really liked his persona (what I saw on media), way he behawe and lives his life, beside his skateboarding. NUGE has almost sacrifice himself. That guy... I don't know him personal, but that dedication, all things he did. Someone should name a park, or school by his name!!! I know he thinks that is something normal, something everybody should do. But when I watch this World... No! Nuge become this huge (he likes puns!!) inspiration for me. Pho sure. After Jason Dill's, this is my favorite The Nine Club Episode. Thank you Nine Club. Huge Thanks To Nuge!!!
Thank you guys again so awesome ... my wife is like haven't you listen to them enough.... im like you don't skate lady !!!! These are the real most awesome literally insane people that pushed the boundaries way to far from the American dream !!!!
Thank you the nine club with Chris Roberts.. Roger don’t get burnt out buddy this world would definitely even suck more without the nine club with Chris Roberts .. thanks again
Dang Hollywood skateboards really takes me back to my childhood. I still remember seeing an ad with Kris in it when I was like 11 or 12. Such a treat to see The Nuge on here finally. Nine club is undefeated!!!!
Also had tk, Antwan, Lenoce, Braydon, heyl, and neen. And idk what anyone is talking about with baker boards not being good. Always held up for me and I got a good 100lbs on the average skater
I'm now about to be 28 and his part in catalsmic abyss is still my favorite part ever. I get hyped from the intro to his ender. Plus that fakie flip in that sweet ass hat, and the song by Le Peste. Forever banger 🤘🖕🤘
This was highly entertaining but I wish it could have went into more about his start in skateboarding. But very good none the less, keep up the good work. Love the nuge, crob, Kelly, rog
i wanted to learn about the nuge, and didn't know anything about any of these dudes. this was a super good podcast and i feel like i learned tons about all these cats. good shit!
@@thenineclub you should comment the link to the crash is in the description and pin it. I had to dig through a ton of comments then actually click to see the reply. No one ever reads the description. (I don't think at least)
Nuge is a solid friend. His Split Second decision was to hurt himself instead of hurting his friends when he had to crash the van. That's a good dude to have as a homie
My brother in law actually knew Don when he was in Oklahoma back in the day and partied and skated with him he’s told me many stories very interesting to hear.
Skate rock 2013 was the shit. Got to see them shred and play at the Chicken Coop in Hammond and again the following night in New Orleans. The most epic weekend ever.
Man I fuggin love this show. FYI everything you guys talk about is interesting. I listen to this with my headphones all day cause I drive for my job. Shout out the NUGE
Just found out about this podcast yesterday. Listen to Pudwill, Dollin, and Nuge. Really appreciated the host asking about his OK roots towards the end. I was hoping he would bring up the local crew TDS! And the back story with Muska was dope.
Usually I watch for the switch flip Manny but... Wow, Don is one sick dood. Really good back story to his Giant hill bomb. This interview is easily one of my fav's, along with Beagle and Reynolds. Would love to see Baca on here on one of his few days away from his kids. #foosgonewild
If this episode had like the same amount of likes like he said the word ‘like’ in this video, this likely would be like the most popular episode ever, like seriously
When I was young me and the homies would film each other as if we were doing 411 Wheels of Fortune interviews. Now I’m in my 40s commuting in my car pretending I’m doing a Nine Club interview. Thanks for making me feel young again!
I think he has a little depression... that's why he is interested in micro-dosing... but i like when he gets more involved.. that's how i know he is having a good day
Because sometimes in the episodes he looks like the weight of the world is on his shoulders .. his body language and he just looks like he just isn't into it... but then there are episodes like this one..
Nuge you’re sick, a true ripper. Chillest 100mph vibe. Shout out Crob for going back and clarifying names and pronunciations. You get a little shine for saying names three times, maybe more, but that matters.
I just noticed that when Kelly laughs he holds down the button. He could just laugh and not hold down the button. So he wants us to hear that famous laugh. God Bless Him.
I noticed that too and you know what? I respect it, Kelly is the man!
Haha I noticed that a while ago it's funny
i think about this every episode but have never seen this comment until now haha we all thinking the same thing

Man I remember skating with these guys as a teenager and they shredded. Good to see an oklahomie from my home town okc make it.
This is low key one of the best episodes.
The skate rock crash - possibly the gnarliest story ever told on this show to date. Even after seeing the footage, nuge's take on it gave me chills.
Just yesterday I was wondering where the hell is "the Nuge" episode.. and today here it is!
Thanks NINE club.
He's wearing a 13th Floor Elevators shirt! The band that CREATED "psychedelic music" in Austin, Texas!!!
RIP rocky.

The brakes out car ride was gnarly. But I cracked up at the "switch tre flip off the edge if you try the right turn" part lol.

Hope they get the rest if the Baker team and hopefully they get some OGs on it including those who rode Bootleg.
Random but you should do an episode where you talk only Dylan Reider with different people close to him. I’d watch that!
