I love that section you added in the middle. Doesn't feel out of place at all even though I'm so familiar with original piece. Amazing work as always man
This is just how i like piano pieces ... Sweet and passionate. I liked the middle section, really sounds like natural development to the melody! I also liked you ending with the mordents - not to say i wanted it to be over. Though the last slow mordent i can not hear the super Mario bros game over... That sound is completely etched into my brain. Quite possibly because i was so bad at mario games when i was but a youth, but i digress.
Wow! I love how you explored the relative minor in your B section and used similar ideas to provide that nice consistency with contrast. Your phrasing was super sensitive too, which helped it all to hit just right. Really, really beautiful and well done, both in the playing and the writing!

This piano is brighter sounding so i think they're different, but the fact that the nintendo version and this is so similar says how good this version is!

Wow thank you so much! That's very kind of you to say! Yeah, the New Horizons soundtrack is a very different kind of ost than previous games but it definitely has its charms. Honestly, New leaf was a big departure from previous games as well. I will say there are some tracks in New Horizons that really shine though and the soundtrack is really growing on me. Just the other day, we released an arrangement of the 5am theme from New Horizons and I think that piece is a real standout. It evokes vibes that are a bit reminiscent of the 7pm theme from New Leaf, which is one of my favorites. Thank you so much again for the lovely comment and for the support. @@DcapoVGM I know EXACTLY what you mean about New Leaf/Horizons being departures from the older games. I don't know if it's just us playing the games with older eyes, or if truly a bit of the magic is gone... Not complaining, I think New Leaf and Horizons are both fantastic installments. But a big standout to me was the heart that I could clearly feel in installments like City Folk, Wild World etc (particularly in the OST department!) I'll definitely give that cover of the 5am theme a listen. Thanks for the great covers!

But I have to say, you create some of the most beautiful and soothing piano covers I have ever heard. You add in new themes and harmonies, yet it still feels exactly like the original. It’s amazing! Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. I unfortunately don't have sheet music for this. I did this by ear and unfortunately don't have the time to dedicate to transcribing the sheet music. If something changes, I'll post an update on the channel. I really appreciate the support and for your interest.

Anyone would think that it always has been part of the original melody. You kept the exact style fusing it with the original piece. My respects for you. Keep up that great work :)

When I was listening to your cover, I even could imagine myself being on a cafe watching the rain through the window while drinking a nice hot coffee cup :) That's the effect the instrumental music has in me. It makes me close my eyes and see places that fit to whatever melody I'm listening to. My mother is like that too, and she got that from her mother my grandma (may she rest in peace). My grandma knew how to play guitar and a bit of sax and had a Coloratura soprano voice range. Sadly I never got the chance to hear her singing, she died before I was born. But now you know why my other comment came up like that. Even if I don't know how to read music (let alone I never played an instrument), guess there is something from my grandma's music skills, at least to know if an added part fits on an original song or not that I inherited. Who knows? maybe I can play an instrument but I never tried :) By the way, I showed this video to my mother and she loved how you played the piano :)
