- Here's a cover of this nostalgic song I've always wanted to make!
I started with it since past year, I took my time for each instrument, it wasn't easy to arrangebut I think I've got a good result.
I hope you enjoy the cover as I did making it! :D
All the instruments were recorded with a pair of Samson C02 and a Shure SM57.
Mixed and mastered in Cubase.

@@jakebutnotfromstatefarm4950 think they removed it from most games, I remember luigis mansion had it also on GCN in an evil voice.

I remember at night being in the bed. Staying in the menu and listening to the music before falling asleep
listening to this helps me cope. Im in the process of losing my grandfather to cancer and this genuinely brings happy memories of us, i remember blabbing about this game to him for hours and him listening intently despite not knowing wtf i was talking about. Imma miss him, but this song reminds me a lot of his personality. Hes such a soft and kind person. Thank you for arranging this. I always come back to watch this song, but now it has a special place in my heart.

It sounds like pure music. Without a doubt the best Animal Crossing cover I have heard. Animal Crossing games have always had soundtracks that go along perfectly with everyday life.
Weird how bowling balls being launched from a slingshot brought me to my new favorite study song.

Oh my god, the nostalgia.. Especially the beginning with the banjo hits hard and nothing else can make me feel like this. I was seven when I started playing Wild World and I seriously think the soundtrack of this game is responsible for everything I find beautiful nowadays.
The thumbs down is resetti cause no one could dislike this masterpiece
@Wakko is Cool That doesn't justifies nothing, even if they didn't played the game, they can still enjoy the soundtrack, and also the guy who covered it had a lot of work doing it too
I come back here from time to time, I lost a very close friend back in 2021, we bonded a lot over animal crossing and I learned to play this for her birthday a year before she passed as it was her favourite game (and admittedly, mine). and I come back here to remember her.

I never played the game and the first synth riff made me almost wanna bawl my eyes out because it sounds so nostalgic.
I didn't play any of the animal crossing until new horizons came out, but I still feel the nostalgia for veterans that played the older games on animal crossing.

@Dream_doggo yeah I started playing wild world over a year ago and even though theres not a crazy amount of things to do the atmosphere is probably my fav in any animal crossing game
I just wanted to say thank you for this. Even though in your eyes it might have been something you made for fun, but you don’t understand how much this has truly affected me right now.
Growing up my sister and I would play this on our Nintendo DS and made many memories together. Two days ago she passed away unexpectedly in a car accident... this song has gotten a new meaning now. Love and miss her.

Definitely I made this for fun, but also especially because this is great song which brings me good memories, I think the composition goes beyond just a videogame.
As I stated in the description of the video this took me almost 1 year from start to end (definitely I don't have the most efficient pipeline of production for this kind of uploads), but the good feeling of the song made me continue till the end.

Wild World is one of the closest games to my heart. It helped me through a really tough period of time in my life. Any time I remember this game it’s like remembering an old friend

This song is may be my favorite in animal crossing. Even though I never played wild world before, I still feel nostalgic when listening to it, which is weird, because how can you be nostalgic for an experience you never had?

Sadly, I never played Animal Crossing to have very nostalgic bias toward the game, but you can still hear it in the compositions of every track. Particularly in Wild World's theme. It's as if it was an anthen to past, happier days of your childhood, and it always make my eyes teary everytime I listen.
Needless to say, wonderful job.

He figured it out himself. The extended version this is based on, the first snow mix, isn't very well-known. Also, the first snow mix was done using VSTs as was the shorter version actually used in Animal Crossing Wild World.
I love this theme so much. Best AC theme for me followed with Happy Home Designer theme. Btw I'm a DOOM fan though, because of recent "event" I came to dive deep into AC worlds.

To me, out of all the other AC games, this song sounds kinda run down and nostalgic and sad. It sounds like it's telling you that "we may not have much here, but what we can offer is a lot" and that's so apt coming from a game that wasn't expected to be too much considering it was only on the DS. But every memory it gave you will now last a lifetime... God I LOVE this theme. New leaf came close, and new horizons just doesn't quite fit for my taste anymore, but this theme is pure nostalgia for me. Thank you again and again for this, Xatodrum
I really love this cover, especially the gentle *plinks* in the background, a clear reference to the town loading jingle. Really takes me back.
This is so good it sounds like the actual theme from the game. I love it. I have only played new leaf and new horizons but this theme is the best theme and makes me happy.

I’ve never played wild world but coming from the intro music I can feel the nostalgia it makes me sad that we grow up so fast, lost my grandmother a few months ago and this makes me think of the memories we had together. I miss her a lot.
