- WHY DID THEY MAKE THIS CHARACTER!? Today on the channel it is once again time to go back to an older DBZ Game and today that game is Dragon ball Z Raging blast 2. In this game you can of course play as SSJ3 Broly! We will also be checking out a ton of characters from goku to vegeta as well as gohan and super buu!

What I loved about this game is how characters who didn’t even meet in the show still had special voice line interactions
And there's voice lines during the fight depending on the characters you choose and the damage you've taken

Andd a better Story Mode, Raging Blast 1 had a beautiful story mode but I kind of dislike this one

One of the coolest things about this game is that the androids passively gain ki because androids are supposed to have unlimited stamina, but because you passively gain it, you can't manually charge it
Same thing in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, plus androids 19 20 and super 17 can absorb ki blasts to gain ki
Lol, raging blast is like 3rf with Budokai 3 being 1st and Tenkaichi 2 on PS2 being 2nd

People slept on them and I personally didnt like the mechanic, but they were pretty cool (and still gained ki by punching). People were too focused on ssj3 goku, kid buu, and vegito. All three of those characters were pure cheese.
Also you can charge just not until the meter is half full

Arcsys put a lot of atention to detail in Fighterz fr, but seems like Raging Blast 2 did too!
I sure would love for this game to get a remaster. The graphics are way ahead of their time. Plus the roster is huge for a fighting game.

All they missed was having Ssj4. With the graphics and gameplay mechanics. They would of been so much fun.
I loved the idea of fusing with teammates on team battles. It’s a super unique mechanic.

@@shadowpup3016 They both were in the first Raging Blast but in order to unlock them you needed to do the What If missions and something else. It took me a while to unlock them in Raging Blast lol
I got the games for these transformations plus the Hatchiyak special… then never played it again xD

Raging blast 2 touches my cerebral cortex in a different way. Something about ssj3 broly and salza being in the same game
Same feelings with Budokai Tenkachi 3. Had King Cold and King Vegeta. Characters you never see playable in other games. (Outside of Gacha games)

One thing that impressed me was despite not having a story mode, they put in a lot of mid fight interactions, and characters' mouths were actually in sync. In some anime games like Naruto storm, the character models mouths don't move outside of cinematics.
This was my favorite DBZ game for a long time until fighterZ. The super moves, the team attacks, the 5v5 fights, in game transformations, custom intros, so much other stuff. It really only missed a story mode. I mean, it was soo good. Plus if you really know how to the play the game you can have some incredible fights

One thing I like about the Raging Blast series is that most of the ultimates were similar to the anime. For example, they added Spirit Bomb when Krillin uses it against Vegeta
If you press the block button right before an attack or blast lands, you can perfectly fine snap vanish out of it.
Whenever someone fires a beam at me usually i just beam evade it for styling

I think my first DBZ game was Dragon Ball Z Sagas or Legacy of Goku.
This was my favorite game for the longest time. I beat SSJ3 Broly with 18, I felt bad for nano who basically had no clue what he's doing.

I don't know how but I was able to beat the galaxy mode 100% alot of the fights were a pain I remember there was one with teen gohan where you had to beat cell he had like 4 or 5 health bars and you litteraly had 1% of health it took me hours to beat it but somehow i did

This game brings back memories i actually still have it on my shelf. One of the first games I mastered from dragonball z. I think I still like ultimate tenkaiyichi better though it’s moves are way more defined.
Raging blast 2 is the best 3d arena db game. Verrrry underated. I still have the combos in my head. Shame its not backwards compatible

I miss transformations mid battle. Plus being able to play as giant characters like Great apes, Hirudegarn, Fat Janemba, etc was so cool in DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

Me and a friend of mine got good at this game and had 5v5 matches that would last 10-15 minutes because we would learn each others combos and constantly vanish/deflect/block or dodge. Once we mastered fighting vs certain characters we would change characters to throw each other off. The replays looked legit like dragon ball z fights. Loved this game.
