I LOVE getting negative feedback! It means they were paying attention. I especially love it when they go through the song and point out everything they hate about it. Even better, call your friends and tell them about this sucky video and you can all watch it and laugh at it together. Over and over again

I've been saying this for years. I wish people would focus on their own ambitions and not worry about Becky down the road. I can relate to being an introvert that puts themselves out there. It's a challenge and you learn to love feeling uncomfortable to a degree. I'm very new in the digital world. And it makes me really uncomfortable putting myself out there and I love it. I watch You, Gary Vee, Rob level, and the rest is random to help me on this journey. You're going to be a motivational speaker for sure. Hell you already are.

Harley Wilt The reality is, posted online or not. 10k views or 20 views or 200 comments...changes nothing in your immediate life. People choose how to take comments and react how they choose. It’s never the comments, it’s the person receiving the comments.

making music is not about winning but about find harmony with one selves. you have to love what you create. the feelings that is trapped in your subconscious must be allowed freedom and music is a good way to release it. the worst thing is people that classify your music by comparing to some music only they like. those kind of people i think are simplistic minded.

I just put out my first single and I promoted it on TikTok, well one of my videos has gotten a lot of views with most of the people hating on my sound, lyrics, and mixing, mastering everything basically I worked hard for (im only at the beginning)....at first it was a bit hard for me to take something positive out of all these comments basically saying my music is bad. But most of them listened to my song on Spotify at least, so I kind of got their attention! Also I think that most of the people who comment negatively on someones art, don't really know how much effort and money goes into making it, and how overwhelming it can be starting from 0. I have never gotten any negative critic from a fellow musician, always supporting words!

Just a couple of days ago I posted a video of my playing a couple of my synths and a guitar in a few Facebook groups. The first notification that I received was of some dude laughing at it. I went to check the group and then check out who was laughing? When I saw his profile photo I chuckled to myself and just left him in his own little bubble. I thanked God for blessing me with the opportunity to own what I own and to be able to create music with them. I also thanked God that he didn't create me to look like that dude. I am immensely grateful. He has far more problems than what I have with my music lol.

At the end of the day, whether it’s feedback or just a hateful comment, none of those things are true. I don’t even understand where those ppl come from, so I’ve learned to just laugh at it and move on. It’s not worth my time or energy.

Oh yes I had several haters when I started to have more public attention, for example while my Redbull3style National Finals performance or once I posted a video and a guy commented, that I dont have an understanding about turntablism. Depending on my own mood on a day it hurted more or less. Being aware that it hasnt to do nothing with you and not to take it personally, bc it is the other person, that needs sth, like attention, an outlet for emotions, or just having fun while hating...and to be honest, it happens to us all, to me as well, sometimes you watch sth and have a hater thought, it can be just for a second, but it happens to all if us 😂😂😂. well its normal, lets not be so strict with each other ❤❤

I’m a pretty sensitive person. It’s one of my strengths (allows me to create feeling based content). I have run larger size social media pages for years now. Here’s my take away:
    1) haters don’t have balls (notice they run in circles. Yeah it’s because to stand alone. You have to have lots of balls 😅
2)their unhappy. I’ve meet a few happy people, I have meet a few successful people, I have meet a few grounded people. They never act like that. They rarely run in groups. Some don’t care about you, some give you objective criticism, some are supportive, some are competitive and are coming for your azz😅 (some competitive ones can be haters tho). But notice they are not happy if they have to be competing all the time. Seems like they’re covering inadequacy.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk 👍

I’d love to hear you do a video specifically on handling criticism and rejection in the business. That’s the hardest thing for me to deal with. I usually feel that I am my harshest critic and if anyone is going to bash my song in any way it’s going to be me. I love my parents and I know my parents love me but they dont support me at all. they think because I sit 8hours in front of a laptop while (clearly) producing beats, they think Im lazy and Im doing nothing with my life. I understand that they are from a different generation and dont quite understand all this internet stuff, but even after explaining and showing them what I do all day and where I want to be, they dont believe me, because I dont make thousands of dollars yet.As soon as I started doing this music thing seriously, my parents got more and more negative. Of course, they want to protect me and want only the best for me, but the best for me is making music. Id love to move out and get my head cleared, but I also enjoy being at my parents house because I can save up money that I can invest into my career. What would you do? Thank you for any advice

Keep making your music and get a part-time. That may keep the parents off your back and give you more finance to play wit for now. Give yourself a time line. It will make you focus more. That will allow you to be a bit more independent and less dependent on them.

After four months and dealing with these people in public I come to realize that I am probably a greater talent than I think I am when their jealousy comes floating like shit out of their mouths...

I just created my RUclips for my music. Having a hard time feeling like I should keep on doing it. He's right, putting yourself out there makes me vulnerable. I want to share my stories and my music and my music which is my therapy. I do get a lot of views... but analytics destroy my motivation. I try to not look at it because I enjoy making songs. But if no one even wants to watch it... then why am I doing this? I started off just doing it for myself because it's what I loved doing. But I also want people to see it, comment on it, enjoy it and maybe relate to what i am saying in my songs... I don't know

If you fight with haters it means that you are not self secure enough. So basically its is the problem within you, and not in somebody else or somewhere outside there. But yeah, its easy to say ;)

I get a feeling I've been sharing my music with wrong people. They just leave dislikes for no reason whatsoever.
According to me, haters are of 2 types.
    1) Useful Haters : You suck because " The quality sucks, your expressions suck. Your instruments suck" fix them.
Useless haters : Dude , you suck! Your music sucks because " you are making it". :/
How do I know with whom I should share my music with? It's a pretty simple question , but when you think about it, it is quite deep.
