So many women didn't have a positive role model from a man. And visa verse. So many men are raised by unhealed women that later take their unresolved issues into their relationships , and visa verse. If we would stop trying to mold people to be what our inner child didn't get as children and take responsibility for our own self care and love, then we can decide whether our feelings are exactly what is needed to pay attention to. When you see the state of relationships now it's hard not to lose hope. I don't wanna be Sara's age finding love that's like a slap in the face. I spent my entire adult life doing what I thought were the right things. Working, going to college, saving, loving, and showing love only to find out that I'm the reason why no one loves me and all my relationships failed. I'm clean, a great cook, a good mom, and all the while everything I did to show someone I loved them was the reason they dog walked me and wiped their feet on me like a floor mat.

All these things I did and I knew I started to see him slowly fading with his communication. No matter what I did or said my feelings got more involved. And that didn't matter to him. He still was becoming more distant. Then it got to the point where I found myself constantly texting and calling and he was no longer returning no form of communication at all. I was nothing but nice and respectful to him. None of that matter to him what so ever. Lesson learned 😔I was finding myself ALWAYS asking him what took him so long to respond. Why you're not calling me. Are you ignoring me, Did you get my texts. I did it all to try to save him from fading away...and it still happened. All of this was just within 5 months time frame.
Sometimes, it's hard not to show my feelings because I wear my heart on my sleeves. But I have learned a lot in my 2 Marriages iam 60 yrs old I don't want to give too much to soon..not my body but my affectionate
