    Think you're due some new reels, those Korums sounding a bit agricultural 🙂 Okuma Aventa Baitfeeders in 6000 size are perfect for Barbel and i'd highly recommend them. 👍

    Could I ask what your hooklength material of choice and BS is for these barbel please ?

    • @ukfishingvlog
      @ukfishingvlog  8 месяцев назад

      I usually use 8 lb fluorocarbon hook length for normal river conditions but step it up to 12 lb fluorocarbon if its snaggy or in flood.

    Its tragic , because its a young hare ( Leveret ) and myxomatosis is a man made disease developed in the late 50's . absolutely horrible !

      It's illegal to eat fish from rivers in the U.K and you wouldn't want to, without leaving anything you caught in a bathtub of clean water for a week, emptying and refilling every day anyway.
