@@Frankybeanselevators you've got to understand it to work alongside someone playing a character with mental disabilities otherwise it might scare them at such a young age.
Because I have a mother who has the mental capacity of a twelve year old and my older brother has the mentality of a six year and my dad was never around I'm really empathetic towards Lucy, that feeling of having to be the grown up, and not wanting to learn things that mum couldn't.
Yes, unfortunately, a lot of people did not realise how realistic it was, because if they had, more people would have realised how corrupt CPS is and demanded that the system be overhauled.
First time I watching this movie at the neflix it was a good movie Mr. SEAN PENN HIS VERY GOOD ACTOR .and u can feel heart how to fight his daughter.. all casting great job
Give me Sean pean is the legendary i was cried went Sean is fighting no matter of what and Michelle is so powerful because I saw her show the finger and say anything that make me laughing

Jojo's mom told him to lie on the stand, i thought you'd be proud of me jojo's mom told him to lie on the stand and he did and say he never saw a needle in his house
did anyone notice Elle didn't want to do the movie she cried the whole time. On the sceane which she's in they gave her candy and someone made her laugh the rest of time on set she hugged and kept next to Dakota.
When I was 12, I didn't even understand disabilities the way Dakota understands at the age of 6. Her level of maturity at such a young age is crazy.
You do know it's a movie, right?
@@Frankybeanselevators obviously genius. Did you fail to see that I wrote "Dakota" and not "sam"?
@@Frankybeanselevators even if it's a movie the way she acted seemed genuine right ...he was talking bout her acting skills dude

I cry every time I watch this movie.
I start crying right at the scene where Lucy is born and I have tears throughout the movie 😅 Even though I've already watched it 10-15 times.

I hate turner he is so mean to Sam. I felt bad in the part when he was hurting his feelings :(
There are lots of good ideas and performances in this film, but it is just so shmaltzy.
Great movie
