- Interviewed Dakota Fanning who played Lucy in the film "I am Sam". Lucy was born from a homeless mother and is raised by Sam Dawson (Sean Penn). It turns out to be a custody battle because of Sam's illness and the capacity of raising a child. The film is rated PG-13, Drama, 2001, Directed by Jessie Nelson.
Dakota is the youngest nominee at age 8 for the SAG Award.

Dakota Fanning is one of the most adorable actresses as a child and I would have to say that I’ve only seen 1 other like her and that would be Shirley Temple. Her maturity and charming personality is just amazing. It’s good to see her still acting today in 2023.

terrible interview. it's like the interviewer supposedly brought his level of questioning down to that of a ten year old's....which, coincidentally, isn't too far away from his level of thinking. unbelievable.
