Coraline, Equalizer, Uptown Girls, Man On Fire, Charlotte's Web, Twilight, Cat In The Hat & Hide And Seek. I'm Turning 20 This Year, Dakota Has Literally Been A Big Part In My Childhood. Congratulations Dakota On All Your Success 🎉🎉❤
Umm I might be related to Dakota Fanning even though she's white & I'm black but we have the same last name...which is crazy I would of never thought someone would have the last name Fanning
She's 30 now?! Damn, I feel old. I have watched her movies since I was a child. She was in The Cat in the Hat, War of the Worlds, Charlotte's Web, Coraline and more.
Yes 🙌 those and I am Sam , trapped , secret life of bees 🐝, hide and seek , dreamer the runaways then barelly in twilight . So many movies of our childhood hope to see more in our adulthood
She has been a GREAT actress so long I can't believe she is only 30. CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE! Still my favorite thriller of all times. All mental, virtually zero blood. Simply incredible! Happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Her transition from child actor to adult roles is honestly amazing and for someone whos been in movies that weee massive parts of our childhood, you would think she’s in mid 30s,man she has such an amazing career
Both sisters have such lovely personalities and both are talented beyond. Dakota kicked it out of the park in Alienist s02. An Academy award should be in her future.
Am glad Dakota transitioned so well from a child to adult actor. And there's no bad news we have heard about her throughout the years unlike other child actors growing up in the industry. No news about drug or alcohol use, no rebel teen years, no diva attitude, no sex tape, no sexy naked roles, no controversial lovelife. When we think Dakota Fanning now in her 30s, we think about her acting work because there is no other controversy in her life to detract from that. I dare say a good chunk of how well she has turned out into adulthood can be credited to her parents. Well done Dakota!! Congrats on all your success and Happy Birthday!!
I remember seeing "Man on Fire" in the theater. She was 9 years old when that was filmed. Her performance at the end... it was the first time I teared up watching a movie.
🥰 I can’t get enough of that clip!!! 🥰 It’s such a sister thing! I’m sure I had that same convo with my little sister at that age. 😂 But when Elle puts on her wig and exclaims, “I did it!” I laugh and cry every.time!! 🥲 Soooooo precious!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤
you have to be thankful for the child stars that don’t fall by the wayside everyone loves a triumph story but it’s equally satisfying to just witness a gradual ascension
It has to do with the family life. A lot of child star's family end up exploiting them and trying to leech money out of them, as Dakota said in this clip, she has the best mom.
So glad she’s acting in movies again she was barelly in twilight and haven’t seen her in much since the runaways and secret life of bees she was such an inspiration growing up one of the best actresses of her age and hope to see her thrive thru her adult life .
It's nice to see Dakota Fanning being interviewed. She is so sweet and real. I adored her back when she did movies such as The cat in the hat. We were born in the same year so I feel a sense of growth with her. 🎼💙
I love how private/well behaved/low key the Fanning sisters are. Also, I had no idea Dakota had Elle's cute smile and laughter! I've watched Dakota since she was little, it's unbelievable she's 30 already.
Wow 30 Time Flies I remember Dakota on Taken TV show back in 2002 loved her since she is so Phenomenal and Amazing Grown up to be such a Jem one of many Favorite Actress keep being Awesome.
Ohhh my, I’ve seen grow up on the screen 📺 just wow 😮 time flies. I wish her continued success, and happiness, plus protection. ❤❤❤ so happy to see her 😊
Yup. Just gave myself the creepy shudders thinking, "i've watched dakota fanning almost her entire life, and yet i've never met her" I'm almost 39, or by her logic ,40. I'm almost 40 😱😵💫
She is 1 year younger than me, and I have been watching her movies since I was 10 and have crush on her since. Uptown Girls, The Cat in the Hat, Man on Fire, War of the Worlds, Hide and seek, Coraline and Push are my favorites. Love you Dakota❤️
This woman is, simply, AMAZING! just check out her talk show interviews, since she was 9 years old. Her true acting skills and real life, bubbly/amazing personality was..and is still here! I LOVE her!!!!
Believe it or not, I first discovered Dakota Fanning in her younger roles (e.g. "The Cat in the Hat", "Trapped", "Coraline", "Man on Fire", "Hide and Seek", "War of the Worlds"), and she is an exceptional child actor. And as she is growing to a more mature age, she has never lost her ability, like her roles in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", "The Runaways", "Please Stand By" and among others. I also can't wait for her new film "The Watchers" to come out in theaters. Kudos to Ms. Dakota Fanning!👏🏻✨💯
I'm old enough to remember when people would say "Dakota Fanning" as a joke answer to any blind item. Can't believe she is 30 now, wow!! She still looks so youthful and glowing. If you told me was 16, I'd believe you. Must be living a nice life.
Dakota grew into a lovely woman ❤️ She smiles, and it’s like a breath of fresh air. SHE is a breath of fresh air. The red dress looks great on her 💃. It’s nice to see her doing well after all of these years (on top of having a great career ✨) it’s inspiring ❤️🤗🥰.

In retrospect, I feel like I finally come to a point where I truly don't care how beautiful these girls look like - the true beauty is in their capabilities to act, that's the magic. They bring characters to life. Cheers.
She's still so humble since she was a little girl. She definitely stays away from the public eye. She's only a few years younger than me, but I enjoyed all of her roles.
@@entropyachieved750 facts I feel the same way about with keke palmer when she was on akeelah and the bee,Kyla Pratt and Raven on Dr Dolittle even tho I knew Raven from Cosby and some others but I'm stop here😁

Her performance as little Ray in Uptown girls was brilliant. She is an amazing actress and has grown into such a lovely young woman.
I absolutely love the Uptown Girls💜🤗💜!!!
I still can't believe she hasn't been nominated for an Oscar. She is so talented.
She will, just give it time.
Fr!
She already won when she was a kid
Has she even been in anything in the last 2 decades?
Don't get out much do you? @jeremydoerksen877
I'd actually never watched her in an interview. She has so much energy and seems really sweet! I love how she talked to the audience really often.
You should watch her interviews when she was little. She was a very smart child.
Uhm
The fact that the little girl from I Am Sam is 30 years old means I am 600 years old
ditto lmao
She was Sally from Cat In The Hat
She killed it in that movie.
It’s like time actually moves
