All paths lead to Rolex when you consolidate a collection, they really offer a lot for what you get. I'm not a two tone man but it looks good on you! I prefer the fit of the YM 40 with the curved lugs, especially with 6.3-ish wrists, but if you can rock the Sub it's a classic for sure. I have a 126500 Daytona and it wears like a dream despite my small wrists and it has a very similar case profile to the YM 40, so I'm sure it'll fit you well too
Congrats! I picked up mine last year after a 6 month wait. But now they are readily available to buy from the window in my home country and sometimes go for just under RRP on the grey market. It's a great watch, enjoy it.
Congrats. Trading the Santos was probably a good choice considering the rest of your collection but I am not too sure about the Mistflake. There was nothing else quite like it.
I was debating on gettin this or the 16613 (older model) as it's much cheaper and a bit smaller. I need to see this in person. This will 100% be my next piece, I'm kinda tempted to trade in my two tone Wimbledon but I'm still loving that one.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO

Yea I had the chance to test drive my brothers one and remove links to make it fit better. Unfortunately most won't have this luxury so it's a coin toss. The lug to lug was still within my limit so I guess I learned after the fact.
V impressive you manahged to trade in a santos and the GS for that, definitely got good connections like you say. How does your speedy wear btw? been looking at getting one but worry about size (same wrist as you). Just to add; my AD (who I purchased an explorer and DJ from) told me a day date is actually one of the easiest models to get... so maybe worth trying at an AD before you go grey.

The Gold is already scratched up with a significant scratch on an inner link but its all good. If you're OCD about it you'll get a bit crazy but I don't mind it ❤️
Still in the collection no plans to move it on any time soon. Don't see a point as I'd only move it on for a Daytona but I don't have daytona money right now 😂 though the speedy gives it a run for its money 👍

Consolidate your collection and focus on Rolex. They are great looking, reliable and have fantastic value retention. It saves a lot of time messing around with other brands. All roads lead to the crown as they say

Give it a try in person and take photos on a mirror.
Hard to gauge the size from photos unfortunately but the lug to lug is manageable. Best of luck.
