TP Link has been selling a color pro nightvision camera (tapo C325) for over a year now with this same tech. Also full color nightvision without IR. It's weird to see an image like that in real life, but it's not exclusive to eufy and also not a secret. I don't know the manufacturer of the sensor, but they've been used by multiple brands for a while now, also for industrial security cameras.

@martinwigge7642 that's the whole point - there was very minimal light at the curtains (not enough to see the room,l - the camera makes it look like light is flooding in

now all eufy needs is a 360 degree fisheye camera and they'll have all the same tech as leading competitors and I won't need to switch brands.
