I have the old eufy cam 3 pro it’s motion detection is not good can you do a test to see if the motion detection is better I have one on my garage if someone walked by on the sidewalk I won’t get any detection and if a car drives by it’s rare to get any detection
What is the maximum number of cameras that the Homebase 3 can handle? If more than one Homebase 3 units are enabled, will they conflict? Thanks. Great review. Cheers.
Up to 8 wired devices ( Up to 4 devices that support continuous recording function can enable 7/24 recording when connected to HomeBase 3) Up to 16 battery-powered devices support.eufy.com/s/article/How-Many-Devices-Can-Be-Added-to-HomeBase-3. There should not be a conflict if you have more than one homebase 3 you should need to make sure you name them differently so you can tell them apart when you are linking cameras to them.
Possibly but having a lower resolution sensor in the camera would mean some would not consider it when looking at others that have a larger one. It is all about comparison. Even with the sensor it has right now I feel from everything I have tested to date this is now on the top for color night shots.

Did they fix the water getting in the housing and the delaminating solar panel from the s330 cams?
eufy is supposed to have addressed those issues. I can say that the coating on the solar panel does not look or feel like it did on the s330.

About how far away is the camera from where you are trying to record? I can do some testing but knowing this will help.
Is the E330 the same night vision capabilities?
I have not tested the e330 but I'm going to say that this one is better. Eufy treats this as their next Generation night vision
I noticed you skipped right over what the night vision with FIR only looks like.
I did, the big selling point for the camera is the color night vision. However, if the separate RAW video footage I do show IR video samples.

Couldn't they improve low light performance by using a lower resolution sensor?
Possibly but having a lower resolution sensor in the camera would mean some would not consider it when looking at others that have a larger one. It is all about comparison. Yeah, you're probably right. Unfortunate that it could have been even better.
