Unlike traditional plug-in hybrids, the 992.2 does not offer a plug-in facility. Instead, it features a modest 2.0 kWh battery pack, delivering a brief electric-only range of just a few miles. This approach mirrors the Corvette E-Ray's system, which boasts a similar 1.9 kWh battery allowing for approximately 3-4 miles of gas-free driving. While the electrification is a significant update, Porsche has not neglected the aesthetics and technology of the 911. The 2025 model retains the iconic body and structure introduced with the 992 series in 2018, ensuring that unmistakable silhouette remains intact.
