Oilers fan here, after we passed on Wallstedt. The kid can score goals on bad goalies, in a weaker league, but I think I'd still rather have the Franchise Goalie who played in the SHL

@@dgl25 a goalie? Konovalov has signed an entry level 2 year contract. He's been very solid in Russia. Skinner has also been good with two championships.
Why would the Oilers need more Goalies?
Defense is built around Nurse, Bear, Barrie (if he signs), Bouchard, Broberg, and Lagesson. Keith will bring in leadership.
What the Oilers need are right handed shot players that can play centre for 3rd or 4th lines. Haas is gone and Kiara are is unlikely to be qualified.
I am confident the Oilers are moving in the right direction.

@@NihilistWolfe I just looked at their stats definitely nothing to write home to mom about wallstedt would definitely be a good call if those guys are what's ahead for us in net. not saying I'm an experienced scout or better in net by any means and nothing to cut xaiver down like I said I'm sure he's good but wallstedt I think was the clear move and we didn't pull Trigg
