He had an incredible basso cantante voice. P.s. He also earned a Grammy for narration on a Manowar album. P.p.s. Luca plays a custom guitar from a small luthier these days, don't have the fantiest idea about the one in the video. P.p.p.s It wasn't a Grammy, it was a Metal Hammer Spirit of Metal Award.

@@NicknLex I made a mistake, actually. What he got was a Spirit of Metal Award from Metal Hammer for his career contribution, with Rhapsody and his own project Christopher Lee. As well as doing the speaking parts in Defender for the re-recorded Battle Hymn, that were originally done by Orson Welles. Yes, the man started a metal band in his late 70's, unreal... he was preparing a new album when he died, youtube singer Dan Vasc was going to be in it.

Hi Nick, Love this. It is definitely like a movie epic and would also make a great Rock Opera stage production. Christopher Lee is excellent. Yes he was in Lord of the Rings which suits this perfectly, but lets not forget he also played Dracula for many years ! Music to sink your teeth into. Byee ! Jim X

The only problem with the music video is that they cut out part of the solo. There's actually a behind the scenes documentary of making this album on RUclips (there's also one of the Magic of the Wizard's Dream video,) which is pretty interesting, and Christopher Lee says something I found funny. I guess they asked him why he decided to do this, and he said something like, One should try everything during one's career, with the possible exception of adult movies. Edit: Actually, cancel that, I just saw the solo, that is the whole thing. I must've been thinking of something else. Another Edit: You mentioned Running Wild at the end. I've heard of them, but never really listened to them. There are a few Pirate bands now, but the only one I really listen to is Alestorm, who have turned into a meme band more recently, (ever since they wrote that song about running out of ideas for songs, Scraping the Barrel.) They don't take themselves seriously at all, As long as you realize that, it's kind of fun.
