Their most important influence among classical composers is Vivaldi, but they also take from other composers. The drummer was also the drummer of Avantasia and Sieges Even from Munich. The drummer Alex Holzwarth comes from Munich.
"Heroes of the Waterfalls' Kingdom" is another cool song of the RoF!
Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness and Heroes of the Waterfall's Kingdom are on my list, but they are too long. After I am done with the other shorter epics, we may do those songs. They represent the Grand Finale/Conclusion of the two Sagas. The Emerald Sword Saga concludes with Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness while The Dark Secret Saga ends with Heroes of the Waterfall's Kingdom.

This was GOOD. This is a case where a little "borrowing" is perfectly justified. They're homages and the band makes it all work together very well.
I love this band.
I just finished off my Rhapsody of Fire collection. I was 4 albums behind, and I just recently bought the most recent 4 albums including the one where they re-recorded a bunch of the their classics from the first 4 albums.
Fabio's vocals sound very Italian to me just like the voice of Ronnie James Dio who is actually Italian, too.

I don't know if there are concerts with full orchestra. Late 90, I saw them in concert. They toured with Stratovarius and Sonata Arctica. The classical elements were sampled and the bands played their parts.
The singing in Italian will be on the next song. Do you prefer if I don't tell too much when requesting the songs. Maybe, it is better to discuss the detail after the reaction. I wasn't sure how much you are familiar with Christopher Lee. I think this song would be too fast for Lex. However, Rhapsody maybe a gateway for her to get into heavier sounds.
Maybe after so I can discover all the things while I listen. I would have flipped backwards hearing Lee talk. But it was still amazing. The whole song almost made me weep. I had tears of joy in my eyes. Thanks again
You do know that Metal is nothing more than the merger of Classical Music and The Blues, right? The Classical element is of course the guitar work, and even the orchestral backing when present, and the The Blues part is the lyrical content along with the overall tone of the music. So when asked what kind of music I like, I say Classical and The Blues. 😄😃

It's one of the successor bands to Rhapsody, with both guitarrists, the bassist and the drummer.
