I have a test for Management Perspectives Module at university next week and all your content has been very useful, I'm surprised you channel isn't massive so keep up the hard work because you definitely deserve even more success with this high quality content. 👍
Great to hear. I appreciate your kind words. I'm going to keep chugging away and we'll see how big we can make it. BTW, I have another channel Communication Coach that is much bigger. This is my 2nd channel. Good luck on your test!
This has helped me understand the character of some of the people around me, regardless of any age, some only follow directions, some overanalyze the situation before acting on finalizing a specific task. Thank you for sharing.
I am into my final 13th week of management. Have to case study based exams - have done an essay on path goal theory. Think that your video was very thorough and well backed up by evidence and; would encourage you to cover more videos like this in the future. Well done on this video

Thank you for putting out such great practitioner friendly content. I really liked the portfolio based approach to taking action that you described in the video. I was going through some of your other material as well, particularly on LMX. I was wondering: Can the relationship determinants between leader and follower ie likeability, support, professional competence be linked to the approach espoused in situational leadership ?(eg: good lmx will develop if I) the leader is competent enough to be directive where needed, ii) is likeable enough to invite participation where needed or iii) is supportive enough to display well being related concern where needed).
Hi. This has been most helpful but on the rewards it would be more helpful if you elaborated further. Are these long term planned rewards of promotion at work or short term rewards like money for overtime. and can it also be a hybrid of the transactional style as an addition to being situational.
Yes. For example, some leaders seem nice in group settings, but may berate and yell at employees when they are 1:1 with their subordinates, which creates an environment of fear. Elon Musk is infamous for his unhinged rants and firing sprees of line workers when he is unhappy with something.

what about toxic leadership. no matter how motivated and skilful a team is, a toxic leader can ruin the entire organisation
Very true.
