I played it at release had a good time, experienced some insanely funny bugs like enemies meditating in mid air while rotating for example that was awesome haha it was fun for what it was.
Also, yes, the attack lag behind the taps because it’s a strike system the first tap set up the then you have to tap again when the animation connects the blow. That’s what I mean by high skill ceiling. You actually have to tap along with the animation. Almost like guitar hero.

A lot of people said the same about Marvel's Avengers, but after playing the game, I never experienced the horrid game play that others had experienced. Probably because I like Marvel's characters and had zero expectations other than playing those characters in a game. I wasn't disappointed.

PS5 version is crisp and smooth so far whether it's an issue with your console, a fluke that may be resolved from reinstalling, or something to do with internet idk. Ever get better?
I would definitely have to say you are missing out on the Spider-Man action games especially the Batman series. The superhero gameplay are great fighting, storylines, and puzzle solving scenarios.
I want to defend this game so bad but it does so much that frustrates the player especially doing extremely boring challenges to unlock each characters unique traversal, I’m someone who likes to jack of all trades so I got all of them but it was hell trying to. Add on the fact the open world in this game is so hollow rarely anything interesting pops up like even the worst Ubisoft games did their open world better than this. I will say the main campaign and combat is pretty enjoyable for the most part except some enemy design which made life so difficult while each knight played so differently that I always swap back and forth in the main and side missions just to see their perspective on them which I love the game form although the disconnect in the narrative is massive if you play that way. All in all I find Gotham knights a pretty mediocre game with decent combat and Main story missions but everything else is straight up pain inducing and frustrating
Yep 100%. I feel like the best way to play this is to streamline the main story. I only done about 3 hours total of the open world/side missions. I feel like if you grind for loot, the game will quickly reveal its repetitive nature. This game is best played with a buddy while streamlining the story. Great for a sub 12hr romp.
I just downloaded it for the first time on my Xbox One X… yes, and Cloud Gaming, on Gamepass…. With that being said. I’m having a blast! I’m 36, and collect games, and build gaming consoles. This game is my childselfs dream, it’s dope, not perfect, but neither are you. 😊 I feel like the younger generation is spoiled. Yes we all know the Arkham games are in a the hall of fame. But this is a Gotham game, not a Arkham.

It was okay but the 30fps on console and terrible traversal killed it. Compare it to suicide squad which has fun traversal for every character. It makes the game so much more enjoyable. I did enjoy ehat i played before i got bored and moved on. Wish it had more dlcs or expansions with cool bosses.

I can agree with you. It's one of my favorite games referencing the DC universe.

I bought the deluxe for 17 dollars the game imo is just decent but definetly better than suicide squad

The combat is so freaking good in this game. It just has a high skill ceiling unlike Arkham and Spider-Man. So casual players just couldn’t catch up.
