Bro, I never noticed all the expressions of the characters because of the need to constantly read. The animators put a lot of effort into this, despite what it may seem like. The voices allow you to spread your attention better. AMAZING!

this dub is truly incredible. not only are a lot of the voices very accurate to their official counterparts but there's also a lot of great direction in the voices of characters who have yet to be officially voiced, especially brain who's intonation sounds very similar xigbar which is a great choice from both a character perspective and a continuity perspective. 100% worth the wait.

I played this entire game from the day the global version came out but because my eyesight is incredibly bad (practically blind) it was always a chore to get rhough the cutscenes, let alone revisit them. You have no idea how much it means to me to have a version like this that I can listen to. Thank you and everyone who helped to create this from the bottom of my heart.
This series is probably the best thing to ever happen to the kingdom hearts franchise from a community pov and it's criminally underwatched! Great work!
2:25:41 I absolutely adore all the medals being each party member. The voice lines are all perfect for each character, too. After the first three being lines of support, my heart broke at Ven's being remorseful. It really gives off the feeling that "my friends are my power!", y'know?
3:00:01 When Player is playing pretend, all of the medals are characters possessed/influenced by darkness. I could *feel* the silence of the Player as Ephemer and Skuld cried out. Incredible.
It's a nice touch, and just goes to show how much love and effort went into this project. Well done!
I can't believe how good this sounds! It's obvious that this took many, many hours. Putting together all of the sound effects, the soundtracks and voices alone must have taken forever, and that's not even taking the mastering into account. Seriously, thank you too everyone that helped make this happen.

The editing on the glitching sections was a great touch, really drove those scenes home versus just having a broken version of the normal lines.

As someone who has actually played through the entire game back when it was a proper game, this means so much, I’ve always loved this game, and it’s a story and to see it brought to life by your voice acting was absolutely amazing. 10/10 special shout out to elrena’s voice actor it really sounded like a younger her. Also Ven and MoM great job. Honestly, they all did great. Hope you have a wonderful evening and are safe during these trying Times.

Watching the original cutscenes, I am crying. But now they are voiced, my eyes are like waterfalls.
I'm not very good with words so I'll just say this in my own way. This was THE BEST Fanmade project I've seen in a long while. The love and effort everybody put into this is Breathtaking, Honestly I watched throughout all the credits and thanks because I would, in some way, feel ungrateful for all this if I didn't watch it until the actual end, and since I'm pretty emotionally weak, I teared up a bit when the names of the people who voice acted in the fandub started showing up :'). Unfortunately I only met with this project once the second part was already posted, but I will do my absolute best to support the Dark Road all the way through. This was truly a marvelous experience.
Your work is always appreciated with this dubbing. Makes the series easier to digest and for new players and easier to rewatch for us seasoned fans. Can’t wait for the dark road dub in the future 😉😌

Strelitzia is the secret person Lea and Isa were talking about trying to save. Something to do with Xehanort's experiments with Ansem the wise ended up causing Strelitzia to end up in Unreality. Prediction calling it now lol

Finally watched it all! So Ephemer built Scala Ad Caelum on the ruins of Daybreak Town? And what happened to Skuld? And Damo’s heart became Xehanort?! Ngl I have questions haha. But wow, awesome movie 🥹
I think, in order: Yes, Ephemer founded Scala ad Caelum upon the same grounds that used to be Daybreak Town.
There is compelling evidence to suggest that Skuld wound up in Radiant Garden without her memories, and was taken prisoner as the “Subject X” who would later be befriended by Lea and Isa, and who their Nobodies Axel and Saïx initially joined the Organization in order to search for after she vanished.
Dark Road suggests that the Player (Damian)’s heart did not reincarnate into Xehanort, but rather the cloaked, elderly figure who is seen raising him.
Marluxia’s voice actor is spot on

Everyone’s voice acting was absolutely show stopping!! Moogle had me dying laughing, and I was so excited to see and hear all of players wielder friends it was a dream come true 🥲 the main cast was also of course excellent; every Darkness was chilling, Maleficent was honestly better than some of the cast members I’ve seen at Disneyland over the years, every dandelion fit their character effortlessly - I cannot stress enough how moved I am by the quality and just sheer heart put into this. And you’re also doing DARK ROAD?!?!

I really appreciate the effort put in by the VAs of characters who already have voices in the console games, they're doing really good impressions especially the MoM. Also, the darkness that possessed Ven sounding like Vanitas is a nice touch.
Hope you take a well earned break after accomplishing this feat, it’s awesome what you’ve you’ve created, and being a small tiny tiny part (stream lurker) makes it all the more special, and thank you to all the VA’s you captured the characters amazingly. I can’t wait to see in many years when I’m old and showing this to my grandkids when KH4 releases and getting them caught up in this experience

I appreciate all the effort everyone put into this dubbing, especially since I was never able to finish the game and won’t get a chance now, but still happy I was able to get my name in kh3 as part of some of the keyblade wielders.
This is the awesomest thing in the universe. Now the entirety of Union Cross's main story is accesible to virtually everyone.

This is the most impressive thing I've seen any community do for any game. Honestly this was amazing and is the perfect way to experience this story
Holy shit, this was AMAZING! I'm probably going to repeat what a lot of people have already said, haha, but the love and effort that was put into this project really showed through. All of the VAs did fantastic, and the editing choices were so cool (the layered Darkness voices were PERFECT, and the dialogue during the later fight scenes--my HEART). Thank you so much to everyone who worked on this project!!
Late but here now, Theory: the MC is the adoptive parent as missing link will show our second life. But the reveal will be our 3 life is as SORA we have always been SORA, and strelitzia is also Kairi another life which is why Kairis no body is Namine, being watched by marluxia & Larxene who dont remember that they are trying to find/ recreate Strelitzia. This is why Sora was able to see Ephemer in KH3 in the final battle, and why he can connect with those around him as they have all be in the same circle for 100s of years. Also trippy Riku is the next life of Xehanort/ his redemption which is why SORA cares and believes in Riku so much/ cuz interacting with the past and time mean nothing in KH.

Lastly, the LOREEEEE: omg soooo many questions answered in this second part of the kingdom hearts series!! Still questions, of course, but the questions that did get answered are HUGEEE, especially setting up KH4 and further!! Thank you again Damo and voice actors for this!!!

Union X was what truly reconnected me to KH, one day I saw all cutscenes in order, and I've always been into KH, not emotionally, I mean, I still cried at the end of KH3 and all the reunions from the trios, but I wasn't feeling anything special towards it anymore, then I just said "fuck it", "I'll still see/play whatever comes from KH, so I'll need that sooner or later", and no joke, Union X was what was lacking for me, something to be hyped about, a story that I truly love, characters that I got connected emotionally maybe even more than the trios, even though I've only watched them from cutscenes, I truly cried at the ending, and now you guys gave us a reason to see it all again, something that words can't even describe for the quality, thank you, thank all of you involved in this project, you made me cry again, you made me remember why I'm so hyped for Missing Link, why I decided to truly dedicate to this game, to see it all from the start, thank you all for that

I love how every time I watch these cutscenes I pick up on something different. I just had a new thought around 3:03:15 when Luxu speaks about the user of the lifeboat needing a vessel and memories at their destination. So that had me thinking, how the heck did Xehanort send Kairi to Destiny Islands?
Hopefully that gets explained at some point. Maybe cloak Ansem is the answer? But I hope it ends up being something a little cooler.

EDIT: Ok so 3:18:00 gave me another thought, though it might be looking too much into things. If the wielders with Chirithy have the option to turn into a Dream Eater or melt into another heart, then that may mean that Strelitzia also had that option. Not sure how this would connect to her showing up in Quadratum in the KH4 trailer.
But there is a theory that Player/Damian eventually reincarnates into Sora. If that is the case and Strelitizia was able to reincarnate too, maybe she reincarnates into Kairi. Could explain why Strelitzia was was drawn so much to Player. I doubt this though because then Strelitzia would have a connection to Sora as special as Kairi's connection, and that just feels messy.
that's only if they travel through time, besides Kairi was only sent to another world.
Kairi never travelled through time the way that Luxu is describing, the way that the Union Leaders did. Her heart never separated from her body (until KH1 at least), her lifeboat was only used to escape Radiant Garden, and because of Aquas blessing from BBS, she found her way to the Destiny Islands, to people who would care for her and keep her safe.
The reincarnation theory is interesting, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if someone else, possibly someone from the existing cast who's backstory we still aren't aware of yet (say Luxord or Demxys for example), also chose to reject sleep and be born anew.
Ah gotcha, so the lifeboats can also just be used to send people to other worlds. I also forgot about Aqua's blessing, so thanks for that.
It might not be needed, but I hope the rules of how The Ark functions gets explained a little more. And also how show more how Radiant Garden turned into Hollow Bastion (and I guess Daybreak to Scala to Radiant Garden?).
If I remember correctly, in the MoM cutscene when Xehanort sends out Kairi (assuming that is Kairi. It's like 99% her though), he mentions appearing on the other side. I wonder if Kairi didn't go straight from RG to Destiny Islands, and actually ended up in unreality for a time. Maybe those memories are still lost for her (could also imply that Sora will lose his memories in KH4). And if that's the case, there's a good chance that she's met MoM before, maybe even Yozora, and that would be really interesting.
Their original purpose was to travel through worlds not time. Darkness explained this to maleficent. The original lifebloats were created by Xehanort when he was posing as Ansem. MoM used his visions of the future to recreate the lifebloats in daybreak town however he never finished them since he knew the dandelions only needed them to send their hearts into the future. It was not important for him to finish their construction.
