Lupelius Ensemble is a collective music group bringing together esteemed musicians from Turkey. The ensemble, formed by Kartal Akıncı specializes in the Tango genre, infusing Astor Piazzolla's classical pieces with their unique interpretations.
Established on October 29, 2023, marking the centennial of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, the ensemble recorded their debut work on November 10 of the same year. Guided by the principles of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the group is dedicated to consistently advancing and promoting the arts in their country. Drawing inspiration from Stefano D'anna's "School for Gods", they adopted the name "Lupelius" as a reflection of their commitment to free thought, creativity, and artistic expression.
The Lupelius Ensemble's focus on Tango and their innovative interpretations of Astor Piazzolla's classics set them apart in the music scene. Formed on a significant historical milestone, the group's dedication to advancing the cultural and artistic landscape aligns with the visionary ideals of Atatürk, shaping their identity and musical philosophy.

Lupelius Ensemble, Kartal Akıncı önderliğinde kurulmuş, Türkiye’nin değerli müzisyenlerini bir araya getiren kollektif bir müzik topluluğudur.
Grup, tango türüne yoğunlaşmaktadır ve Astor Piazzolla’nın klasik eserlerine özgün yorumlarını katmaktadır. 29 Ekim 2023’te, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluşunun 100. Yılında kurulmuş, ilk kaydını aynı sene 10 Kasım tarihinde yapmıştır. Büyük önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün ilkeleri doğrultusunda ülkelerinde sanatı her zaman geliştirmek ve ileri taşımak amacını güden grup, Stefano D’anna’nın Tanrılar Okulu kitabında anlatılan “Lupelius Felsefesi”nden ilham alarak kendilerine bunu isim olarak belirlemiştir.
