- In today's video, we're diving into a new experiment: testing an affordable subwoofer that I purchased off Alibaba. With so many budget-friendly options available online, I wanted to see if this subwoofer could hold its own against more well-known brands.

Ok I've been around for 30 years, so I'm going to give you some advice when you invert a subwoofer you're positive should go to the ground and your negative should go to the positive on both voice coils coming from the amplifier
That is completely unnecessary unless you have a phase issue in which case most amplifiers today come with a phase knob or a 180 phase switch.
@@nickstalhood5380 unnecessary, why don't you go ahead and explain to me because I've run it both ways many times over the years and I never had to play with the phase knob when you have it wired correctly

Exactly. They will give you a sample price with the logic of if you like it and wish to order then you have to buy min 200pc. That 200pc can have your name and logo just like ctsounds, sundown, skar and just about every other audio company does. Almost every sub is made from these buildhouses.

Says rated at 1500 rms...meaning continual power to the sub you need like 750 rms power. Which is good..maybe more but it could burn your sub.

U needed to break that coil in more before rms tone running it look up different coil glues n the different ways to wind n glue a coil n just know rarely is any coil pre baked

90 percent of subs on the market come from JIAXING JINLIDA ELECTRON CO.,LTD. so if you really want to get crazy for $170 they sell a 18 on a ti basket and a 800oz motor jld audio extd2 !

So i would say especially the Low Budget Woofers got better in Quality Last few years.. Lots of them have These typical designed Alloi cast baskets and those Long Excursion coils ,and the typical Double stacked Magnet ..In the early 2000s in my country Germany the Woofers we're supercheap Quality and did Not Response more than 200-500Wwatts ...In the Same Time the Germans learned from the American Car Hifi Scene and imported some Brands Like Rockford Fosgate,American Bass,Solobaric Kicker,ESX ,and Others ...So the German Bass Scene was able to compete to the international Scene ...and 5000Watts or more we're No Problem ...
