Now ask urself this, was it really worth it to play them at full tilt just to blow them in 4 months or do u think under powering them by some watts to keep them playable for many many years is much smarter?

Hyanka 15 has the same magnet and spider as the hyanka 12 just a different cone which is thinner then the 12 to reduce weight this subwoofer is made of left over cheap parts easily bought in bulk. Wouldn't recommend it will burn up

What abt the bass boost on the head unit it does that affect anything or no? I have a kenwood head unit and have my bass boost on +2 out of 5 on 2 12s

I'm not sure how they rate this sub at 1500wrms when it uses the same coil & motor as the 12" which is rated at 1000wrms which is also a little on the high side. I'd rate them both at 700rms which would be a good reliable rating but it looks like Cerwin wanted to plaster big numbers to attracted sales like all these cheap brands do, there's no need for that Cerwin Vega.

Looks like your test tone was near Fb (port tuning in this case) which limits excursion which limits cooling ability, however it done well considering the disadvantage. Probably better to do the test in a sealed box mounted reverse for best cooling or free air if it doesn't overexert. I could get my coil stinky on only a few hundred watts half way through a song if it was mostly around port tuning.

Nice review! I had trouble with 2 CT sounds Tropo getting warm fast. I am in the process of sending them back. What was the prefab box you used in the video? Thinking of trying 2 of these, as my application fits 2 10s. Watched the other video. would the one 12 be better?

I feel like RMS ratings are just everywhere nowadays, if the sub can play all day no problems then it was rated properly but if it starts to smell,heat up, distort or anything like that at RMS ratings within an hour then it was rated improperly.

Hell yeah bro now that's a battery SCIB is the hands down strongest cells on the market great choice I'm going to be doubling my bank soon got big things planned but in the future check out getting you a good set of buss bars i completely understand the budget friendly option of making your own bus bars but unfortunately if you don't have all the tools you need (im in the same boat) you wind up having to rig it up to work like the saudering you did now you can't reuse the cells BUT that doesn't matter it's a learning experience i have an entire room full of learning experiences lol it comes with it and I was literally just looking about an hour ago and (BMS Batteries) has 2-3 different types of 2.9AH scib cells 6 of them for 44.95 it would be a easy way to get a good strong scib bank im going to start ordering 6 cells a week until I can build a bigger bank oh and just to let you know the M5 pedestal cells are the strongest but great job bro FR glad to see you getting that real power now

Hey man great video as always. I have been pretty impressed with these amps so far. I would love to see you do something with the 2 biggest Recoil amps. I think one is a half bridge 2500 and the other 33 or 3500 full bridge. Not positive on it off my head. Also they have a 5 channel that does 1800 on the bass channel. I am very interested in it too. But I am way way passed that with my 3k rms subs now. If or when I do decide to change subs I am hope to go back to 3 inch voice coils. Don't get me wrong I love my Avater 15s but they just need so much power to get that 💯% out of them. But they sound so great, hit the low lows and move air. Keep making these awesome videos man.

I just recently switched over to the Taramps from the Skar amps and Im confused if I got the right amp that can power my subs. I was surprised how small Taramps are and I was wondering if my Taramps HD 3000 can power my Skar 2x10 subs. Can this amp do the job?
