I have a 15" D2 be here tomorrow i may have to do a review. I build custom boxes and do installs so it will informative.
Now that we've seen what that sub will do in the wrong box, let's see what it does in a box designed for it.
ive reviewed many subwoofers in this box and a lot of them did great i even inverted this subwoofer so it would have the best posible cooling but yes if you have it in a box designed for this specific subwoofer it would perform better. in fact that goes for every single subwoofer on the market.

Nice test. Keep up the work, and you will be able to do projects like Parker the bass head. Its an expensive testing procedure though especially if you blow them

I have a question for people? Why is everyone only testing 12 inch subs? I run triple 15inch dvc subs in a Chevy Impala. 3500 watts.

Next subwoofer try the newer NVX 15" vcw V3
I was so disappointed in the v3 design, really just the basket design, I've never seen that 12 spoke design do over 87db efficiency on any woofer, I wish they still made the v2, it was a great sql sub, I thought the v3 would compete with Dayton audio, timpano, subs thaat sound great and don't need much to get loud.
@@Furybeatsgme the NVX VCW V3 is amazing. My dad has one in a small sealed box and it hits loud on a Hifonics 2000 watt amp. It's louder than a American Bass XFL so it's worth this guy to do a review on. Many people would love to see a review.
How about let's see what amp your using, if the amp is a cheepie and stock alt aluminum wire the amp is prob clipping the sub to death. Your not doing this sub any justice at all. Your blind leading the blind. My boy beat on a k9 on a JP 23 for the past year with no problems. NOT CLIPPING IT TO DEATH.
@@jasondeshazo7754 I have great electrical and an 8k amp not clipping at all I have a light up front to monitor it 320 amp alternator, 3 big Jeff audio lithium, xs d3400,ultra capacitor, and small scib LTO bank the 8k is a marts digital. I’m sorry if I offended you in any way I never talked bad bout this subwoofer I have no issues with it sounded great but dident last too long on a test tone rms test but I’m sure if it’s music rms it would last
