Hi Adam's wife, thank you for saying "yes" to your husband so he can pursue his dreams :D
Haha, shes a good egg!
lol as if she had a choice
@@throwawaypt2throwawaypt2-xp8nx Clearly she did... the choices were "yes" and "absolutely". She picked "yes" even though she mispronounced it a little. I see no problem here.
@@soldjahboy ur making it sound like he even needed to ask her for permission lol
@@throwawaypt2throwawaypt2-xp8nx I can tell you're not married.
Listening to tones below audible frequency rattle everything in the the shed, goes outside "Almost no noise which is cool"...... Meanwhile the old guy 3 doors down with the giant glass window pulsing at 16hz "THE BOMBERS ARE COMING THE BOMBERS ARE COMING!"
Best comment, made me snort!
lmao
One of the best comments I've ever read on here🤣
We got ya, bud. Next time go with "I want to replace the garage window" and "it'll be more energy efficient"
I think the success of the video has persuaded her this was a good idea haha
@@PacmanBasshead I hope so!
I live in UK for about 8 years and i've had to deal with lots of people - good and bad; but you, bruv are a different and rare species and i love that about you! Genuine, nice, kind and funny! LOVE what you do and LOVE your attitude! God bless!

You'll find my donation in the list.
Keep up the good work on the channel and congrats for 10k subs.
Greetings from Italy
Sorry to hear that man, thankyou for your support 🙏
Me and my family can’t thank you enough for your kind words and for sharing the donation link. Amazing message from you, Dad (Wayne) will be so overwhelmed when he knows the kind things everyone has done! Thankyou again
Its honestly my pleasure, fingers crossed we can help however we can!

You ended up on my FYP and I couldn’t be happier. You’re like a Colin Furze of audio, and I’m glad I found you. Keep it up and I’ll keep watching.
Haha. I do love colin, id love to meet him one day! He's about 4 hours away i believe
Agreed! There's genius in the madness.
Gosh darnit, I love RUclips so freaking much! Just a man, a shed, a phone and a brain that is thinking of stuff that for some reason, men's brains do...
Why is that BTW? Why do we dig us down in holes just because the earth is filled with numbers and stuff?
I know the reason... in the end it gives us a reason to buy STUFF, and we need something to do. Each weekend needs to be filled with work. Work that we want to do! :)
GJ, keep it going! :)
It's not just that. Weekends are the time we get to work on what we want to work on. Unless, like me, you have a pile of crap to clean up from when you took a week off to install enuf to get the car playing to my standards.
All matter has two properties in a man's brain. It can either be repaired or improved. If it's broken, fix it. If it's not broken, make it louder/faster/hotter/cheaper/flatter/stronger/easier. Should your matter break during the improvement process, simply repeat.
One of your very best, loved the Stone Cold gag😀Nice touch at the end too.
@@andrewfrancis2581 cheers! I thought of you whilst i did this haha
As a favor can you mount the sub inverted with the magnet inside. This will make you wire the sub backward but your electrical wont be outside. 🍻🎉👍🍻
Indeed, a box to unload in, I'm following.
One of my early builds was 4 8” subs in an infinite baffle set up on the rear deck of my large pontiac coupe. Wired into one channel the sound was amazing to my young ears and the sight of four drivers moving in unison was impressive at the time. As you noted , a downside to the set up was unchecked cone travel so the subs lasted about 6 months before the suspension got too loose and they had to replaced. I went through three sets of subs before I changed setups.
Donation made for your friend’s family, best wishes for his recovery.
Ah man thankyou so much! Im so grateful i can use this platform to reach incredible people!
And the view of multiple subs is so addictive!
Congratulations you mad bugger!
May you quickly make it to 100,000 and put a subbie in the wall of the house!
And you will be able to rebuild your now crumbling garage!
You are the best my man! Please keep it up!
Cheers man!!
key word being FOR (not WITH which is how i read the title) LOL
i bought a house needing a shit ton of reno last year that so happens to have the living room right above the garage. during the process i installed two 15's (Dayton Audio DCS380-4) hidden in the floor upfiring through air conditioning vents, backfiring into the garage. some of the best sounding bass i've heard for sure - smooth with no peaks/dips, 'fast', quite deep and the biggest benefit is that you can hardly hear it from the outside since what little escapes from the front and back wave basically cancels out. oh yeah, and nobody knows where the subs are lol
Never seen your channel before, congrats on the 10k!
I appreciate the wise words.
It's worth noting, the big attribute of the IB alignment isn't group delay, ... it's the extraordinary sensitivity increase that accompanies the acoustically large back-space.
The driver not needing to work against the air spring of a typical backspace, be it sealed, vented, whatever ... that's what elicits the coveted attributes of the IB.
Sensitivity
I've built/used multiple alignment platforms.
I built a quad 18" attic manifold IB for my primary system.
It's not without its drawbacks ... each approach possess unique pros and cons. Everything in loudspeaker design, especially subwoofer design, involves tradeoffs.
Solid content, much appreciated.
Cant wait to check out the other work!
Wise words from an educated person, thankyou! Super grateful you took the time to type all that out!
Congrats on 10K buddy
Thankyou!
Now 11k lol

OMG I remember the time when I was obsessed with dubstep and wanted a speaker like this back in 2014 lol
Can I just say I love your work mate, am a DIY sound enthusiast @ heart & honestly it's a breath of fresh air to stumble across one of your shorts while doom scrolling.
Greatings here from NZ, UP Da Wahs!
This was so funny and awesome!
I've not had any personal experiences with infinite baffle in a vehicle but if it does not play Bass outside, then it's a no from me.
I've seen a vehicle with subwoofers on the roof as the infinite baffle setup (they cut a hole in the roof for it to actually work lol).
I personally not gonna do that considering having the subs exposed to rain and elements but was very interesting for sure.
This man put himself in the doghouse with his old lady for our entertainment. Now that's dedication Yous all better like and subscribe!
Thats the rep i need right there 🔥
This guy needs more recognition 🤣I've never laughed more from a subwoofer video in my life XD

Love the amazing and creative videos! Everyone loves to see the channel grow, but as it grows make sure you keep spending time with your family because that is one of the most important things to anyone. Hope you can find a great balance and grow the channel to its full potential.
Mate always! The money from last months youtube has gone towards a week away for us all as the first time ive ever taken a wage ❤️
Thank you for the video. i was watching a similar one with a diy rotor infrasub but wanted to see with a real speaker.
Im pricing up a rotary sub as we speak!
Yeah buddy! In the late 80's i put a 15 inch cerwyn vega free air sub on a fat plywood across the gap behind the back seat on a 74 plymouth valient powered by a 1000 watt toshiba comp series... U could hear it moving 3 blocks away. 😅🎉
A TOSHIBA?! WOW!
9:01. You said it, so I did it. Hope this helps the algorithm.
Wow! This channel is getting more and more amazing!
While group delay is a thing as long as it's flat it's curver is flat it can be corrected with delaying the other speakers. Even if not flat with a more advanced DSP it can be flattened.
A 15 in essentially a sealed box doing that is crazy! And my god i had that same reaction when i first played something seriously DEEP on my 8inch Tapped Horn that's tuned to 15hz. It's louder than the Ported 15 that was also tuned to 15hz that i had before which is absolutely wicked!
I will absolutely help out buddy out a bit! Bass homies gotta take care of each other!
Thankyou brother 🙏 their family will massively appreciate it!
Wow Destin. Love how yu think.. Been me 4 a whyl. That's how I came to watch this channel. Yu seemed open minded. Yur honesty shows it. Loveit man. ❤
I've done this in two different cars over the years, the effect is startling, even with a cheap 30 dollar Jensen woofer. Just had to be careful with power. I always recommend it, nearly built one for my living room. but SVS made for a cheaper alternative with similar results. Also the "no noise outside" was an effect we noticed for both cars. Keeps the bass in where you need it.
Infinite volume sealed box for the win. Open WinISD and model that. It's basically what is happening here. Then model the same woofer in a 3 cubic foot sealed box and apply the Linkwitz filter to boost the bass response down to the free air resonance of the woofer. You will have the exact same response. The same maximum SPL. It takes very little power to move the woofer at low frequencies. The woofer output is limited by its Xmax at low frequencies.
Congratulations 🎉
Another awesome video from my kind of nutter. I love your energy. Don't think my landlord would be too happy if I cut a hole in the wall though.
Thanks for sharing your kindness. It's rare these days for people to genuinely care. I had tears at the end. Thank you

You should play original curtain shaker from Jorge Torres Bassotronics - Curtain Shaker it's 10 - 13hz
That baffle would make a nice spot for a rotary subwoofer ( variable pitch propeller subwoofer ) would 👋 slap…
My doorway would also make a nice spot...
Its as if theres another video planned for the future..

I've always wanted to try an infinite baffle setup. Great video, and congratulations 🎊
Oh you HAVE TO. Its incredible!
You gotta play myothermind low motion
Would be great to hear
I've been running IB in my car for a couple years. You dont get much above 60hz reponse to the front. So you need a front sub like a 10" in sealed to do 60hz and above. You wont every feel anything like IB from an box. Plus you only need a few hundred watts.
Exactly, the temptation to do an extreme IB build is real and just destroy the car.
Some 8’s in the doors will push above 60hz alright (with some deadening and foam in the door).
Your videos always inspire me to do something crazy for the audio for my little car. Now im thinking a transmission line with a passive radiator just because its crazy! Hope you are keeping well mate 😊 looking forward to the next video!
Now you have a new subscriber
A rotary subwoofer can also play those frequencies, but even wayyy louder! A disadvantage is that it can only go up to about 30-40 hz though depending on the design. It also uses an infinite baffle.
Thanks for sharing the fundraiser. I hope the insurance soon payout and your friend recovers.
This is absolutely nuts! Thanks for making an entertaining video and teaching me something new
That was a really entertaining video, but it was your appeal on behalf of Wayne and his family that earned my subscription. Best wishes to them.
I think before I would modify the gas tank location, I might actually try this with my 97 civic, needs welding and other kind of engineering, but would be fun to try before fiberglassing stuff
Loved this channel since the day I saw it on your Temu subwoofer video. Can't wait to see this channel get the subs it deserves and see what you have planned for future videos!

I did an IB install in a mates merc . With an 12” FI IB3 sounded nuts and the bass just got deeper when you opened the boot.
Oh that's cool! Cutting the metal scares me haha
@@PacmanBasshead Its ok , make some metal baffle rings for support on top and bottom for reinforcement and as long as its not structural such as the spare tire well it wont hurt anything.

Glad to be able to be one of those subs! Love the channel Adam!
Pleased to have you along mate! I'll do my best!
Back in the early 90's I set up my high school car with the whole trunk as the sub box for a pair of Pioneer 12" subs running around 250 - 300 watts each. (Big power back in the day.)
It took a lot of sealing get the trunk isolated from the interior but I could out-boom absolutely anything. 😋
The old school kick comp still water design subwoofer are free air. The song was called the art of noise. 💯✌️
Congratulations to you, Adam on your 10K milestone and being at 13.3K 6 days later! (today 27th July).
I look forward to your future uploads on RUclips.
I am not religious but Prayers for Wayne too!!
I have experimented as a younger teen we used to call those kind of speakers free air subs as they didnt need a box to run. Hatchback cars of the 70s and 80s were great as you could make a board to cover the hatch area and put some cheap speakers in it for a kid on a small budget this worked very well. Also pvc pipe works I would cut a small section about the same length as the speakers was wide and just leave the back side of the tube open.
You can also build the backside of your infinite baffle into a connected garage, basement, attic or crawl space with usually very similar or "good enough" results. Somehow weather proofing your install should be the next priority.
Considder making a manifold with 2 drivers wired in phase, but mechanically opposed. Or if you want to cancel out 2nd order harmonics mount 1 normal 1 inverted and wire 1 driver out of phase so the woofers move mechanically oposing in a push push configuration.
man you are crazy just yesterday I came across a video of yours and I knew I had to subscribe.
you rarely see people like you anymore.
Keep it up

Thanks dude! I will do! Keep watching and i'll keep making!
Congrats to your 11k brother!🎉 Keep on doing what you are doing!!! Love the videos❤😊
Hell yeah! Well on the way to the next milestone of 15k!
Subs with a QTS of .07 or higher generally work good for IB applications. Also, it might be time for tuckpointing that brick wall.
really like the idea and the shaking lamps lol
The dumbest thing i found out is that you can use a midrange from a Teufel M550 FCR select as a subwoofer that goes down to below 50 hz
