  • Today’s guided meditation practice is designed to expand and nourish the capacity of your nervous system. Essentially what that means is building resilience and the ability to hold space for challenges and stress with less overwhelm and suffering, which is a skill that most people could use more of these days.
This is the second practice in a series for embodying safety and peace in your nervous system. If you haven’t tried the first one, I recommend starting there because that practice is all about resourcing yourself to recognize the signs of safety and nourish your nervous system. • Feel Safe and Calm in ...
This second one in the series is like weight training for your nervous system to expand your capacity to hold challenges or stress. Just like you might go to the gym and lift weights to get stronger in your daily life, you can use this practice to become resilient and increase your capacity to hold stress.
NOTE: Please decide if this practice is a good fit for you right now and know that is ok if it’s not and you can choose another one.
In this practice, I will first ask you to recall a recent experience that you had personally that you felt a heightened state of arousal in your nervous system. Then I will guide you to notice the bodily sensations. Knowing that you are safe now, I will invite you to increase or amplify the intensity of the response. This process is about building capacity. Once you reach a heightened state, I will guide you to release the energy of any emotions present. Lastly, you are encouraged to self-soothe and regulate your nervous system back to a calm state.
If you don’t feel ready to do this now, go back to the first part and continue practicing self-soothing and resourcing yourself.

Thank you so much for this meditation. I am crying cleansing tears and letting go in the process. I struggle a lot with putting too much pressure on myself and have way too high of expectations of myself so I tend to get overwhelmed in life very easily. This video helped me work through my emotions and I am so beyond grateful. Thank you❤️🙏

Thank you for this. I'm cptsd, and I'm doing this channels meditations almost daily for three years now and it has been a true journey of growth, sparked a lot of new and bettering aspects in my life.
These series come out in perfect timing for me. I recently moved to another country from my toxic home country, starting a nee chapter in my life. After three months here I experienced a nasty trigger after getting unproportional backlash for setting a boundary.
First I saw this, listened to the info at the beginning and went looking for the first video. Couple of days after, when triggers calmed down a bit, I felt ready to work through them using this video. It was amazing, felt very accurate and healing.
Thank you for doing what you do.

Thank you for this Meditation Practice. I felt safe, supported on the chair beneath me. I felt I was held with gentleness as I allowed myself to feel the depth of the sensation before releasing. I love the self care exercises. Namaste

It took me a while to follow-up with this session after seeing the first but, in short, this was deeply rewarding and a very effective manner aimed at strengthening one's ability to connect to the self. Simply outstanding work, SR.

The energy and emotions don't just go away.....they are all still there. It's not like they are a flock of doves that I can release and send off into the sky lol, although I wish it could be that easy.

I wouldn't say do it everyday. I think this is best for when are going through stressful situations or u still feel stress from that situation and u feel like you haven't released it all
